I give her credit for knowing about the parts of the volcano. Her trees didn't look all that great. And would Duff have known that was a mongoose if she hadn't told him. I understand why Oscar didn't want forest. He had to put a lot of trees and there wasn't time to do it well. Pity because his volcano was stunning. Too bad his flavors were subtle.

Lilla could be a contender. I like Tasi, but she doesn't act like one of the oldest there. Not sure if that unconventional education is doing her any favors. She is the weakest baker.

I'm watching an episode where they are renovating great grandparent's house for a young couple about to get married. Not sure why they even needed Dave and Jenny since father of the bride owns a construction company and seems to be doing all the work. Which explains the pile of money needed to do this renovation. Everything got changed around. It doesn't look like the same house at all so not sure why it needed to be a family house.

Did Demetrio get a personality transplant? I hated him every time he appeared on Chopped. Here, I almost didn't recognize him. He seemed subdued, wasn't boastful, took criticism well. Once Justin was out, I was even rooting for Demetrio. Saw Chris on Beat Bobby Flay and I think I was pulling for Bobby.
