  1. Too funny! Let this post be inscribed on gold in the Primetimer Hall of Fame! (quoting it bc it can't be read enough)
  2. She told the immigration attorney she & Andrew consulted that she told Mexican immigration that, though she was travelling on a tourist visa, she was actually going thru quarantine in Mexico so she could travel on to America. The immigration attorney pointed out that this admission of attempted immigration fraud may have been the problem & she shouldn't do it in Serbia. I don't know why the cast was so mystified. Also, all the, "let Andrew tell his side," nonsense when we had seen his abusive texts from the night before her flight to CA & we saw how he refrained from mentioning them in his non-explanation for why she didn't come. God, I hate Jovi.
  3. Real Reality said: A lot of people seem willing to rail against Americans who show up to other countries and won't adapt and respect the culture and norms of the country they are in. So if that's good for others that's just as good for Natalie. Many times Natalie has called Mike fat, ugly and stupid have been in the midst of a fight. So, to me, that's not some irresistible cultural urge, that is someone going for the jugular in a fight. I guess for me this show is full of Angelas & Danielles & Nicoles & the arsonist guy from Kentucky, so I assume bad behavior on the part of the Americans & usually they provide it. The Americans, dangling the green card, are in a position of power, they take full advantage of it in their different ways <shudder> Big Ed <shudder>, so they can be downright abusive, hyperbolic, just false in their accusations. Natalie may be rude -- & I've known a couple of Ukrainians & from those I will shamelessly & ugly-Americanly generalize about an entire country and say --> Ukrainians are direct. Besides, if she called Mike those names, she was at least factually correct.
  4. I'm pretty sure she "bought a poor family groceries" = letting Lamar's daughter eat food at that mess of a party ETA: remembered Lamar's name
  5. And if Momma Dee does leave a spite-will, I can see her leaving everything to Tiffany, "who has been the hard-working, successful daughter who made it on her own that I've always wanted" ETA: syntax
  6. I love that right after they showed Mother Brandon losing her head over her 27-yr-old son & his wife living on their own, they cut to live Father Brandon saying (yelling) something like, "They could move out any time they wanted." I think Yara felt okay going after Julia bc they're already friends. Julia said they talk a lot online & have bonded & that pic posted above bears that out. I think Yara was calling out a friend -- a bit roughly, but it's Yara -- on her shit. Julia didn't seem to take it as hostile. Love Gwen. Mike & his mom should marry each other. I could have done without seeing Rebecca's obnoxious daughter & her xenophobe boyfriend with the assertive eyebrows. What a waste of incel Andrew's beautiful, free-flowing locks if he really does leave. Imagine the time he spent washing the sweat out of his hair, brushing it lovingly, cooing to himself in the mirror about how irresistible he is. And to not stay after all that? What a tragic let-down. I'll bet his mom will have some things to say about how they treated her young prince!
  7. Right? I was yelling in my head, stop making Kody Brown a positive example! And his relentlessly calling Danielle "Sister" to desexualize her while he has his paws all over Roberta. And Danielle wearing her "Choose happiness" T-shirt like she's trying to desperately brainwash herself. That guy is such bad news. I was watching something on Democracy Now last night that said Mexico is one of the most dangerous countries on earth (for journalists, but details). If there's gonna be violence anyway, would it be so awful if Garrick just wandered into it?
  8. Thanks for posting this. It's nice to read some compassion. ETA: As someone who has had/has an eating disorder, reading these boards . . . . Some of you need to think twice. Would you be writing this shit about someone who had cancer? No wonder Theresa has so many fans here.
  9. Delores is there solely to enable Theresa. That's it. She brings nothing to the show, no story line, no emotional weight, nothing but her endless awards for her endless appearances which actually cost the charities money. But if Theresa is doing something ignorant or cruel, Delores is right there to soft soap it for the audience. And that, I think, is why Margaret was so angry at Jennifer at dinner. Jennifer & Theresa were going after Jackie like a pair of hyenas & they just wouldn't shut up with their wide-eyed "but what did we say?" mean girl shtick. It wd've infuriated me, too. Theresa is so played out. Every season the same pettiness, ignorance, vacuity, & cruelty. Can we just dump her felonious ass? ETA: Delores is also there to start trouble, as when she said to Frank, for absolutely no reason, "Evan's on his way & I think he's coming in hot." She's such a useless shit-stirring bitch.
  10. My partner said he looked like someone on his way to a mass shooting.
  11. No, didn't you hear? All-wise Ashley explained that it teaches them the important lesson that people come & go. To which I add, they'll grow up feeling like they can't depend on anyone. Brilliant parenting in Snowdeniana! Okay, so if Garrick realized he was called to polygamy by studying the Bible and seeing that "all of those people" had multiple wives, will he stop wearing blended fibers? Deuteronomy is a bitch. Queen #1 is so awful. Not a word of apology. She just scolded that poor child for being a bad maid/nanny/sex slave. And instead of saying, "we want you back, we'll change whatever we can," it's "you have to earn your way back." F you, Queen #1 w/your janky rugs. Try looking after your own house, kids, egomaniacal husband. It broke my heart when the younger woman said since she moved out she's gotten 2 jobs & feels so much better about herself. What would happen to those jobs & self-esteem if she moved back to the sex/chore prison?
