I thought the same exact thing. Somehow I doubt this will happen, especially now with the strikes. I can see these storylines lasting through to next spring/summer honestly. I thought so too, but I was enjoying them and kind of liked the idea of more Betty vs. Ava.

A lot of kids probably watched the cartoon before they had seen or even heard of the movie. Also, yeah, it's a forced marriage, but it was a fantasy/comedy film. It's an easy hand wave for me, especially if the characters continue on in cartoon form. Children particularly won't really care.

Gladys is terrible but I like how shameless she is and enjoy watching the character sink lower and lower. Alcoholic Taggert? Hopefully this won't be some excuse to make him look bad in order to push Trina closer to Curtis. Not to sound ageist or anything, but I love how this new Molly is like 15 years older than the last two, 10 years older than TJ, and a few years older than nuKristina to boot. With her new irrational personality and unpredictable behavior, it's honestly all very entertaining to me and I can't wait to see what the writers will try and pull with the character next lol.

Just in case there's any confusion, YouTube TV and YouTube are two different things. One is a subscription service for live television, and the other is for uploaded video sharing by users. You may have to switch the audio settings on your television or on your streaming device. Maybe something like switching from Dolby Surround to PCM, or vice versa. Just a possibility.

How shitty would it look if the guy dating the Black woman leaves her for the white woman who drugged and framed her? Cannot wait. You don't have to be 100% anti-Black to be anti-Black. They can roll out as many interracial couples as they want to, but if the show is just going to end up tanking them over and over again then there might be a problem.

I hope that they would have just had him be Ducard and avoid any more white European Ras al Ghuls. Plus I think it would have been lame to copy the Nolan films again.

Yeah, that's not what the synopsis says, like at all. Also, as if any of these R rated Sony villains would ever be seen going up against a Tom Holland Spidey.

Nah I bet she returns someday. Especially if things go well for her in court and she gets her act together. Might not be for a while though.

That's not really a bad conclusion to make in my view. After such a failed outing, I think it's only sensible to lay off any Flash related projects for the foreseeable future, *especially* involving Barry Allen. It's too bad for Flash fans, but the audiences spoke clearly. This isn't an unreasonable decision to me. Batman/Superman are the heavy hitters of DC, with a proven track record. Flash as a character just can't compare. You can risk overexposure for the big shots, but with Flash it seems smarter just to let it go. Especially with so many other DC characters that are waiting to be adapted.

The same way the Venom movies worked. If the first one is successful enough then just keep making more of them.

By the way if it wasn't already mentioned, the character's name is spelled N'neka. She was named after N'neka Garland, a producer on the show who recently passed away in March.

Absolutely nothing in those articles you posted indicates any kind of anti-Semitism. Only one poorly conceived suggestion by an Israeli journalist that alludes to Jewish exclusion from casting. Far from "pure anti-Semitism". Also, it is very destructive and misguided to falsely equate antisemitism with support for Palestinians.

Somehow I doubt this. Who is "they"? Apparently it is to Jada.

Choices and intentional acts can be mistakes. They are not mutually exclusive. Haley made a choice to drive drunk, and that choice was a mistake. All the more reason for Nancy to ask for it, in my view.

Oh, didn't know this. I kinda figured they would be unable to resist. Same. I'm really glad they added her and hope to see more of her organization.

I wish I could say that I'm surprised by this turn of events, but I'm not. From what little I've seen of HP's social media over the years, her personality comes off like she might be the type to have a little trouble. But more than that, it's her last few appearances on GH that gave me pause. She looked like someone that was partying way too hard or worse, especially in the face. I wasn't expecting anything this horrific though. She is very lucky to be alive, and hopefully the other driver pulls through. (As for the situation with the firefighter, I can't say that I blame her for that one, especially when she was clearly under the influence.) I wonder if she and Tajh Bellow are still together? Hopefully she gets some treatment, and hopefully the show will allow her to return someday.

They could definitely do a reunion series with limited episodes or a movie. Their age isn't too big a factor. It's just a matter of finding the right story, but it could be done. They could also go the animation route as well.

That's really what they *should* do, but sad they probably won't... It will be odd seeing a recast Kristina together with a temp Molly.
-
It was probably a mistake for Pinkett to even include Cleopatra to begin with. She claims that she wants to represent Black women with the series, and yet chooses a Greek ruler from colonized Egypt?

Has there been any word on the reasoning behind the interracial casting? Like why there are Black parents with white children and vice versa? Is this suppose to be like a Bridgerton-type thing or something? (I don't follow that genre).

Batman: The Animated Series - General Discussion
Tenshinhan replied to GHScorpiosRule's topic in Batman: The Animated Series
Children being superheroes and crime-fighters is all a part of comic book fantasy, so it doesn't really bother me personally. I guess this series at least sidesteps the problem by having Robin be college aged. -

I enjoy the second opening, especially with the classic Walker theme playing. Yeah it might be less original than the first opening, but it really captures the spirit of Batman well. It's also nice when the show steps out of the Elfman/Burton shadow. I think this series was at its best when they did their own thing and weren't following the Tim Burton films. -

I think it aligns well with the Batman comics. Not every criminal is a supervillain like the others. For some it's just a gimmick and not much more. Given the Trio's backstory I think it makes sense for the characters. One thing I appreciate about the Animated Series is that they used stories from all throughout the different eras of Batman comics. You get episodes of silly camp right alongside the serious and dramatic stories. This was especially important for a children's cartoon show. -
If Victor is suppose to be Ras al-Ghul in this storyline then I guess that means Spencer is the Batman. I wonder just how much longer this Dex/Michael thing will keep going. November sweeps? Or will they just drop it altogether and have Michael forgive Sonny?

Batman: The Animated Series - General Discussion

I think that not every Batman villain needed to be given layers. Some characters are just greedy, sick, or love crime. I'm not sure why they even bothered giving Mr. Freeze layers, but I guess someone behind the scenes must have really liked the character.
