Am I the only one who is creeped out when Debra calls Farrah "baby"? It just sounds creepy as hell to me. Why does Farrah think watching her demon is some prize that people have to be worthy of? If I were her parents I would have told her to fuck off and find somebody else to watch the kid (for free) while she's on her"business trip to the UK". Did Kim really call Nova "it"? She said something like "you don't have the baby as much as you should have it". Does anybody on this show know proper grammar? The incorrect usage of doesn't/don't and the double negatives from everybody drives me crazy. Edited to say that I think Gary did the right thing in regards to Amber. He consulted his attorney first to see how he should handle it and from what the attorney said, Gary has said good things to her about Amber. She mentioned that Gary had said Amber was doing well and that Leah enjoyed her time with Amber. Gary also looked genuinely concerned when he was speaking to his lawyer.

I'm happy they're settling in now Daisy. Leia sounds like a handful but you seem to have a good handle on it. With some patience I'm sure she'll settle down. It kind of sounds like they didn't have anything that was their own in their previous life, that may be where the guarding of "her" stuff comes in. My Kaylee is the same in some ways. She had nothing of her own. We live on a few acres and there's a small fenced section right off the house, that's where she goes to do her bathroom business and to lie in the sunshine. If anybody, human or animal gets anywhere near her fence she goes crazy. She doesn't care if they come on to other parts of the property or even in the house, but do not get near her fence or she'll bark her head off.

The rescue I used is pretty thorough too, I had done some pro bono grooming for the foster dogs so they knew me really well by the time I was ready to adopt but they still checked with my vet and things like that. I'm glad they do that, some of these dogs have been through hell so I'm happy they aren't going to be sent into another bad situation. I would really like to foster for the rescue but my Border Collie isn't crazy about other dogs. She does fine with small dogs but she's aggressive with bigger dogs so no fostering for me.

Even if that Dues guy is out of the house it doesn't matter, she'll have another one moved in in no time. I'm still doing my rewatch and I'm up to where she met Jeremy. I'd forgotten how fast she moved him in and how she was making the girls tell him they love him when they hardly knew him. Her divorce was barely final and she had already moved in with Jeremy. I hope her poor choices with men don't ever put those girls in harm's way.

If you go through a rescue they can match you up with a dog that will fit your lifestyle. Not every dog in rescue is traumatized and they can match you up with the perfect dog. It's good to not rush into it, take your time and you'll know when its right. Do you have a specific breed in mind? I'm partial to Border Collies so I went through the local BC rescue. There are also plenty of mutt rescues. One thing I will advise you on is that if you have young kids in the house, I wouldn't go with a traumatized, abused dog the first time out. Most dog bites are fear bites and a terrified dog and a young, loud kid aren't the best combination. There are some great rescue, puppy, kitten, cat stories and pictures here.

Rescue is the best. Truelovekiss, I'm so happy to hear that you want to rescue! I don't know if you found Kaylee's story a few pages back, it was a full year before she trusted us. I agree with harrie and bosawks, patience and love will always work. Just be patient and gentle and you'll be highly rewarded. Watching my girl come out of her shell and blossom was one of the best experiences of my life. I don't know how to post pictures but harrie posted some of Kaylee a few pages back for me. She's my angel girl. Keep us posted!

I agree with you all. He was full of crap about her calling him daddy. It's funny how that kind of thing is never witnessed by anybody.

I'm sorry. Just know that for the 3 years since I've adopted her, she's blossomed into a very happy, confident dog who loves everybody she meets. She's very pampered and very, very loved. If you're interested, I wrote Kaylee's story in the Pet section of the "Everything Else" forum. I think hell is too good for animal abusers.

These parents are horrible. What ever happened to "yay, you got 7 right, good job"? I feel so bad for these kids. Especially Chance with his pushy mom and Sam, their parents are awful. I'm glad Chance has a dad that knows that fun is important too. Some of these parents are border line abusive with some of their comments to these kids.