  12. SO MUCH THIS! There's a couple on Seeking Sister Wife that's divorcing so they can apply for a K-1 for their Brazilian sister-wife, and they explain this act of immigration fraud ON CAMERA! Instead of deporting hardworking people who've lived here for years, why can't they deport Coltee & Andrew?
  13. I love the way David just takes in what Delores says so passively, nods, barely responds. I love watching it make her crazy. She's such a useless, egomaniacal, trivial person. She deserves to be f'ed around with. Frank's right, David is a shitty boyfriend & I love him for it.
  14. Is it just me or was the Snowden's explanation for last season's sacred marriage fail no explanation at all? Oh, I can't stand them. I notice the Snowden women have moved on from red Sharpie Bindis to gold circles. I'm sure Ashley has a fifteen-minute explanation why. Eyebrow woman is making really good life choices. I love how in the interview shots, when she's sitting next to her husband she keeps her face close to his, laughs with him about sleeping with the sister wife, just goes along with everything, la di da, ha ha ha. Then in her private interviews her face is blotchy & she's saying she might be left with nothing. As someone said, hasn't she learned anything from Meri Brown?
  15. I had to watch the first 30 seconds of that wedding-trip car ride through my fingers with my hands over my face. It was like a horror movie. Here's Yara's romantic wedding trip, just her & her loving groom, stuffed in the backseat with Jovi's dickhead friend driving to Vegas, with another two assholes sitting up front. In Yara's talking heads it looks like she's wearing a bad wig & it looked like she started wearing it in Vegas, too. I wonder if pregnancy came with serious hair loss for her. Another reason to feel like hell & not want to hang out with Non Jovi's obnoxious friends. Another week, another Andrew lie. Last week he told us that, mysteriously, she just didn't get on the plane, leaving out the small detail of the abusive texts. He has no redeeming qualities -- even though we only know this tiny aspect of his life, I feel confident in saying that. I can't believe Zied & Tarik are the season's most eligible bachelors but they really are looking mighty good in comparison to their cast mates.
  16. Jake creeps me out because he seems to display all the characteristics of an incel except he's sexually active. He's a "nice guy."
  17. Right, but most people are on honeymoons with people they're in love with. To quote Pastor Cal, "Our couples got married at first sight, so they'll . . . "
  18. So finally a pay-off for watching the Andrew/Amira story! Wow, he's even worse than I thought -- and I thought he was completely awful. Like you all have said, she did not say any of the things he claimed she said. He was totally setting himself up as some sort of martyr ("Oh, I guess kids might not be in my future <sigh>). But he also seemed to be enraging himself, getting angrier as he kept making what she said further & further from the truth. He's a scary guy. How dare TLC not give me my farm folk. I know they rotate but I need my farm folk.
  19. You all are killing it, mentioning every ridiculous thing about the ridiculous episode. Here's my contribution: When Matt & Bri were "camping in the woods" you could see cars going by behind Bri & behind Matt when they were facing each other at the fire, so they were closely surrounded by road on at least two sides. Wow, really roughing it out there on that "hike." When pig Matt sent Bri home & walked her to the car he had his arm around her & his gross hand on her ass. Then as she got into the car he put his hand on her ass again. God, he's disgusting. The show isn't even trying to keep it suspenseful with the fireworks for Racist's -- I mean Rachel's date. Good, they deserve each other.
  20. Of course she made it up. She said she made it up. She said, "Okay, what if I say, Gia . . . " She was positing a hypothetical. The whole point was, what if I make up something & claim it's a rumor about an adult cast member you love. I don't know why everyone is getting so furious and how anyone can misunderstand what was a pretty clear point.
  21. I don't think we ever saw Kody favor Christine when they lived in Utah. She was pretty much the scullery maid & child minder. And you can want something but when you get it people make it so miserable that it's not what you wanted at all. Just bc you want something, doesn't mean you should be punished with whatever crap version of it someone gives you. I want a car. Should I accept an engine block & 4 tires if someone calls it a car?
  22. Harris on preview for next week: I love you Me: Go, Harris! No more fieldwork for you!
  23. I got the feeling he was kinda the golden child, working the same job his father did, apple of mom's eye, can do no wrong from what we've seen. He seems more like a spoiled brat than someone trying to catch up from behind.
  24. Brandon's contempt for his mother has leeched into his feelings about women in general. The way he talked to Julia in the back of the church was so obnoxious & absolutely unacceptable. Is it possible I hate him even more than his parents? Rebecca at this point seems to be being a bitch just for the sake of being a bitch. Is she actually trying to tell us Zied never mentioned Ramadan to her? Why should he have to? It's a global f'ing holiday, you idiot! If she doesn't know things about it & is marrying her second Muslim husband, that's on her. I'm done w/stupid Amira & stupider sweaty Andrew. FF for now on. I feel so sad for poor, depressed Hazel. She seems so lost.
