Really good point. Depending on how Emmy season goes I could see them cutting the seasons down as well as five seasons of this just seems exhausting. It was such a hit last season with so many thought threads and questions but now the audience knows half the questions don’t ever get answered and other major stories fade off I don’t see it carrying the same traction. I think Juliette Lewis is a big loss as well. Killing any of the present day stars is a risk because you automatically lose a bit of interest in the past character knowing they don’t win out in the end. Unless season three really turns things around I just see this limping to a shorter finish line of 3 seasons.

Have the showrunners commented on whether or not it was Juliette Lewis decision to leave the show? has she commented on the exit? I could have seen Nat dying at the end of the series but not two series into an apparent five season show.

I think the show has lost me. At this point I dislike everyone and just think the story has gotten stupid .

I feel like Natalie is a very different character this season. Are we getting a romance between her and Lisa?

For me it’s the height difference. Young Lottie looks about 5 ft 10 and is noticeably taller than all the girls. Older Lottie looks a lot shorter by comparison. Especially when with the other women. Ita a small gripe but it does bother me.

I hate this. It’s such a common trope in these types of shows where the agents or all nonchalant and blasé about the missions and danger. It’s supposed to show us that they’re confident but really they just come off like idiots and you can’t take any of it seriously. This is 100% going to be the big twist.

See to me this is feels very much like Quantico - the sequel. In her initial scenes she still feels to be falling into the cocky special snowflake, standout agent, pick me, I’m not like the other girls character.

Rewatching the first season and it has such a Seinfeld vibe to it. Joey missing Phoebes birthday party to take Ursula out was so mean. Phoebe looked so hurt and although he got dumped in the end I wish we’d seen him say sorry to her for missing it.

If they’re in pre production I’d say it will just be delayed.

Poor Krystal. This was the first death that felt purely expendable and without any real emotional impact. I’d be shocked if she even gets a mention past this episode unless it revolves around them eating her.

I really enjoyed this. I never saw it in any of Netflix’s top ten so I’m not sure how confident I’d be in it getting a renewal but I’d be really happy if we got a season two. I agree about Anna being the breakout.

I’m finding Mari so annoying that I’m at the point where I welcome her potential kill and eat by the other girls.

I probably missed this being mentioned but did anyone acknowledge Roman wearing his dads cardigan throughout the episode?

This is just such a fantastic breakdown. Greys in its day was brilliant but when you take away all the hype etc above Is very accurate.

I don’t Know if I enjoy or believe Ana in the badass roles. The Gray man was another one of her films that didn’t land for me. Having said that it was a woeful and bland script so can’t put it all on her. as already said I think they had chemistry in Knives Out because the characters were polar opposite. Here Chris is meant to be the ordinary Joe to her badass but I have a hard time buying him in this role thanks to captain America. Not a single joke has landed for me so far. It all just feels really awkward. Like maybe they all realised it was going to be a stinker midway through filming.

The trailer looks awful. Just a hot mess, the film clearly doesn’t know what it wants to be. The two leads just seem awkward and don’t seem to have any chemistry. The critics have bulldozed it. Has anyone that’s seen it though confirm if it’s watchable?

I’m not suggesting you do. My point doesn’t really have anything to do with you personally at all. My observation was that in that moment Siobhan felt vulnerable because she was understandably upset and frustrated after falling (and everything else) which is the opposite of how she wants to come across in front of all those men. Again, I don’t think she fainted because she was emotional. I just took the scene depicted her vulnerability in that moment as she normally has a steel front and at that second she was alone and clearly upset which was not how she wanted anyone to see her.

I thought her fall was to illustrate how frustrated she was that she was being reduced to exactly what she said she wasn’t - the emotional woman.

I didn’t think Ana was great. I think she seemed nice and enthusiastic but I just don’t think a lot of the sketches with her landed. This episode solidified for me that Chloe isn’t as strong as I previously thought. She does some great impressions but as someone upthread said she doesn’t really have a specific voice. The dog sketch made me think she can’t carry a sketch by herself but maybe I’m being harsh as working with dogs is tough. Heidi makes out with a cast member in each episode.

Is Roman not the youngest? I always thought he was supposed to be. In the family picture in the opening credits it looks like Shiv is third oldest and Roman the youngest. I always thought that Sarah Snook being the actual youngest confused who people thought was the youngest. What does Marcia go? I always thought she was just a socialite.
