  1. Zach is gay, right? I mean that's why his Father told him, "your Grandmother will be watching", when he left.
  2. I thought that JJ calling that POS a charlatan was rather charitable of her. He was just the worst type of person, to say they're going to give the dogs a home; then turn around and try to sell them. Also watched the one yesterday with the black, lesbian with a mohawk who would not STFU! Kept waiting for JJ to go ballistic on her but she must have had a big sushi lunch that day and was in a good mood. I am tired of these rental cases, I guess since she won't hear cell phone bill disputes anymore, this is what's left.
  3. You know the "Triangle", cosists of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. I live in Raleigh, and to be honest Durham is a little dicey. Downtown is being rejuvenated but there is a lot of gang activiy there. Local government is nutty too, always seems to have someone in trouble. The wife was annoying on the episode too, I could barely stand to listen to her childish voice, their daughter was adorable though. The house they picked was OK, nothing special. This is the second HH featuring a local academic, are they recruiting at the schools? By the way, it's 94degrees today, and there's a 100% chance of rain, she'll be loving those fans soon enough.
  4. I know they have to pander to the buyers, but does every kitchen have to have granite? Hardly any quartz or concrete, or even butcher block (making a comeback). I have to say they do have a way with bathrooms. I think that in more recent episodes Christina looks softer, but anyone slamming her appearance is full of crap, she's a very attractive woman. I really enjoy the show, they make a good team.
  5. She may have money, but no common sense. Toilet in the kitchen? No, dear. Must have been one hellava Paris location.
  6. Just saw the one with the guy suing the woman for false arrest,(yeah, I know; which one?). Well, the one who's boyfriend is in jail for beating her 5 y/o so badly that he lacerated a testicle and said TESTICLE WAS EXPOSED. JJ kept saying to the Mom, "there's something wrong with you". On one hand I'm glad this woman was on JJ b/c all her manipulative, poor me BS is documented for posterity. On the other hand, why is this incredibly tragic (For the 5 y/o only), episode on tv in the first place? I think that this type of case does not belong on a show that's main aim is to entertain.
  7. Just saw the Chicago one, with the husband who came to this country from Poland when he was about three. They were looking for an older home, like a bungalow but I can't remember the name/type exactly. They were another couple who I hope to see again when the reno is complete. Just a nice, cool couple who did'nt sell their souls to create drama for a TV show. The husband's Dad is a contractor so it's bound to be nice. I'm beginning to wonder about these California people and their need for space for nonexistent RVs. Two in the last month. Is that a big thing there? I know there's nothing I'd like better than to look out and see my neighbor's big RV sitting in the driveway! Oh, forgot about the fool in Durham, NC too-so that makes three. All with long suffering wives!
  8. I would like to see Rosie Perez on the show, she's got a sense of humor, is from NY, and is always a good guest when I see her on talk shows. How about Amy Sedaris? Someone mentioned Soledad O'Brien, she'd be great! What about Anna Devere Smith? All I'm saying is if they got rid of everyone except Whoopi then at least they've identified the problem. Whoopi is an opinionated, articulate, intelligent woman, those two-just no. They brought the level of conversation lower, but I confess haven't watched the show at all since Jenny McCarthy was hired-giving her a job on this show elevated her profile, along with her dangerous, uninformed views regarding immunizations. Don't want Rosie back either, I hope the show goes forward and not backwards-you really can't go home again.
  9. This group is kinda unlikable as a whole, to me. The only ones I can abide at this point is the chick with blue hair and the guy from here- NC, Donny. The girl from FLA, Victoria? Can't say I admire her confidence in her looks b/c it's grossly misplaced. That Caleb guy is simply put -a real douche, reminds me of that asshole from last season. Everyone seems to be filling the BB personality niche nicely though from the clueless holy roller to the twink who thinks he's adorable, don't know who his sister is, and don't care.
  10. She has the knack of making probably expensive clothing, look cheap. I guess they all can't have Robin Robert's stylist. Sigh.
  11. Loved the DC episode with the gay guys. ALL the househunters should be as cool as them. Hope, hope, hope, to see a follow up renovation show on them, I think whatever they do will be fabulous!
  12. I love Four Weddings! I live for those lovely sore loser brides who bring on the snark when they get beat! Glass slipper bride and New Orleans bride come to mind! Also love me some B-L-A-N bride and 40+ cougar Cinderella bride! What I don't understand is why some of these women go on the show-especially the mundane nothing special wedding brides? I just get such a kick out of the clueless, "I have this in the bag, my wedding was the best," and they come in LAST!
  13. Probably one of the funniest shows I've ever seen on TV. Not much of a laugh out loud type, but who knew that Lou Diamond Phillips was so funny?
  14. Enjoyed the Jacksonville, FLA couple. The house didn't look like much from the outside, but, was nice on the inside.
  15. That guy was the scum of the earth but the woman suing him had a major screw loose. Who are these women who have such low self esteem to get caught up with these assholes? It boggles my mind. Lending money to guys they barely know or getting bitter when the guy dumps them after he's bled them dry? Is the sex that good? Really? Also, the couple who adopted out their child? Lowlifes like that don't seem the types to do something in the best interests of someone else, let alone a potential meal ticket like a child, without a payoff.
  16. I love this show. Like the couple too. Considering they have an adorable small daughter, it's refreshing that they're not creating drama by bickering or putting the others' opinions down. I hate that. The show is interesting enough without phony drama, (looking at you Flipping Vegas and Househunters). I can't wait for the hoarders episode.
  17. I'm glad for the response, I thought it was just me. I think that Kelly was pissed a couple of times, he talked while Kelly and the guests were speaking-nonsense. His outfit looked dumb too. Nicki Minaj didn't want any of his stupid ass even though, "Hey, I'm not married anymore!" Good on Idina Menzelf for cutting that fool loose-
  18. Taye Diggs filled in for Michael and was he an ASSHOLE!
  19. The idiot who wanted to have room to renovate a schoolbus into an RV- sometimes I thank the good Lord that we have An HOA!
  20. I don't understand the appeal of an open floor plan- I have been to houses where it would have been better if the kitchen was not part of the view due to the mess. I also cringe when I see the crap granite and low end stainless appliances these people ooh and ahh over. Have some originality.
  21. The daughter in the way too young for her baby blue flouncy skirt with bolero jacket- if you love your Mom and "take care of her"; for the love of God buy that woman some teef! Forget the car! Did it say where these people were from?
  22. Always thought from reading the books that Shae was in cahoots with Tywin for awhile. After all she is strangled with "The Hand"'s necklace; seems like an important piece of jewelry for just a jumpoff.
  23. The case with the Bulldog was a good one. My BS detector was seriously out of whack, (attribute it to being a poodle owner), but, I thought the bulldog owners were the shifty ones-at first. I guess I like to think I live in a world where people take responsibility for their actions. I feel badly for the dog though, hope she was lying about the dog's jaw missing- probably just a tooth. The JJ episodes that involve dogs are really my favorites-JJ loves dogs. I get all misty when I watch "Baby Boy", the one where the guy's poodle was stolen from his Mom's backyard and sold. When they bought the dog into the courtroom and he saw his real owner-it gets me every time.
