  1. On another forum someone called it the fruit roll up looking thing underneath.☺️
  2. I'm anticipating tomorrow night (Sunday 11-7) and this gloomy mess finally being over! ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️
  3. I suspected that was the case. I'm suggesting that it's hard to present well in head to toe bold pattern and such a boxy jacket and that the model being exceptionally tall and narrow helped Shantal immensely. I wonder if the judges would have been as impressed if the look was worn by one of the other models? I'd say probably not, and that if an even shorter average height person like a 5' 4"-5' 6" woman bought and wore the outfit it would look just awful!
  4. Thank you. I didn't hear that. I need to rewatch the show, not just the runway. 🤭 Oh... that's what the mini Mood set up was for? Yes, I heard and saw that part🤦‍♀️ Hard to believe for instance Prajje used the fabric he got and nothing but...if he had options.
  5. Are models Grace and Rachael considered plus size? Does anyone have any idea what size beautifu, tall, shapely Grace is? a 6 or 8 maybe? Whereas typical fashion models are what a 2? or even a 0? Ivana and Dariana are the two obviously plus size models. Ivana wore Octavio's B+W dress and Dariana wore Bones' black skirt and floral top and half cape. It's like dressing these different body types are like meeting completely different challenges. Regarding Shantal's navy+white diamond pattern fabric with a whisper of floral that she made into a 3 pc ensemble that won... I noticed her model was an entire head taller than the other models and contestants when she walked off the runway after judging. She also has a very narrow build and is completely flat chested. I found myself wondering what that would look like on someone of average height that wasn't even plus size; just maybe 5"4" -5" 6" and sz 8 or 10? [I'm guessing not so good.] Then there's Bones and Coral having used solid black skirts and some of the others used solid pieces too, such as Kristina's solid jumpsuit and Sabrina's pink overskirt thing... Coral and Aaron used the floral pattern almost as a border with a solid background that made up half or more of their look. IDK exactly what I'm trying to say other than maybe everyone should have to design for plus size women as one (or more) challenge; and in the case of this week's, if solids can be used and the garment doesn't have to be made entirely of the fabric they had created from what they drew... that should be made clear at the outset.
  6. This comment is GOLD! Bravo/PR peeps I hope you're listening reading.
  7. Me too. ☺️
  8. 💐💮🌼🌺🌹🌼🌻🌷💐💮🌾🌼🌹🏵️🌸💐🌼🌷🌻🌾🌺🌷🌻🏵️🌸💐🌼🌻🌷🥀🌺🏵️💮🌾💐🌹💮🌾🌺🥀🌸🌼💐🌻🌾🌷🌹🌼💐🌻🌺🌼🌻🌾🌸🌹🏵️🥀🌾💐🌻🌼🌷🌹 This post is full of truth! I've been dying for Darren to be sent home but Katie and Sabrina's looks were most tragic. I liked Zayden's short dress with pouf shawl thing. It would have been stunning in that black and white print Octavio used! I somewhat liked Kristina's kimono robe, but I didn't see any particular design heights being reached either in the creation of the print or the execution of the robe. A robe is a robe. 🌹I must admit I didn't get showing it over the shiny red jumpsuit. Anna's china doll look was ok, but I've seen it on PR a few times. Coral can really sew and fit clothes! lol Gigi said Katie's look was "craftsy". Ol' girl literally has a glue gun in her hand half the time btw, did you know Sabrina was from Afghanistan? 🙄 It's like she has some compulsion to repeat it over and over.
  9. We got off on a whole string of posts about those services where you can freeze frame and replay because many many people stated that less than a minute look on the runway was just not enough to take it all in. That's most important. Totally agree with that! One person reminded us that Zac Posen was practically always first up off his chair to start touching and checking out the garments when that used to be part of the show. 😊Now granted, the design aesthetic is most important as plenty of people can sew but coming up with truly fresh garments that people want to wear is artistry. That's a totally valid viewpoint if you don't think they should consider the quality of the sewing under those very short time constraints... just the overall look. However if they have time to ask the contestants about these hyped up, made for TV mini dramas in the workroom like we had in week 2, I for one stick by preferring to see everything related to fashion on PR over that BS. Then another consideration might be when there are two contenders for the winning look and one is beautifully sewn and one is tied, tucked or taped. Should the workmanship enter into the competition then? 🤔
  10. How many more episodes do we have to slog through? 1? 2? Not only is it a downer, I see nothing here that couldn't have been folded into a 90 minute movie. I kept thinking for sure Isaac was going home to confess IN THIS EPISODE! ... and Billy would get out of prison. but no, true to form this trash story is unfolding at a snail's pace. If this mishegas goes into a second season I'm not watching. I'm sure there's something more enjoyable I can do with an hour on Sundays. There are three movies so depressing they killed any desire in me to go out to see a movie: Ironweed, Barfly and Lorenzo' Oil. This may have done it for me as far as TV series go.
