  1. OMG, Jodie Comer had me cracking up tonight, probably like season one level. I need to rewatch to remember everything but stuff like when she was talking to the three at the Bitter Pill and they are kind of scared of her, there is a lull in the conversation as they are staring at her, then suddenly she says something really loud like it's been fun and has to go,and they kind of jump when she says it. oh man, so funny. Didn't he said he couldn't access it because it was on the cloud or something? It really was pointless and we did not need her storyline, waste of a good actress. Although I did crack up tonight when Caroline pulled that journal out with the blank pages and pretended that she had written something to Geraldine. πŸ™‚ What did she say again?, "it's time for Geraldine to leave" or something like that. That cracked me up too.
  2. Yes, a fourth is coming...but who knows when! a year and a half? Two? Grrr. I know V didn't do it, but I was so scared Konstantine was going to say V really killed Kenny. I thought that dancing scene may have been a dream. omg it was weird seeing them slow dance, it was like a fanfic or something! But I got a kick out of it once I got over the shock. πŸ™‚ Glad V told Eve she didn't want to live this life anymore. I liked the ending on the bridge. I knew when she told Eve to turn around they would walk away from each other, but I didn't think they would stop and turn around. Where do they go from here???
  3. So true. I love and admire some good face acting! πŸ™‚ And if she doesn't get at LEAST nominations for all kinds of awards then something is very wrong. As much as I loved Laura Linney's performance in Ozark this last season, I would love to see Shira pick up some awards for the amazing job she did with this character/story. I love this video where Jessica Chastain interviews Shira and she is fangirling all over her(and visa versa) I didn't realize she was in The Zookeepers Wife with Jessica. Now I have to go back and watch.....and also seek out other films she's done. Apparently, she won Best Actress at the 2020 Tribecca Film Festival(International Narrative category) for a movie called Asia that I can't seem to find a trailer for, grrrr... she said she doesn't know when it will be released but I can't wait to see that one. Also she was in a 2014 film called Princess that looks really good. Has anyone seen that? It's not on any big streaming services but luckily I found it on Kanopy which is a service through my library. It's great for all these lesser known or Indie films.
  4. Preach it Blake! (Blake Shelton Slams 'The Voice' Winners' Record Label)
  5. Damn, I thought Dasha was dead. I am not a fan. Plus she has stinky breathy per Villanelle. Thought K was a goner too but him I'm glad he's still around. They were telegraphing that heart attack for a while now. l cracked up when Eve gets info from the golfer then kicks him out of the car! πŸ™‚ Sorry but they have put Jodie in some fugly outfits this season. That green thing she was wearing tonight was...yikes! I laughed at Eve's little half hearted return wave at V as the train was pulling away. Remind me, now how did she know V would be at the station? I was right there with K whenhe was getting so angry at his daughter for not giving a damn about killing her mom's boyfriend and ruining their plans. I still enjoy the show but this season is just not as good as the last two seasons, like why were V and Dasha going to kill some rando guy playing golf? For fun? Don't like that... or did I miss something? Anyway, hopefully the writer(s) have something good in store for the finale. I don't know if it will being as good as the previous two finales but let's hope for something unexpected as they were.
  6. I hoped it would be Micah, Toneisha or Todd but I did pick Todd as winner. I was surprised Micah left first though. The look on Kelly's face...she was not happy about that. I bet she didn't think he'd ever get cut first. Too bad we couldn't hear what Blake said but I'm sure he will repeat most of it somewhere. I am not a Jonas Bros fan but I really liked their new song, it was catchy and danceable! Also thought the song Micah and Kelly did was good. Fingers crossed next season will be back to "normal" because it was a bummer to see these performances like this, but at least they didn't shut the show down. Feel sorry for all the contestants that they couldn't perform in front of a live audience, etc.
  7. I know! I loathed her too. Her and her nicotine gum!
  8. Did anyone watch the finale? There sure was a lot of twists and crazy turns and red herrings. But in the end, I am fine with who killed Andrew. And I knew even before she said it that the lady detective would let off.
  9. It was tough to lose Allegra, but I knew someone deserving would unfortunately had to go. I actually voted for Toneisha and Allegra.
