The first season had a sweetness to it that this season lacks. And it was fun watching Harry adapt to life on earth and his skewed perspective on humanity. I loved the first season. Now I waited 2 days to watch the latest episode. It is not as fun for me. However, I did love the women walking down the middle of the dark street. Visuals like that always get me. And I liked the ET comments. Otherwise no.

Yes, good point. I was making assumptions. I know that I would be lost indirecting a photo shoot and thought they each had some knowledge. A family member is a photo producer and I know she sees photos in terms of composition and backgrounds that I do not. It seems like Christina lacked this skill too.

What I found most interesting was the difference between designing for a runway and designing for a photo shoot. They asked each of the designers if they had designed for a photo shoot before and all answered yes (I think Bones said yes but then said he had been an assistant on shoots so maybe?). Anyway It tells me that they have all had some success in their careers. I just appreciated learning that it is not the actual garment, how it fits, how it moves but the photo, the background, how it fills the frame,etc. I thought Shantall’s deserved the win. But really it didn’t fit Coco very well. That one section shifted to the side so far I thought we would see her boob. It was stiff and looked scratchy and rough. On a runway it would have been obvious that it wasn’t that great a dress. But for the photo it was a win. I am so over Coral and her damn macrame looks. I will miss Bones. I thought he was fun.

No, of course it was not explained that Tyler had Hamlet memorized. Just like it was never explained why this one stupid book, Station Eleven, was so great or had such a pull on these dumb kids. They had access to all the books in any library and this is the one they chose to memorize? I didn’t care about any of the characters either with the exception of Jeevan and Frank.

So we are just going to ignore that Tyler is this evil guy who puts bombs on kids and has them blow themselves up? One performance of Hamlet and his issues disappear? And why was Miranda so sure everyone in the airport was not sick but everyone on the plane was? The show had some moments but overall I hated it.

I see your point that he might be mad at Kirsten but I haven’t seen anything yet that he is actually mad at her. Maybe in a future episode.

I haven’t read the book or spoilers. Why do you think Javeen is mad at Kirsten? The first episode and this one are the only ones I have truly liked. And that is because I like Javeen and his interactions with Kirsten and Frank. This episode made me cry. I came into this show without knowing anything about it. The first episode made me think it was going to be Javeen and Kirsten along with Frank (maybe!) navigating their new world. I would have preferred that. I cared about them. Adult angry Kirsten? I don’t care. Traveling Symphony? I don’t care. The mystery of Station Eleven? Okay i want to know the answer but I don’t think I will get an answer. I will be glad when this show is over.

I would have given the win to Chasity. Those pants were great. I loved the whole outfit. i did not like Kristina’s look. I thought it was fussy and overly complicated. To me comfort equals easy and hers was not. i think the problem with designing for the larger models is that the designers are only given one chance to fit the garment. I think more time with the models to adjust the fit would make for better results. If you don’t have enough done to see how it will fit the model it can make for imperfect fits like Zayden’s. I wish he could have stayed. I liked him very much.

Well don't forget that Gary did not return Colin to the lady who owned him; he got her a replacement dog. And Maggie went along with it. The show demonstrated its belief in situational ethics a long time ago.

This was unforgivable as far as I am concerned. I kept checking the time during the episode. Because it seemed like it was at least 2 hours long. So much I didn’t care about. I did appreciate the lengths Day went to exact retribution. Pretty impressive.

Introducing the mystical element has been the most disappointing aspect of the show. They should have called it something other than Foundation because Asimov was not about mysticism and magic. I might be more open to what the show is if I hadn't had expectations based on Asimov and his books.

I read the books but decades ago so I don’t remember a whole lot. I do know that Empire was not in the books and really that is about all that interests me in the show. However I am not interested in Brother Dawn and his stupid teen angst. I just wish this was better than it is.

I have missed the last 2 episodes too and after reading all the comments I don’t think I want to watch them. The show lost its heart I think and without Dr. Kapoor I just don’t want to bother with it.

I rented the movie. I don't think it is as good as the series. It lacks the heart and even the humor of the series. The addition of Ray's daughter was brilliant and makes us see him as more than a mob enforcer. And seeing his friends and his loyalty was another plus. Of course the movie was a different entity altogether. If I had watched the movie first though I don't know if I would have bothered with the series.

It is the series finale not the season finale but that might make it more likely that they end on that note. I hope that it ends with Ray getting out of the business. I think Chika Yasumura is fantastic as Brittany. And the show absolutely captures that 12 year old brattiness which is impossible to live with. Then she wants to cuddle and Ray has his little girl back. So good.

I am impressed with the nuance in this season. It is incredibly sad to watch Ray try to come to terms with his life. Kudos to Scott Ryan as writer and actor! With each season the story has very naturally evolved.

So how long do you think it has been? Just a few posts upthread someone said Brit was 9 and here she is 12. But I I don’t know if Brit was 9 in Season 2. I have always loved Ray’s and Brit’s relationship. I felt his pain when she asked to be dropped off before they got to the school. And his frustration when he tried to make it up to her with her friend to no avail. He can’t fix everything. is he working for Freddy again or was this a one off?

Ugh. These doctors. It is just common sense that you take care of yourself first so that you can take care of others. It is why the flight attendant tells you to put your oxygen mask on first in an emergency before taking care of your children. And I thought Helen was smart enough to call for help before going to help Max. Dr. Reynolds broke it off with Bloom because he did not want to marry a white woman or even lead her on. But he is knowingly going out with a married woman? He is so rigid with his moral code and what people should do that I can't see him with her.

What and when is the emerald ring story? I don’t remember it

I will really miss this show. It really made me feel like it was the finale when they brought in Edrissa for that short scene. Everyone in the cast was terrific. Honestly there is usually one person in a show who I just don’t like or feel is a wast of time. Not so in this case. It always felt like to me that everyone was enjoying working with each other and they all had chemistry with each other. Well done show!

I always thought Max and Zoey were old friends; I never realized they met at SPRQPoint. I did not like the episode as much as everyone else. The family dynamic was off for me. The parents and adult kids were entirely too invested in each other's lives. I would never have called my daughter on her first day to tell her I was going to have a stress test. As far as I am concerned the only time to call was when Maggie was going into surgery. And I thought they made Maggie and Mitch into some fairy tale couple that no other relationship can ever match. That would be cause for some therapy for Zoey! I thought the songs were interesting in showing that music has always played a role in Zoey's life and so therefore it is more natural for her to have her gift.

I along with the rest of you am glad I stuck with this show. It finally seems to be finding its feet.

I guess I am not the only one wondering if I want to pick this up again.

Amen to that. The reactions of the poor people who come into contact with the Debris are never right. They are never terrified enough or angry enough. They are oddly compliant with whatever these two idiots in charge tell them to do. No one asks the authorities to explain themselves. We never see media or any blowback from any of the past incidents. It is just too stupid.
