Those poor kids, I feel bad for them having to move every damn year. Kids need stability, they need a sense of home. How can they feel any place is their safe home when they move so much? She's a terrible mother.

Amber: A Rill Woman Goes to Gel
Maharincess replied to David T. Cole's topic in Teen Mom: The Next Chapter
I've been trying really, really hard to think of a situation that Amber has acted "mature" about and I can't come up with a damn thing. I've never seen her be mature about anything. Ever.Welcome Jell Bird! I too love your name. Classy Court Heels is another great name, I laugh every time I see it. -
That link just takes me back to this page.

Pet Peeves: Aka Things That Make You Go "Gah!"
Maharincess replied to Betweenyouandme's topic in Everything Else
There are a couple of shows that I watch that I hate and I honestly don't know why I watch them. One of them pisses me off and raises my blood pressure but still I watch. I really don't know why. Now I want to know who ABay has on ignore. I guess if they don't respond to this, I'll know that it's me. Ha-ha. Hi ABay! -
"Who is the celebrity" is now my favorite line I've ever heard. I loved how the guy had no clue who the hell she was.

Flowers And Bushes And Trees: How Does Your Garden Grow?
Maharincess replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Everything Else
Delurker, I just asked about that in another thread. I've heard you can do that with green onions but I've tried a bunch of times and they never grew. Keep us posted on how it comes out. I'm trying to decide what kind of garden, if any I want to do this year. I just did a couple of tomato plants in buckets last year. I'm glad I didn't attempt to do a big garden because of our water restrictions. I know I want to do tomatoes, they're so easy and I love fresh tomatoes. I'm not sure what else. I'm going to use buckets again this year, they're so much easier for me to water and take care of so I know a lot of big stuff is out but I may do some peppers too. What other vegetables are easy to grow in buckets? I use 5 gallon paint buckets and drill holes in the bottom, they work great and are so much cheaper than planters of that size. -
I agree Sandman, I always put my fingers in the cages and the ones who come up and rub on my fingers get a second look. I did adopt one a long time ago that didn't come up to me, I adopted her because she was the damn butt ugliest cat I have ever seen. She was what my grandma would call so ugly she was cute. She had big bug crossed eyes and huge ears and she was a skinny bony old thing. People walked by her cage and said "ew", I thought she was cool. She was so ugly I had to have her. She ended up being a great cat. I always just know when its the right one. You will too. Congratulations on getting pets!! I'm so happy for you and your family. Your kids will get so many benefits from having pets. I'm excited for you.

Since he isn't her parent, its not his place to even think of something like that. It's not his concern whether she's five or seven feet tall because he's not her dad! It's disgusting that they think they'd be doing such a great job with Carly when they can't be bothered with the baby that's right in front of them.

Pet Peeves: Aka Things That Make You Go "Gah!"
Maharincess replied to Betweenyouandme's topic in Everything Else
I think stay at home moms play up their role because let's be honest, a lot of people look down on them and think they do nothing and that they have it made. People also think they're lazy and don't want to work. I was both a stay at home mom and a single working mom, I was looked down on because I preffered to stay home with my kids. I was lucky to be able to make that choice. Working moms thought I was wrong and stay at home moms thought I was doing the right thing. I was never looked down on as a working mom but when I would say I was a stay at home mom, 9 times out of 10 I would hear "you don't work?" said in a condescending tone. I kind of see that attitude right here. After hearing that a million times, I built up a defense by saying that as a matter of fact, I do work and I would list the things I did in an average day. When stay at home moms say things like that, I don't think they're saying that working moms don't do those things, they're just pointing out that they do work, just not outside the home. Nobody is implying that working mothers don't do the things that stay at home moms do, I don't know where that comes from. Having done both, I can say that both are tough. But being looked down on and being belittled for "not working" gets old and you build up a defense. Stay at home moms don't get a lot of respect. -
I so agree with all of this. These girls are missing so much, Cate should be grateful that she's able to stay home with Nova while she's so young, I know so many moms who would have given anything to have that opportunity. These years go by so fast, they'll be grown before they know it. If they're not going to work outside the home, I don't understand why they're not spending as much time as they can with their baby. There will come a time when they will HAVE to work outside the home and be away from their kids. If I were them I'd be with my baby every minute until the time comes that I have to go work. To me, them squandering this time is so much worse than the money they squander. I had both of my kids before my 20th birthday and even that young I knew how important it was to spend as much time with them as I could. The years go by so fast, you blink your eyes and they're grown. I can't believe that Tyler is so arrogant that he thinks that even after watching all of this shit that Carly will run to them the minute she turns 18 and move into the Carly room. She'll watch this and be so damn happy that they didn't raise her. I wouldn't be surprised if she wants nothing to do with them when she gets older.

So the line reminding us that Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian were at the funeral was necessary? It wasn't to me. Everybody who knows anything about this case knows that Robert K. was involved, but we didn't need the reminder about the daughters. May not make sense to you but it makes perfect sense to me and it is also my opinion.
-
I thought I was in for the long haul with this until the funeral scene and I heard the completely unnecessary "Kourtney, Khloe stop running" from the Evil Kris Jenner character and I was out. There was absolutely no reason for that line to be in there. This is the story about the murder of 2 human beings, why the hell did they have to add that stupid line about that disgusting family? When David Schwimmer kept yelling "AC is here!! AC is here!". All I heard was "pivot pivot".

Pet Peeves: Aka Things That Make You Go "Gah!"
Maharincess replied to Betweenyouandme's topic in Everything Else
Huge pet peeve of today is people that invite themselves over and then don't show up. Don't tell me that you're on your way when you live 10 minutes away and an hour later you still aren't here! Why do people so stuff like that?! If I'm expected by somebody and I'm either going to be late or can't make it, I call them to let them know. I'd feel like an asshole otherwise. Oh well. She's now over an hour late, I turned off all of the downstairs lights and came upstairs to watch a movie with my animals. If she shows up, I'm not answering the door. -
The Wendy Williams Show - General Discussion
Maharincess replied to David T. Cole's topic in The Wendy Williams Show
I still look at her sometimes and wonder if she really is biologically female. It's funny that she was completely isolated during her pregnancy and there are no pregnant pictures of her anywhere. I know, she is a woman, but sometimes I still wonder. She really does have a lot of nerve talking shit about anybody's relationship. I'd feel like an asshole talking about other people's relationships knowing that the world knows how bad mine is. I can't stand Cesar Milan. -
I agree. I didn't see or hear anything that I consider R Rated or anything like that at all. It's meant to be a sexy type of show. If people don't want to see that type of thing, there are a shit load of other shows to watch.

Amber: A Rill Woman Goes to Gel
Maharincess replied to David T. Cole's topic in Teen Mom: The Next Chapter
I don't think Amber wants the responsibility of more kids, she might have to actually raise the next one, she wouldn't want to do that. -
On my rewatch on Hulu, I just saw the episode where she and Jeremy get engaged and she finds out she's pregnant. When she's telling her sister she took out her birth control she says she wants at least 5 kids. I'm really surprised she's not pregnant again.

The guy who played Jackie's husband Fred on Roseanne was my best friend's sister's boyfriend in high school. And my nephew's kindergarten teacher was Pat Benatar's sister in law. Yeah, nothing to do with 90210 but that's all I got. I do love the podcasts and reading all of the comments. You're my late night insomnia reading.

The After Show was pretty funny, they played a game to see how well they knew their men. All they had to do was ask Amber how many kids her man had and she would have lost. When is the After Show filmed? Amber was acting like she still didn't know how many kids the old leech has.
