  1. I was confused during that seance scene. Did Mina catch Malcolm having sex with Vanessa, or did Vanessa catch Malcolm having sex with Mina?
  2. I really agree with this. Fuller has the essence of the stories, not the details, but the essence; and to me that's important. I felt that the ending was very interesting and I am surprised that it was shown on network TV. That last scene, when Hannibal and Bedelia are on the plane really got me. Hannibal gives Bedelia a pleased look and then he turns from her and the mask drops and we see the evil; or maybe we see regret. I expected Hannibal to kiss Will after he stabbed him. What floor did Alana fall from? How tall is Hannibal's home? Where was Abigail all this time?
  3. I watched Kristen and Josh and I think they are both wrong. To me, Kristen comes across like a spoiled princess. I wonder if she is aware that there are women, right in Manhattan who HAVE to do everything themselves because they don't have husbands at all? Or they have a husband who's unemployed and depressed? Doesn't Kristen have a nanny? If so, what does the nanny do? About 20 years ago I used to date a man who would say stuff to me like, "I'm showing up for the relationship; I want to spend time with you." What I he was really doing was using me and the relationship to avoid doing adult things like getting a job. However, Josh needs to understand that he and Kristen have a child who has special needs and needs more attention. I wonder if they ever talked about who would do what when they had children, probably not. I don't understand Ramona; on one hand she said that she doesn't need therapy, but on the other hand she told the women that she was triggered by being in the country. It sounds like she knows she has issues but doesn't want to seek therapy to deal with them. I didn't like Ramona's apology to Kristen, rather her non-apology, but Kristen came across spoiled; like no matter what Ramona did it wouldn't be enough for Kristen. Ramona agreed to meet her, gave her roses and still Kristen wanted more. Maybe that's why Josh feels the way he does, because nothing he does will ever be good enough for her, she'll always want more, more, more.
  4. I don't think I'll be watching anymore. To me, it looked like they preferred Joe because he was younger and attractive, or what they think we women think is attractive. Matt Graham may be fine, but when I saw his twelve pack abs, I thought, "yes, this is exactly what Discovery wanted." They wanted to get rid of Cody and put someone they think is "hotter" in that slot. Also Matt and Joe look too much alike to me. What's sad is that I used to watch Discovery all the time; now I rarely watch that channel at all.
  5. I won't be watching this show anymore. The producers fucked it up, and I can't stand Joe.
  6. I wasn't talking about Elliot when I mentioned above, I was speaking just in general. I thought both Elliot and Val were, at one point, seeing other people. I remember Elliot talking to Val and saying something to the effect that she was going with one of his friends. I think both of them leave a lot to be desired. Elliot's the douche but Val picked him.
  7. The more I see of these two, the more I fear for the children. Didn't Niecy Nash introduce Sherri to this clown?
  8. Well that's true but here's how it looks to me: Husband 2 files for divorce, and then suddenly Husband #1 pops up demanding custody, at the same time Husband #2 wants custody of his baby. To me it sounds like two sorry men who are trying to shake a woman down for money, not saying that's true, but that's what it looks like to me.
  9. I don't get why Elliot didn't go see his kids anyway, just because he got served. He got on the phone with one of his children and told them that it was because of their mother that he wasn't coming to see them. I didn't like that at all. Now, I have known some women who ask for child support and spend it on themselves, even if they have another boyfriend taking care of them and giving them money; but I don't know what this case it. Elliot should have just rolled down the window and said, "okay, got to get a lawyer," case closed. That said, I also don't get some of these wives. They marry fishermen and then get pissed off because they're gone all the time. I'm like, "honey, then don't marry a fisherman, he's not going to change for you."
  10. I don't think it's in a child's best interest to be with a man who not only cheated on his mother, but got a woman pregnant at the same time your mom was pregnant. What can he teach that child about how to be a man? Screw as many women as possible? Cheating is okay as long as you don't get caught? To me the best interest of the child means not being with someone of questionable moral character. Sherri's no saint but at least she didn't cheat on her husband or date a married man.
  11. With Jeffrey Sr, I'd be worried about STD's. No matter what Sherri does it's not worse than a man getting another woman pregnant while his wife is pregnant; that's all sorts of nasty and it reminds me of this story from 2007: I be concubining.
  12. What does Jeff Sr. do for a living? Is he with his wife? What about the son he has with his wife? If they're together, how does she feel about Jeff Jr. being there full time? Is it right to uproot the child right now? I don't know, a guy who's married and gets another woman pregnant at the same time that his wife is pregnant, sounds like a jerk to me and not the type of person I'd want to take care of a goldfish, much less a human being.
  13. Didn't Jeff Sr. cheat on Sherri with one of her friends, when Sherri was pregnant with Jeffrey? Yeah, that's great father material. He's just trying to get $$$ out of Sherri IMO, probably the woman he's with now is bleeding him dry and he's looking for an easy payday.
