I had a feeling that they were just from a few instagrams but both seem very private so we probably won’t hear much more. From Sophia Bush to Torrey deVitto to Tracey, Jesse has had a good time in Chicago.

I’m rewatching and Jo Koys opening monologue isn’t as bad on rewatch. It’s not great. Some jokes werent great and he should have left the dig at the writers out but a lot of the crowd gave him nothing - Christopher Nolan and Taylor Swift in particular had such shitty reactions to two very tame jokes made at their expense.

I’m sure he did but he proved popular enough they brought him back three times. The difference with him is that he genuinely couldn’t care less so a shitty reception from the room wouldn’t phase him.

What happened? It was hardly worse than the reception they gave Jo Koy.

I think a lot of the jokes he used were from the writers.

His jokes aren’t great but I don’t think the audiences arsey faces are helping his nerves either. everyone looks so miserable tonight. I thought this was meant to be the fun awards.

One thing ill Say in the hosts defence - he wasn’t great but the audience were total dry shites about some of the jokes at their expense. It’s a friggin award show guys lighten up.

I don’t think roasting is the way to go ever at these award shows. Unless your Ricky Gervais it never works.

Yikes Nolan looked hurt at the Oppenheimer jokes. Oh god this is not great!

Jason Sudeikas is dressed as though he was having a casual dinner nearby the award ceremony and just decided to pop in.

It’s awkward because the presenters are so hyper, I feel like the celebs just want them to calm down a bit.

Jesus guys I might need to switch off. I’ve so much second hand embarrassment with Marc and how awkward these interviews are. He’s just so so awful. the only decent interviewer is Angelique and they’ve relegated her to the background. Shes barely interviewing anyone.

I don’t by any means think Laverne and the gang at E are that good but at least there’s less squealing than Marc and the other one.

It’s the singing he’s done in at least six interviews - I’m having to look away he makes me cringe so much.

Nicholas Cage always comes across as gloriously batshit. I wish Marc Malkin would stop shouting over the celebs and just let them speak a full sentence.

Yes I saw et online and variety streaming so I’ll watch that and potentially catch the actual show tomorrow as I’m in Ireland watching and starts at 1am. im surprised ET not doing full coverage. I assume cbs wouldn’t give them a decent coverage spot? It’s the kick off for awards season so it’s a shock tO me they weren’t all over it. My only gripe with variety is Marc Malkin at variety is a brutal interviewer. He just giggles his way through everything and it’s so irritating to watch.
