  1. Rachel's definitely on the fame whorish side when it comes to reality TV...2 seasons of BB, 3 seasons of TAR, counting this one, 1 appearance on My Fair Wedding, and 1 appearance on Celebrity Fear Factor
  2. Now I'm reminded of why I hated him so much on Big Brother, and why I was cheering when Nicole finally realized she could, and did, do so much better. Jozea on the other hand, he's much more likable on Final Reckoning and on this show than he was on BB.
  3. For me, it brought back the finale memories of not being named in the top 3 for America's Favorite Player after being so confident that all his sister's millions of social media followers would make him a lock to win it
  4. I'm just glad that RuPaul mercifully didn't give him/Eureka the lion's share of the camera time, because that would've made this episode even more unwatchable. Only good part about Frankie's appearance was seeing the look on his face when Ru announced that Cracker and Chester were the challenge winners...very reminiscent of his reaction when he was so sure he was getting the fan favorite prize on BB, only to hear that he wasn't even in the top 3 vote getters. Back to the contestants, I'm rooting for anyone except Eureka to win, because I've never been a fan of those people who insist on always being the center of attention, and Eureka is one of those that I'd avoid like the plague if I knew her in real life.
  5. We've actually had 4 Racers on other CBS reality shows...Nadiya & Natalie were on season 29 of Survivor, where Natalie went on to win, and Jeff & Jackie got cast on season 17 of Big Brother. And I'm not complaining too much about crossover casting, because it was because of a Survivor/TAR crossover that I started watching this show. On a slightly more positive note, I'm just glad that Frankie declined the offer to appear on the show, and that there's no Paul or any of the remaining couples from BB19. I'm inclined to believe that neither of the latter group were asked, because having seen how desperate Mark/Elena (mostly Elena) are to stay relevant, if those two were asked, they'd have taken BVM up on the offer.
  6. I hated the acting challenge, as I do all acting challenges on RPDR, because I doubt any of these queens are looking for a career as the next big TV star. I actually didn't mind Cracker's old person runway look, because having grown up on NYC's Upper East Side, she looks like every older woman I've encountered there, down to the patronizing attitude. Asia definitely shouldn't have won, because I thought Monet did an all around better job with both the acting delivery and the old woman challenge. I really got where she was going with her old lady persona, and it's a shame that the judges didn't get that as well. As for the previews for next week, I unfortunately recognized Frankie Grande from BB fame as one of the makeover stars, and hearing that he was paired with Eureka is already preparing me for a cringeworthy moment. Eureka's campiness is annoying on its own, but pairing her with another over the top person who never met a TV camera he didn't like? That's not going to go over too well.
  7. And speaking of the fact that younger people might not be familiar with those icons and their looks, I grew up in the 90s and still have heard of Madonna's MTV VMA performance. It's up to each queen if they want to educate themselves on drag culture or choose to remain ignorant about it.
  8. Good thing Michelle/Ru clocked her on that comment by pointing out that Cher's look in that performance was very iconic. I can't even when someone wants to be a drag superstar, yet doesn't pay attention to people considered the ultimate gay icons, like Cher, or in previous seasons/challenges, Diana Ross.
  9. So much this. Courtney, Ivy Winters, and Jynxx were all great at the singing challenges in their respective seasons, and even Adore could sing pretty decently, so one of them should've handled the vocal coaching instead of Todrick.
  10. I wonder if RuPaul was secretly cursing Monique out for messing up the lip sync, because Monique messing up meant she couldn't find an excuse to send Vixen home.
  11. If that's horrible, I'm joining you in hell, because I was thinking the same thing.
  12. Michelle Duggar's twin is this show's version of Meri Brown, so no way she deserves to be freed.
  13. Please let that be true. I really don't have the intestinal fortitude to see a shirtless FT without having a bucket close by, and I know I'm not alone here.
  14. And speaking of Mykelti, I'm already picturing the (puke-inducing) moment if she and FT decide to ever reproduce. Magazine/birth story rights being sold to the highest bidder, baby piñatas in the bathroom, where there will already be a street taco stand, with 10 tacos per spectator, and any other tacky Mexican thing FT will insist on throwing in there.
  15. These are the same parents that didn't catch on that Truely was seriously ill until Aspyn had the common sense both parents lacked and alerted them that something was off with her sister, so it's not unlikely that they'd fail to realize that Ysabel was having back/spine issues until the medical screenings at school caught it.
  16. Will it come decorated with bride and groom piñatas and sell only Mexican candy as opposed to whatever white people candy is?
  17. Somehow Janelle was the only one of the original Brown wives that never got that memo, thankfully for my spellcheck.
  18. I remember that as well. Every time she wanted to contribute, he always had something very snarky to say, and felt that because he was the older sibling, he knew all. Sort of reminds me of Henry & Evan, where she's constantly calling his opinion into question. As to whether Evan's actions are due to age, debate training, or personality, I really haven't seen enough of her to make that call. And another pairing I can think of where both partners are fairly intelligent, yet didn't feel the need for one to constantly put the other one down were Brendon & Rachel. And yes, I know Rachel may not seem like brain trust material on the surface, but what initially did draw her and Brendon together were that they were both science majors in college.
  19. He mentioned her to Jessica on BB, but didn't really talk about her to anyone else, because he said he really would've lost his cool if someone had used his daughter to get him to snap. And considering the people they had to live with then, can't blame Cody for that choice.
  20. I'm questioning the supporting themselves part with Conor, because as far as I know, he's still living rent free with Alex, and didn't seem to be too willing to consider Phil's offer of using the 12K he won so far to save up and find a new place of his own.
  21. Not every BB/Survivor team has managed to get far. Allison/her then BF and Jenna/Ethan were leg 2 eliminees, and Jordan/Jeff didn't make it too far either. In the other crossover cases, Rob & Amber got 2nd mainly because of Rob's willingness to do whatever it took to get the upper hand, and Rachel & Brendon, despite the drama and Rachel's over the top crying, are also two extremely competitive people, so that explains why they got to final 3 on both seasons. And Cody's also proven to be on the competitive side, and completely dominated this past episode, so that's why I see the logic in those two making it far. So in the end, even with the stunt casting teams, it comes more down to personality than to any CBS rigging.
  22. It probably helps that here they don't have a whole mob thinking up new ways to get Cody to snap and potentially get expelled from the game for physical violence.
  23. As much as I hate to admit this, I can't really snark on Jessica for not doing anything in the frog task, because that would have been me too. And she was a lot calmer than I'd be at the Roadblock, because my screams would've been heard in whatever the country next to Thailand is if I'd have had even one insect/arachnid that was still moving placed on top of me, never mind three of them. But I will snark on her for the camel comment, because it's physically impossible for a camel with udders to also have testicles. Between that and her hymen comment on BB, I'm questioning how she passed biology in high school. And speaking of stupid comments, I can't even with one of the Indy Car douchebros thinking that they'd get malaria from milking a camel. It's transmitted by mosquitoes, and I didn't see any of those hanging around the desert.
  24. Not all are villains...Jeff & Jordan appeared to be well liked by the other teams during their brief time on TAR16, and Hayden/Caleb were some of the most likable ones on their Survivor crossovers.
  25. That was two different scenarios. With Ashton/Vanck, the real hate seemed to be a general dislike for how Ashton constantly treated Vanck because she thought he was too nerdy for her and would rather have been paired with one of the athletic and more handsome guys. And with Evan/Henry, it does seem to be that most of the teams are threatened by how those two have consistently been a strong team.