  14. I don't get the issue with grammar; this isn't an English class. I have never made a decision to like or dislike someone because of the way they speak...or is that spoke? Kindness matters more to me.
  15. I don't understand why they can't be brother and sister. On an earlier episode, Gabby showed a photograph of her grandparents. Her grandfather was very dark, while her grandmother was fairer skinned. So it's possible. I know black families where one child might be lighter or darker than another, it happens.
  16. I'm with you there; Robin bothers me. I have a feeling that he could easily become Joffrey 2.0. I say let's throw him out the moon door and see if that robin can fly.
  17. I was wondering how they were going to do the Mason face eating scene. In the book Just when I thought that show couldn't get more fucked up, it does! I was shocked that this was allowed to be on network TV with the censors and all but I think gore is allowable if it's in the dark or something. Also at the end, I don't get why Margot was still there. With her brother incapacitated, why not just leave? I think it had to do with the inheritance or something, that a woman couldn't inherit the fortune or something. Next week,
  18. Sonja came off desperate with that twenty year old, made herself look silly. You don't go after twenty year olds Sonja; THEY com after you. It's happened to me and I had to tell the kid, "nope, too young." I can't say I blame Ramona and Sonja for trying to look young. This is a society that worships youth and makes fun of middle aged women with stupid menopause jokes and shit, but never makes fun of men not being able to get it up after 45 without the help of a little blue pill. It's hard to buy clothes when you are a certain age as everything today is made for tweens, BUT both Ramona and Sonja have the means to buy clothes that'll flatter their bodies.
  19. First: I'm going through menopause myself, it's no joke. But I think what's wrong with Ramona is beyond menopause; and her hair probably looks better curly too. She kept screaming at Kristen that she got WET, as if getting Ramona wet will kill her; I mean what is she, the Wicked Witch of the West? I felt so bad for that poor kid that Sonja was trying to hit on; it was icky for so many reasons. For one, the kid was driving the boat, hence he was hired by Heather, meaning he could be considered "the help." It's not cool to hit on the help, because they're not sure if they even should turn you down. Sonja made herself look so insane, she asked if he was Catholic, then she asked if he was on Christian Mingle; then she said that she's tried Christian Mingle but was on Match.Com too much. WTF Sonja? The woman is a loon.
  20. In 16 days, "The Rules" will be a thing of the past.
  21. To me, Kenya seems like a woman lacking humility, not in the same way Nene's lacking humility though. IMO Kenya is a woman who doesn't get how much her looks have carried her, looks that she has because of DNA and not much else. She cries that everybody bullies her but in reality life accommodates attractive people; if she were unattractive she never would have won Miss USA, nor had the career she's had. Kenya needs to realize how attractive people get more in life and many times are treated better. I've never heard Kenya referred to as an animal, but Nene gets called a "moose" a lot of times. I am certain that if Nene looked like Kenya she wouldn't be called names. I did not like the way she made fun of Phaedra's body. If Kenya wants to make work out DVD's, she better realize that many women who purchase them have figures like Phaedra, meaning larger on the bottom, not straight up and down like Kenya. I think Kenya is a beautiful woman outside, but ugly inside, unlike Cynthia who I think is beautiful inside and out. To me, Cynthia gets that she's gotten where she is because of her looks. The fact that Kenya speaks well and is articulate does nothing for me. I have never disliked a person because of the way they speak. Now, I think Kenya is very intelligent, but she uses that intelligence to hurt others. I do think Nene was threatened by her. Nene isn't as intelligent as Kenya, nor is she as attractive. To me, Nene is one of those people who believes that if a person is vulnerable, or admits that they are wrong, that means they're weak. I know woman like Nene and it's hard being friends with them because to them, everything they do is right and they're never wrong.
  22. Yes, Kenya can't be a whore if she has imaginary boyfriends. But most folks that I know can't stand her for some reason; I don't think she's any better or worse than any of the other housewives; I think she's somewhat of a carpetbagger; I mean what's her connection to Atlanta if she lives in LA? To me that's the big elephant in the living room; what is her purpose on that show if she's not living in Atlanta? What I didn't like though were the nasty things Porsha said to her last season about her being "old and single." I thought that was nasty and unkind because people are single for all different reasons. I think that's why Kenya has been so cool to Porsha, because she remembers those nasty things the woman said about her. I don't know about Kenya being smart; smart people don't need scepters or bullhorns to make their point; and smart people really don't need to be nasty. I don't care how correct your grammar is, nasty is nasty.
  23. The only person who perpetrated fraud is Sal; he acted like a decent man and now he's showing himself to be a class a douchebag.
  24. I see your point but sometimes people get ganged up on for a reason. It's not always unjustified, it's not like Salem and Kenya is being tried as a witch. I can't be 100% behind Kandi because I can't get past her almost marrying AJ, a man with how many children by how many different women? Hopefully she learned from that mistake and vetted Todd.
  25. I need someone to explain the Kenya love to me, I don't get it. To me, she's as shady as the rest of them.
