  1. I did! Thanks so much (although since the copy I got was written in 2012, it didn't help with last week's FJ)
  2. 3/5, no * Note to @saber5055: The book on Presidential trivia I won in last year's contest didn't help me at all for Friday's FJ! ETA: .
  3. Why is it so hard to believe that James lost his game to Emma fair and square and not on purpose?
  4. Maybe the fairest way to do it is to do it id to make it cumulative for all competitors. Put a value on each obstacle (one point for completing the first obstacle through 10 points for finishing the course). The top 72 men and top 12 women based on scores from all City Finals go to Vegas. Ties are settled by fastest times. To make it really fair, all the courses should have the same obstacles, but that might get boring over 12 weeks.
  5. 1/5, no *. So I go out with a whimper, not a bang. Many thanks to @saber5055 for all the hard work in running this contest.
  6. 2/5. And I have @M. Darcy to thank for one of them.
  7. When I saw FJ, all I could think of (after Izaak Walton) was poor @M. Darcy. I hope you didn't throw anything and break your television.
  8. It wasn't Grant; it was his father. Grant and Zuri started dancing at the end of the interview and Dad, who was standing next to Grant during the interview, shook his head and walked away. I guess he isn't into the dancing.
  9. Please, please, please continue the contest! It's been a lot of fun. No prizes are necessary. Bragging rights are all most Jeopardy fans want anyway. Thank you, @saber5055, for starting and running the contest.
  10. 2/5, no *. Bring back the Teen Tournament (or at least the FJs)!
  11. The competitor's nickname was The Stallion, although the stick horses were missing the part which would have demonstrated that.
  12. 4/5 with *. (Would have been 5/5 if I stuck with my first choice of NATO over UN. 4 1/2/5?)
  13. 5/5! But I feel that my score should have an asterisk since the FJs this week were so easy.
  14. Just when I was giving up all hope: 4/5. Good for me!
  15. 1/5. Sorry, I've been on jury duty and this was the first time I could get online. Also, it's a crappy score.
  16. Is there a place where they show the final rankings? I always wonder who makes it to the next round, but I never can find a list. Even when they show it at the end of the program, it goes by so fast, I don't always catch all the names.
  17. As I said in another thread, wouldn't be wild if Emma beats James' or even (dare I say it) Ken's streak of wins.
  18. Wouldn't it be interesting if Emma goes on a run and beats James' consecutive game record?
  19. The link doesn’t work. Sorry. Try it now.
  20. I think the show is messing with our minds. They showed James standing there looking puzzled and concerned and then Megan looking the same and suddenly starting to write something, but too late. It made me think James was stumped by FJ. Instead, James had written down the correct answer before the camera was on him. Of course, it wouldn't have made any difference in the outcome, since it was a runaway, but it would show a crack in James' armor.
  21. Oooh, maybe the writers are doing a secret homage to Ken by seeing if James knows the answers to Ken's FJs.
  22. 4/5. I knew Dreyfuss, J'accuse, everything but Zola. Boo hiss.