  10. I know, I loved his character on this and Seinfeld, even though they were basically the same shouty guy. He was so hysterical in his line readings
  11. Thank you, I thought I was the only one who was a bit bored by this one(compared to the rest) Except for the last 10 minutes which I thought was the best part and really got my attention, I actually looked at my watch wanting this to hurry along and I don't remember ever not liking an ep as much as this. I love the V character but I guess it was just so out of her element spending time with "family"(people I didn't really care about though) and such that it was just a bit jarring for me. (Like when they all started dancing around to the Elton John song) Some of Jodie's facial expressions are so funny though. Loved those. In that great first season kitchen scene with Even and V, Eve says, "I know something happened to you." I am curious, was that "something" what V's mom did to her or was it more than that? Because in my mind I was thinking something big, like V seeing someone she loved get killed in front of her or something like that, not that getting sent to an orphanage was not traumatic for her but I was thinking it was something else.
  12. That might have been the bizarrest buildup to a Villanelle kill I've seen so far. At first when I saw the huge NIKO graphic to start it off, I was like oh man I thought we were done with you. Well then by the end I guess we are really done with him. But I didn't want him to go out that way,(surprised the hell out of me) and not happy that Eve will think it was V that killed him. Eve sure has had a rough week or two(depending on the timeline) At first I wasn't loving the flow of all the individual stories but then really liked seeing how it all intertwined
  13. Just watched the first ep of season 2: Hated that Dean is getting away with everything for now. He better pay for what he did by the end of the season. I don't want him to be redeemed. I'm glad we got to see Darnell find his girlfriend(forgot her name, RIP) instead of Nia having disposed of her and he'd not know where she "disappeared to" I forgot, did Nia kill her or did she have someone else do the job? I'm glad Murphy didn't ruin Chloe's life, I didn't think she would be that mean. Hi Pretzel!
  14. Same here. I was like, who, what? It was way too long ago and only six eps so my short term little memory was having trouble. I got my niece to watch the first season about a week ago so maybe she can fill me in on who's who with me reading a recap. πŸ™‚ Right now, there are a ton of suspects they way they showed everyone, lots or red herrings for sure.
  15. So why did that guy(forgot his name) fool Ruth into getting in his truck, then we see her walking back on the road and Ben picked her up? I felt like I missed something.
  16. I am watching it right now,the website put it up early! But if you watch on tv, it comes on at 11pm, which is a weird time slot. Is anyone going to watch? *crickets*
  17. No you haven't! He'll be on next week I believe.
  18. I am so glad KE was already filmed and ready to go, unlike so many other shows that got corona'd. We need the little things in life more than ever to keep us happy.
  19. The first three eps are already on Hulu. A day earlier than planned. I just happened to be on Hulu and noticed the eps were ready to go!
  20. I just finished S2 also, and while I think S1 is excellent and not quite as good as S2, I did think I enjoyed it more on this second go round. The B story of the detective who killed his girlfriend was quite good and the actor did such a great job showing just in his facial acting his nervousness and anxiety with what he'd done and trying to play it cool at the same time. Since HV is leaving Netflix, I bought the S1 dvds right away!
  21. Oh no really?!! It's probably my favorite series on Netflix along Wentworth and not having it around anymore even though I've seen it about 5 times is going to be a bummer. I've recommended it to so many friends and all have loved it. I just told someone of Facebook the other day and she thanked me for the rec. Crap, I liked seeing it still pop up under "watch again"...and I just might.
  22. I totally forgot they were going to do a S2! Found out it comes to Sundance TV on April 8, here's the trailer. It's been so long but I want to see where they take this
  23. Great news!! Season five is already on in the UK! Here is the trailer. Can't wait until PBS will get to air it here in the US. Here is a little synopsis that I found: "Season five of The Last Tango in Halifax will see Celia (Anne Reid) and Alan (Derek Jacobi) face off against the seven-year itch. Alan attempts to keep himself busy by getting a job at the local supermarket, but Celia isn’t keen on spending so much time alone. Meanwhile, Gillian and Caroline have their own (slightly less serious) issues to contend with."
  24. Finally a season 3 trailer! It's been so long between seasons I will have to watch the S2 finale to remember where the hell I left off. πŸ™‚
