You guys convinced me that the Casting thing was so bad that I need to watch it. Wow, it was bad. What was the point of the whole thing? It made no sense, they showed a full minute of one of the "actors" sitting in a chair with his eyes closed then another one is talking about her dad sticking an ax in her scull. It also sent me down a true crime Netflix rabbit hole. I'm currently watching the Amanda Knox documentary. I hadn't read much about her case and I'm now ordering books on Kindle. Anybody want to talk about that case enough that I should start a thread or no?

I'm 51 and a few months ago I ended a friendship that started the summer before we started kindergarten. She just turned into a bitter, miserable bitch who tried her damnedest to make everyone around her as miserable as she is. Anything I ever told her about me or my family was always used against us at a later time. Any time I said anything about anybody she would run to that person and tell them what I said but she always twisted it so it sounded like I said so much worse than what I actually said. People kept asking why I didn't dump her ass but it was hard because we had so much history. All of my childhood memories were with her. I finally had enough of her being a total asshole and then turning it around and it being my fault. I even changed my phone number so she can't text and harass me anymore. Like you Pradakitty, this has been the most peaceful summer of my life. Sorry for being so off topic, I can just totally relate.

I don't think him not wanting to be on this shit show means he has something to hide. That's like saying anybody who doesn't want to be on a reality show is hiding something. Thankfully not everyone is a fame whore. I for one am kind of proud of him for turning the show down. I would never want to be on a reality or any other kind of show. Not because I'm hiding anything, I just have no desire to be on TV. As far as him getting involved with a reality TV person is that Karl isn't world famous. I could show her picture to every person I know and the only one who would know who she is is my daughter. None of the men I know would have any clue who she is.

How the hell does one do an online book signing. I hope nobody is waiting with bated breath.

From what I remember, Terra didn't even say they were protesting until Joe brought it up (yelled it from the sidelines). So I agree they're both full of shit. I've never seen a protest where people smile and take photos at the event/people they're protesting.

I hate the COLLEGE COLLEGE COLLEGE mindset. People seem to think you can't have a fulfilled, successful life without college. I know people with college degrees who work as waiters and hostesses. I know people who work trades who make great money and have had long lasting careers. Who's to say that all 8 kids, or even 1 of them will want to go to college? Neither of my kids went to college yet they both have great jobs and they each bought their first homes before they were 28. Too many people push college and I just don't think its necessary for everybody. The average age of today's trade worker is 56, where will all these people who push college be when the trade workers retire and they need work done? Sorry for the rant but I just hate the "all kids must go to college to be successful" mindset.

This show makes me so happy. I didn't even know it was coming back until I saw two new episodes show up on my DVR. I love Josh, he has the best personality and sense of humor, he's exactly the kind of guy I've always liked. I have never cared what a guy looks like, if he can make me laugh, I'm all in. I hope he continues to do well in recovery.

Unchained Melody is a favorite of mine. My parents loved The Righteous Brothers so I went to about 7 of their concerts during my childhood. All of the other kids that were dragged there by their parents looked miserable while I was standing in my seat singing along.

I think of Jethro Bodean when I hear his name so I call him Jethro.

I never broke out when I was a teenager but the past three months I've had horrible acne break outs. My peeve is assholes who quote a poster, cross out what the poster wrote, writes something different and then says "I fixed it for you". No you arrogant jerk, you didn't fix it for them. You changed their opinion into yours and thats beyond arrogant. Its my biggest peeve these days. If somebody wanted it written your way, it would have been that way from the start. Why do people do that? It just makes them look like a jerk.

Do we know for sure that it was Jason who was logged in to the iPad? Could it have been Hannah who was logged in to her account?

I want to like this show but its hard for me to get past how fake it is. None of the finished tattoos they show are fresh like they pretend they are, they are all completely healed . They'll show an artist holding the tattoo gun to a half done tattoo that has no blood or irritation, as a tattoo is being done, there is smeared ink, blood and other stuff that they never show. I can suspend reality for some shows but my late husband was a tattoo artist and we owned a shop so I just can't get past the fake crap. And yet, I still watch. I am glad that Tri Cities is gone.

We have a big concert venue in my city and the meetings I go to host a HUUUGE rock star who comes to the meetings when the band is in town. This is a man who's name, face and band are household names and he's been a big star since the 70s. He had no problems coming to our meetings and sharing. Nobody bothers him or tells anybody that he's there. He's been very open and honest about his addictions but I still don't feel right saying his name. Amber is full of shit.

Until about a month or so ago, I thought a meme was pronounced "Mimi" and if you asked me what one was, I'd probably say "a moving picture kind of thing". My husband is a smart, hard working man who has worked in the same industry for over 30 years. He wouldn't know how to turn on a computer/tablet or check an email or anything else that has to do with the Internet. He simply has no interest, every once in a while he'll ask me to Google something but other than that he hates everything about the Internet. I just don't think its so far fetched that some people don't know these things and just don't care to learn about them. What's wrong with being barefoot? Edited to say that I also have no idea what the hell dabbing is. I use a dab of toothpaste or a dab of butter, other than that, no clue. And don't care.
