The judges are getting pretty picky. Your theme is disco so one of your characters should have been dancing, not spinning. How the heck would they have done that? Would a character rocking back and forth be considered dancing? Dammit Jim, I'm a baker. Not an animatronics expert.

If this isn't horse country, they are not going to have a lot to choose from. Of course they are taking the place that already has an arena. Wonder how much it's going to cost to build a house.

I didn't understand the rationale for moving the basement stairs. And I'm not sure David would have wanted to try and list that re-done house.

I too was able to get FJ. Took less than 30 seconds to count along the royal line. Hari, obviously has no knowledge of the British royal family.

James certainly got the shaft with seaweed as his ingredient. The judges look great all dressed up. I thought Hall of Lost Souls was the hardest to depict. Probably why Hollie gave it to Ryan. Did she have extra time, she seemed to have so many more details on her display. Not sure what James was going for with his different tents. Ryan did a decent job after his batter setback. Not the outcome I wanted.

It's been such a joy this season to have Jonathan back. And we have a more mature version, he's not being asked to do those juvenile shticks. Too bad he couldn't stick around for the Holiday show. Shinmin's earrings were gorgeous. Her outfit didn't quite measure up. Both displays were awesome. I couldn't tell which one would win. The witch was scarier but the octopus was definitely in an attic.

I just saw the septic episode. If that truly is French country, I am not a fan of that style. Didn't like the red front door. I did like how the German schmear turned out but not the wallpaper over the mantel. That blue/lavender was not my favorite in the kitchen but I did like it over the ledge. If Bonnie bought that house when her kids were young, why does she still have a mortgage and why wasn't the septic taken care of at her closing?

Terrasini, Sicily. What a great location, so pretty. I like how quiet and supportive Guillermo is. Although the side eye when Jennifer said spending time with Henry was most important to her was funny. It would be a no brainer if Nonna's house was available. I would go with #2.

I didn't see anything wrong with #1 or #2. Why are they so worried about parking the car when Richard talks about how long it takes to walk everywhere? They seem like good parents.

Damn, what did Rashida ever do to Cliff Crooks? Or does Cliff want to keep being a judge on Beat Bobby Flay? It always amazes me that a chef who has no experience with an ingredient outcooks someone who uses it everyday. Something just thrown together, I'm not sure if I should shake my head in disbelief or bow it in awe.

For once, I couldn't guess which daredevil won. There were elements I liked on all of them but none of them were clean. And the dynamic elements were lackluster. I thought the zombies were too small. Crampus was good except for the lower legs but the volcano was a little disappointing. The mummies were fun but looked unfinished to me and Eddie was right to criticize the rocket.

I thought FJ was looking for a person. ☹️ Can I say I was distracted by trying to finish the newspaper?
