  1. That Harry killed original Harry and wants to destroy the human race is not a deal breaker for me. Neither is the fact that he tried to kill Max and Sahar. I can’t really explain why but it just isn’t that kind of show for me. I am having too much fun with it to care.
  2. I wondered if military lady is really another alien trying to find Harry. Either to help or hurt him. Just because she is so off the wall. I admit to being influenced by Paul in thinking that And I agree the mayor’s wife looked stunning. That dress was so sexy without being too much.
  3. That bothered me so much. It is a rectangle! I am disappointed in the show and don’t know how much longer I will keep with it. I have been disappointed in most of the science fiction shows of the past few years. They are all so forgettable once I stop watching that I barely remember them. in fact it is a good thing I have it dvr’ed and that they show promos on Resident Alien or I would forget Debris too.
  4. Are we really supposed to think that Gary might be the father? I didn't pick up on it if true.
  5. This show never fails to deliver. It is so good. Max is always welcome and I agree that I missed Sahar.
  6. This show is the most absurd thing ever. I cannot believe it is not being played for laughs. In my household we were rolling on the floor laughing. It has the worst police work ever. The time lines make no sense. Ronald is tooling around town taking pictures, not worried about a thing because we can assume the police sketch has not been released? WTF? Ligarski is just lying in his bed with no one to monitor who comes and goes from his room? He can still be under arrest even if he is hospitalized. The girls weren't immediately picked up and taken back home by their parents for some therapy and healing? Cody's son was not interacting at all with the sister who is supposedly his girlfriend. Jenny isn’t offered any protection? Just another loose end. We are just watching it for it to end at this point. It makes me glad I never read any of C J Box's books.
  7. I liked the show a lot. I couldn't figure out who the Sheriff was (I missed the opening credits) but then it hit me-Sgt. Gabriel from The Closer! Of course I will be watching this. It will be fun to watch Alan Tudyk as the lead.
  8. I honestly thought that Zooey was trying to hear a song so she could better understand her feelings, but could not. It never occurred to me that she was hearing a song that we weren't privy to. That kind of changes things. But why would only that one part be solely from Max's point of view?
  9. I was happy with Will and James winning as well. They practiced geography!
  10. This show is just a self indulgent fantasy by the film maker, Luca G. None of it is grounded in reality except the tv clips.
  11. I liked Daniel Dae Kim's character too. It is nice to have someone new for everyone to play off. So I guess Jocko Sims (Reynolds) is really leaving? I liked him too. I realize half of it is fantasy but I still like this show. I bailed on Grey's Anatomy a long time ago and have missed watching a medical show and this has filled the bill.
  12. I can hand wave a lot of stuff and just say well it is tv. So all the things about her being arrested and no real investigation and all-yeah stupid and not credible but I like the show so it is okay. But this was the first episode where I really didn't like Dex. Maybe because I've read a lot lately about narcissists but boy did she fit the profile here. She didn't care about anyone else, just her mission. She didn't care if she ruined Miles' career. Everything was about her and what she wanted. She wasn't aware of anything going on with Ansel. And she is still taking the blame for Benny's death which is really just making it all about her. Still.
  13. Personally I don't like logos on anything I wear. I put up with it on my Nike and athletic tee shirts and shoes but if I had my way I wouldn't have a logo on anything.
  14. I am right there with you. I acutally took one of those DNA tests because I was hoping to find something interesting in my heritage. And my sister is a genealology nut and has taken the family back to the 1600's. So I also wanted to do an I told you so since she is a so hyped on tour"heritage". But nope we are boring as hell. English.
  15. I think Alan could not go back for his fabric because he had not paid for it. He was distracted and ran off to find his partner to make sure she wasn't buying chiffon. The fabric was still on the cutting table. Christian kept saying if you weren't in line to pay then you would have nothing.
  16. I believe that the show should be able to stand on its own. There are a lot of books adapted for movies and it isn’t necessary to have read the book first. I never read any of George R R Martin’s books but watched all of Game of Thrones. This show cannot stand on its own and so I am out. Visually it is very appealing and it has a lot of good actors but it isn enough.
  17. I don't know of any colleges that allow you to finish your BA at a community college. Of course she could have taken online classes. My husband was drafted about the time Jack went in the military. There was no military pension. Maybe it is different if you weren't drafted but I would think you had to serve a certain amount of time.
  18. I agree wholeheartedly with your post! I watched the last 2 episodes together last night. The next to last episode that ended in Mexico with almost everyone on the beach would have been a fine season finale. Or so I thought. The season finale was great! And finally Liz stopped annoying me. She has been my least favorite character with her sad sack ways since the beginning but she was finally allowed to have fun in the past 2 episodes.
  19. Right there with you! And anything to do with her. I don't care. And why is she so overwhelmed with the baby. I had my last child 12 and 14 years after my first 2. I had built in babysitters! And if they couldn't do it, I had their friends. And my 14 year old was at the stay up half the night stage and I would just hand off the baby and say wake me when you want to go to bed. My husband was away Monday-Friday in another state.
  20. Haha. I thought the same thing! And I believed you when you said his name is Axel. Only to find out it is Ansel.
  21. I liked it but I like detective shows with smart ass PI's-Rockford Files, Simon and Simon, OG Magnum. And I totally bought Dex beating up those 2 guys. I sincerely hope we don't go the triangle route with the bartender and the policeman. It is possible for women to have male friends that they are not romantically interested in and vice versa.
  22. I can’t watch it on Mondays so I am usually late posting. I hate to cry but was absolutely crying at the end.
  23. Put me in the group that didn’t like the episode. I was bored and not engaged. Tying it all together at the end doesn’t make the preceding 60 some minutes any more interesting. God is Jennifer Morrison going to be a regular? I am not a fan. I like Omar Epps and Nick Weschler but I dont think we need all these new people. And I agree that it was one stereotype after another. Teen dad that is tempted to sell drugs. Soldier with PTSD. Singer who is only interesting because he is blind. Lazy writing.
  24. My problem with this show and all of the other episodic shows (as opposed to one offs) is that I just don't remember the history of the show. I don't rewatch episodes and really don't obsess over any show to the point that I remember the minutiae of the episodes. So I feel like I miss a lot of the references. I don't remember any of the founder's story or anything about Larry's Vietnam experiences. I still liked the episode but I wish the writers of everything I watch would take into account my poor memory! I found tennisgurl's post really interesting but I really hope Liz is not the chosen one. For me the heart of the show is Dud and his enthusiasm and capacity for love and his resiliency when he gets knocked down.