  11. I agree! We need longer looks at all of the designs in the competition. One thing that ticked me off last week with all that overly dramatic BS Kenneth feeling voiceless and humiliated as he'd never been before...🙄 was that it showed apparently they have the time! We're saving the time the hostess used to take up and the button bag model selection thing and all that. I felt badly for the safe designers excused from the runway whose design was shown for less than a minute. I'm sure they could have benefitted from some feedback from the judges, too. They're in this competition and they don't know at this point if they're going in the right direction or losing the interest of the judges more and more with each look they present. At least Aaron has gotten an atta boy or two. ...and I'll have to go back and listen to the comments about Chasity nearly being eliminated? In the color challenge? Damn, they have a nerve! Casey shouldn't have even been eliminated much less Chasity's design be on the chopping block. Meg's was much worse than either of theirs and we had a guy that didn't make anything! [Darren].
  12. So just to make it crystal clear in case anyone from Bravo or Project Runway reads here looking for feedback... Viewers here (lots of us) have indicated we wouldn't be bored seeing much more of what goes into creating the designs in the workroom and we'd like the judges to examine the workmanship of the garments close up. Those one minute or less looks at each design while it's on the runway are just not enough. The designer's name isn't even displayed the whole time! I really don't see how anyone can take in each contestant's look and remember what they liked about it, who made it, how the workmanship compared to the others, which ones they may have liked even more and whose should be in the bottom three. Especially when the field of contestants is so large. That's why we're discussing services where you can freeze frame and replay the runway! Many of us are on record here stating we'd prefer PR spend time on these elements rather than these little fake dramas and exploring everyone's feelings. please and thank you!
  13. Absolutely. I frequently hear one of the old judges or Nina in my head exclaiming "the taste level!" whilst clutching their pearls
  14. From the comments I'm reading about Bones' look (and you aren't alone...the judges put it in the bottom 3 after all), I have a feeling it's looking very different to me on a small TV. Maybe if I saw it on a 60" TV it would look different? The fabric he brought looked green in the work room but on the model and next to the bronze top it read kind of pewter-y to me. Between the model's awesome body, the way she walked the garment and Bones making it fit her like a glove it had an almost liquid quality on the runway. I could imagine it without the junky fringe and chains and a more subtle mask and it really working. Though by the time I saw it a couple of times I didn't mind the feather headdress. ...but then I may not know anything at all because I liked Octavio's (red mustache) look, and that thing is getting dragged to hell and back everywhere I went looking for photos of the designer's looks!
  15. I went to the Bravo website thinking that maybe with each designer's info they might show each look they create adding the current one every week? Nah... nobody over there thought that would be a good idea 🙄
  16. Who's going to go next? artsy craftsy Katie? p.s. how many of those oversized ruffly sailor collars does she have in her wardrobe, and will we ever see her sport another look? Darren, who really hopes one day to get a date? One of the 'S' girls, Sabrina? Shantal?
  17. Darren and Prajje's did appear Christmas red or at any rate a brighter red than I would choose for a gown. It didn't look to be a sophisticated red. Prajje's skirt portion had a slightly more fushia tinge than the top on my TV anyway... making the burgundy head covering a strange choice IMO. Red? On artsy craftsy Katie's frock? Oh damn... I didn't see that. (I'm watching on a small bdr TV). Ol' girl really can't help herself, can she?
  18. He's got to I wouldn't have given him this particular win over Chasity, but it could be argued foe ep 1 or 2. Aaron has to be one of the designers left in the finale, I'd think.
  19. Yes. It is in my area. I can never wait, though!
  20. I've been finding if I search You Tube just after the show airs I can find a video of the full episode someone has put up. They will usually get taken down in a few hours and then there will only be ones that try to lead you to click the link in the description box and watch somewhere else.
  21. You are not alone in that as I liked Coral's gown and I liked what Bones did. He just did too much. IMO it would have been a great look if he left off the chains and the metallic fringe. Even the crazy feathered headdress thing gas grown on me after looking at it a few more times. The sculptural element and liquid like shine set it apart from the others. I didn't think it should've been in the bottom, even as presented. Some that were excused as safe were contenders for bottom 3 IMO like Sabrina's pile of black ruffled lace, Darren's red gown's top half was rather odd looking to me as was Kristina's placement of shiny bits on the abdomen of her sleeveless black gown. Prajje's burgundy head covering with a red dress that already looked like 2 slightly different shades of red... I didn't get. Even artsy craftsy Katie had a little moment. I'm really liking Octavio's work. I'll bet he's one of one's left to put on a runway show in the finale.
  22. OK I'll calm down now, I found it on You Tube going to watch the runway before the video gets taken down
  23. I wish I could do that 🙂 Possibly because I don't have a DVR box?
  24. What is this BS with no repeat showing of Project Runway on Thursday night? How are we supposed to get another look at the runway? I can't even remember what Aaron sent down.😒
  25. The back of Bones look was a mess, judges are right. I do still like the bodice portion though.