She seems really snobby to me. She seems like the kind of woman who looks down on other women for not wearing the "right" shoes or cheap clothing or whatever. I've just always gotten a snooty vibe from her.

Anybody who abuses animals is a punk ass bitch. I write this as my beautiful Border Collie Kaylee lies next to me, the beautiful girl with no teeth because they were all kicked out, and with scars from cigarette burns all over her stomach. She's a pampered, much loved spoiled rotten princess now. So yeah, I loathe animal abusers.

Wow, after reading Elizabeth9's comment, I went to the Facebook page for this show, I had to leave fast. It's sad that there is so much stupidity in the world. People talking about how hard Amber is working on her addiction and how horrible Theresa and Brandon are for butting in when they danced with Carly. I had my fingers on the keyboard to respond but had to just leave instead. You can't reason with stupid.

Christina seems like a snob to me. I'm sick of "ew, that's disgusting" in every single episode. She also uses the word tons way too often and improperly, there's always tons of light, tons of storage, tons of space, once there were tons of feedback on a house. That's one of my biggest pet peeves, to me its like saying that I have gallons of storage or pounds of light in my house. Shows like this are interesting so I don't understand why this show has ao much repetitive, fake scripted nonsense in every single episode. These people are not actors and that shows in every fake scene. The show isn't bad but in my opinion would be so much better without the obvious fakeness. I do laugh when they show Tarek and Christina fake working though.

Exactly. After most of the clips, she'd give some lame excuse then say "that's not an excuse, but...". Her treatment of the guy at that jump thing was despicable and her excuse was that she was scared. Screw her. Book elitist, I firmly believe that she sought out ways to have multiples. She read about all of the free stuff that the family who had 7 babies (Mcoy?) got and she wanted that. I remember reading that she was reaching out to TV stations trying to sell the kids before they were even born. I don't think her getting pregnant with 6 babies was a surprise to her at all. She knew exactly what she was doing. I also agree that I'd love to see some gratitude for the health of all of her kids. Tomorrow marks 4 years since my daughter's life long best friend lost her son, he passed away on January 28th, he would have turned 2 the following month. I've been looking at pictures and videos of him all day so your comment about her never showing joy over the good health of her kids really hit home for me today.

I've been both physically and emotionally abused. The concept that it's only abuse if it gets physical really REALLY upsets me. My bruises and broken bones have all healed but I can still hear those words all these years later. You don't have to have the crap beat out of you to be abused. There were times I would beg my ex husband to stop talking and hit me instead because being hit hurt a lot less.

My friend kind of did this. She got pregnant and she placed the baby up for adoption. A couple years later, same thing happened and she placed the second baby with the couple who adopted her first baby. She just said she wasn't cut out to be a mom so her 2 sons were placed in the same family. 2 years later she meets a single dad with 2 young boys and ends up raising his boys. Everybody is grown now and her biological sons are really resentful of the fact that she gave them up and then raised 2 other boys. It's not the same as what you referred to but it popped into my head when I read your comment.

I saw the info for the new episode and figured I'd give it a shot, I thought maybe she'd show some remorse for some of the things she's done to her kids. First clip was the gum on Colin's bear, Colin is standing there crying about his bear and in the present day clip, Kate is talking about how bad she felt for JOEL?! What the hell? Then her mocking the boys with the "oh did I poop?" in a dumb voice, I was done. She's wretched. She's always been wretched and always will be, she's just gotten better at hiding it.

I don't blame them for not wanting Carly to meet Butch but I don't understand why April was OK. April did everything Butch did except go to prison, and that was probably just pure luck. She was so horrible to Catelynn, I'll never forget when they went shopping for prom dresses and April was emotionally battering Catelynn all damn day. She did it on many occasions but that one really stuck out in my mind and poor Cate just sat there and took it like it was normal. I wouldn't want that abusive bitch around my goldfish, let alone my child. I can't stand either Butch or April. They need to run off into the sunset and stop using their kids.
