  1. Thanks for that, Accidental Martyr! I missed the difference in the amount and now I feel better!
  2. I do too or thought I did. I don't like that he stole money from her. And I was hoping he would take the money back from Brent Jennings (I am totally blanking on his name right now) and put it back. Maybe short the $200 membership but it is better than not giving anything back to her.
  3. For me the movies are Riggs and Murtaugh. The tv show just has the same name and characters' names. Otherwise I would never have enjoyed the tv show. But that's just me.
  4. There was an interview on TVInsider.com with the EP of Lethal Weapon and I have to say I am willing to give the reboot a chance. From the interview: I like that instead of killing himself the Cole character wants to make amends. The interview also talks about how Damon Wayons has been pranking Seann William Scott a lot. Sounds like they are at least starting off on a good foot.
  5. I read Sharp Objects back when it first came out and liked it. Then I read her second book Dark Places and liked it. However I hated Gone Girl and thought it way too long. anyway I had a hard time when I heard that Amy Adams was portraying Camille. In my mind Camille is small and not as beautiful as Amy Adams. I thought the first episode was slow and boring and I am not sure I am in the mood for another series in the Southern gothic style.
  6. I don't watch Big Brother or Survivor so I don't know those people. I really don't have much of memory when it comes to tv but I remember Becca and Floyd (hated Becca) and Tyler and Korey. They were okay, I think. I don't remember the others and wasn't watching in Season 5. I would prefer to see strangers racing than teams who come in with their fans already in place.
  7. I agree. Who knew that so many people felt that strongly about Crawford?!
  8. I want to know the numerous actors who have been offered the role and declined!
  9. I agree with others that the best part of the show was the partnership and this season has had less of our two stars together. I thought it was the writers and had no clue it's because Wayons and Crawford don't want to act together. That is a shame. I am a couple of episodes behind and wonder if I even want to catch up. I don't know much about the business end of things but common sense tells me that a lot of you are right in that a firm hand to get everyone in line would have helped.
  10. Well now I don't know if I will continue knowing there is already a Season 2. I did not like Bill's death and fast forwarded through it all but I was hoping the season would end with Villanelle's comeuppance. I like Sandra Oh in this and am glad that she will be over her infatuation with Villanelle now. But watching all the different ways Villanelle manipulates people, uses them and kills them in these outlandish ways is not appealing to me at all. Maybe it is better to get out now.
  11. I could not agree more! And Riggs did not see or talk to Molly for 2 mos. That is a long time and I am surprised Molly gave him the time of day much less listened to his apology and explanation. She has a kid and what did Riggs ghosting do to him? Nope, I wouldn't give him any second chance. And I liked Molly and Riggs together. But they should have left them split up. So going back to Molly and revisiting the father storyline makes these last few episodes fill like filler.
  12. I don't think she did in this episode. I just caught up with the episode after this one and was surprised to see that he had moved in with riggs.
  13. I am playing catch up and just watched this last night. I don't like Trish and Murtagh fighting at all. And now he is moving in with Riggs. Yes, it will be amusing but I have always enjoyed Roger the family man. In love with his wife. In love with his kids. And what about Harper?? And it is such a stupid mid life crisis. His job has always entailed risk and I can understand Trish not wanting him to take unnecessary risks like with the bomb in that long ago episode. A motorcycle doesn't have to be that risky but unfortunately Roger didn't do anything to reassure her. And I can see that she would be pissed that he bought a car without talking to her. That is an expensive purchase. I just wish they had found another way than to have them fighting.
  14. You are right! I think the poster I was quoting probably meant The Bold and the Beautiful. I used to watch the soaps a lot back in the day and always hated the stunt casting like this. It was always awkward.
  15. I don't see her as that at all and honestly don't know what gave you that impression. I don't know where the resentment of this team comes from and if it were the earnings potential then why not the same resentment towards the athletes that are competing? Even in a not mainstream sport like the Extreme team's skiing there is a lot to be made in endorsements. I think it is may be that they are young and have that college thing going where they still like to use all of the multi-syllable words and try to prove their intellectual superiority. I happen to like them despite all that and figure as they mature and their working relationships develop they see that not everyone who is smart has to do it the same way. And maybe they don't mix with the other teams that much because they feel out of their element and don't know how to. I hate the way it seems a lot of viewers are piling on for no real reason.
  16. from the episode thread: I would guess it is one of those appearances that CBS does with their reality show people. I have not seen any kind of acting ability from Cody. He is wooden in front of a camera and did not like performing the song before an audience. And yuck if it is a recurring role.
  17. Recurring role? CBS soaps will have people from their reality shows make an appearance but that is all it is.
  18. Yikes! I am not comfortable having to post the episode and hope I did it right. Am I the only one still watching the show? I thought this was another good episode and like that they are trying to move Riggs beyond his alcoholic behavior. And I can definitely get on board with Swoosie Kurtz being his sober coach! I am not sure how I feel about Roger's behavior though. I have always enjoyed Roger's family and the glimpses we get of his life with Trish and the kids. And I am in love with Harper! I can understand the midlife crisis but I hope he and Trish work things out quickly.
  19. It's too bad the violinists didn't get more air time because when they were on, they were really funny. When the one said, "Earnest words of encouragement" I made them my favorites. And they did really well with the U turn. I will miss them.
  20. Thanks Haleth! Not a big deal then at all.
  21. Well I seemed to misunderstand the drama with the words. I thought Jessica, Brittany and Indy guy were working together. If they gave her words she didn’t have and she gave them an incorrect word then I think that is wrong. If however she didn’t get any words from them and told them one wrong word? I am okay with that. so which was it?
  22. If I am reading a book and it goes off the rails for me or I just can't with the story any longer I will skip to the end. I watched about 15 minutes of Episode 9 and then went right to the last 15 minutes of the 10th episode. I love Kyra Sedgwick but Jane was such an unlikable, smug character I could not stand her at the end. And I wanted to fix her hair through all 10 episodes! I am not sure how she got suckered in to being the Executive Producer. Then again I am not sure how much an Executive Producer has to do with a show. Maybe she didn't read the script until the end? And Shapeshifter was right: The episodes that were the easiest to get through were the ones where I was doing something else at the same time.
  23. I have been to one of those meetings with the therapist and family and yhe person who is in Rehab. And it is all about the patient and his/her perceptions. Idon’t remember getting a chance to tell the other side of the story because as far as the therapist was concerned it was irrelevant.
  24. Part of the charm of this show has been location. And Letty fits in so well in all the different social scenes-whether it is the honky tonk bar or the golf club set she knows how to work it. I don’t think it will play as well in LA. And the show will suffer without Estelle, Rob and Jacob.. and I cannot see any credible way to get them out there Season one was fun. This season was less so. I will watch a third season but I noticed I was waiting longer and longer to watch the show.
