  1. I loved Ryan up until that point. I understand why he would want her to be careful about what she says to Chris. It was the way he said it that was hurtful.
  2. Wow, I thought Bald guy was so freaking hot until him cutting her off. I did laugh though, but wow, hard to recover from that. Ning annoyed the shit out of me.
  3. Yes indeed. My heart broke for Jacob when I got to that part.
  4. I like Jacob! I was just assuming the sex wasn't good if she made a sea change right after.
  5. I actually like the couples doing a lot together! Especially when there's a wild card like Chris!
  6. Virginia looks and acts like a meth addict. I don't like Chris, but the "man up" comments from Erik? I would want to deck that nerdy guy! I'm guessing Jacob is not hot in the sack.
  7. My daughter freaks about needles. I keep telling her DO NOT LOOK. But she always does and fainted the last time.
  8. Ah, thanks. I was in pretty good shape when my daughter was 2. I know it's done all the time but I couldn't not have imagined have an infant and a 2 year old, especially special needs.
  9. Yes to all of this. I remember thinking that perfect birth mother story was dumb from the get go. What I'm surprised by is they didn't have a storyline where Kate and Toby were rejected precisely for her weight issues by multiple birth moms and then they meet with Ellie and she is concerned about her health. Then Kate gives the Pearson speech on why her weight isn't an issue, then voila -- gets chosen as the adoptive mom. At least it would've seemed more realistic. And zero concerns about a blind infant (how old is Jack supposed to be now?).
  10. I thought for sure we'd see that she had a reaction with her meds and then we'd see Randall making the furious trek to the hospital.
  11. I know, I should really just enjoy storylines for what they are! I just feel like sometimes they are in Soap Opera category with the dead being undead, job changes, etc. That said, I always look forward to the show! And I am definitely looking forward to Jack's alcoholism explored.
  12. Yes, nothing is guaranteed, but Kate's obesity is something you know and can make an informed decision on whether you want to roll the dice with a known health issue. Again, this is my problem with the show. Adoption isn't easy. I know that because my daughter is adopted. For the Pearsons to so easily adopt Randall after suffering loss of a triplet and then for Toby and Kate to so easily be chosen as adoptive parents (even if you do it privately) defies credulity. But then again, every storyline defies credulity pretty much. I mean, if I'm Madison I'm thinking "WHAT? YOU QUIT YOUR JOB? DURING A PANDEMIC AND WE HAVE TWINS?" Sure, I guess he's wealthy from acting, but there area lot of out of work actors and now he's pissed off YET another director. I probably should just stick with reality TV -- which might be more realistic. 🙂
  13. Exactly. That's why it's so hard for me to believe. But then again, the show started with an unrealistic premise that a couple that loses one of the triplets has zero issue quickly adopting another baby.
  14. This isn't about being "prejudiced against fat people" it's about a birth mom CHOOSING a birth parent out of a sea of likely more healthy people. Being morbidly obese as Kate is, her life expectancy may be much shorter than someone who isn't morbidly obese. The actress herself has said "I want to have a fit, healthy body. I don't want to be limited by anything." Yes, there are mothers with health issues, mobility issues, etc., but it's hard to believe that a birth mom is going to choose an adoptive mom with a known health issues that could shorten her life expectancy. Not to mention the same mom that has a blind child would require much more attention to ensure their needs are met. This storyline is as unrealistic as the Pearsons losing the 3rd triplet and somehow are able to bring home Randall with zero issues.
  15. It's so ridiculous to me that a mom of a newborn hands their baby off to a woman whose mobility is surely impacted by her obesity. If it isn't now, it will be in the future. I guess if they want us to believe the New Big Three was born in one night, I should suspend disbelief that a pregnant woman is going to select a morbidly obese woman with a blind child to be the mother of her baby. Also, the woman playing Esther does a terrible accent making me happy that the story was a one and done.
  16. Ah, interesting. You would think Chris would've been given a good PR run down of what not to say, what to say.
  17. I almost expected Malina to pull a Pearson -- check out of the hospital against all orders and race against time to get to the airport to provide Kevin with his ID and Passport.
  18. Is it wrong for me to hope he chooses Rachael? I mean, imagine how embarrassing this would be for the franchise -- first Black Bachelor chooses woman who attended an Antebellum party and apparently liked racist SM posts, gets defended by the host who has to step aside, and then ultimately gets the engagement.
  19. Yes, it's a lot to handle. However, here's bubbly Madison during a stressful time with the Pearsons! This was her personality from the beginning of the show. Do you really change the core of your personality that much? The pandemic has made me stressed and depressed, but the core of my personality has not changed. Yes of course, she's going through a lot. I just feel like they are rewriting the quirky irritating personality of Madison into someone you'd believe Kevin could fall for. The irony is it makes more sense for Kevin to have fallen in love with the quirky girl that annoyed Kate then the character she is now becoming.
  20. Are we 100% certain that William "Shakespeare" is Randall's biological dad? I feel like we haven't fully explored Randall's biological family yet. 🙂
  21. Thanks! I forgot about that. Still, he could've done what every Pearson does and ignore his wife and make a big romantic gesture to stay with her. Instead, we got to wait for the heroic big gesture of quitting his job and doing ANYTHING to get back to his fiance in labor.
  22. I don't either. I might've liked her with Kevin if they had maintained the personality she had from when she first stepped into the Pearson's orbit -- she was quirky, sweet, upbeat girl fighting her addiction and trying to make a friend in Kate. Now her personality is pretty much Kate's on a bad day -- gloomy, doomy.
  23. Exactly. If it was crucial for Kevin to be with Madison, then he should've declined the role. But then we he wouldn't be a Pearson if he didn't up and quit a job for saintly reasons!
  24. Another dramatic quitting of a Pearson! Do any of them ever manage to keep a job? Did it ever occur to him with 6 weeks to go, she could have the babies at any time? Like maybe you shouldn't have taken the job to begin with? I guess that's too logical and we are to continue to believe that the Pearsons can quit their jobs at any time and somehow never have a consequence. Meanwhile, remember when Madison was a bubbly person? What happened to that person? Yes, I know she's having twins and that's scary. But she has completely changed personalities now. Also, am I the only one that thought at first the person he saved to be his nasty old football coach? I was waiting for him to consider exacting out revenge on the ex-coach but then him saving the coach that called him stupid! Lastly I'm so tired of the myth that is Jack. Is that his only motivation Kevin has to be with the twins? He can't just be a soon-to-be-father that wants to be at their birth? We have to go back to the tired old trope that Jack Pearson was the best parent and husband that ever ever lived?
