My daughter had her tubes tied after having 2 kids so they wouldn't have any accidents. They knew that 2 kids is what they could comfortably afford and still have a nice life with money for extras. They knew that 2 would be what they could afford health insurance wise. They both would have liked to have more kids but they were realistic about it. They didn't want to have to rely on anybody but themselves in raising their kids. Just to make sure there really were no accidents, my son in law got snipped too. Bilgistic, shit like that makes me so mad. I've had friends who have been in the same position as you and it sucks. They've been told "well we could help you with this program but you need kids for that one" and different variations. Unless you have kids and go with one of the family plans, you're basically screwed. I'm really sorry that its happening to you.

Yes, I preordered it a couple of weeks ago. It's so much cheaper than buying it in a store. I reread a lot of books so I prefer to buy them. If I have some I don't want to read again I donate them.

I hate the Swiffer "deep couch sitting" commercial. The guy says his kid always has friends over and is always running around playing so he can't do any deep couch sitting. He gets the Swiffer and can now deep couch sit. Does the kid not have friends over anymore? Does he not run and play now that they have a Swiffer? Am I missing something?

I think she just reads gossip sites and repeats what she reads. It's obvious that no research goes into any of her stories. She gets names, facts and everything else wrong. At this point I look at this show as more like an unfunny sitcom that should have been cancelled years ago. How has this show been on for ao long? It's funny to me how there seems to be only a page of comments here per season. Other talk shows get pages and pages of each episode. I have said it before but the putting of "ation" at the ends of words is so annoying. She seems to think it's cute or funny but its so not. She called a murder a "killation" on one show. Every time she says it she always pauses before saying the next word like she's waiting for laughter. This is my hate watch show. I hate this woman but I still watch.

Something like the toothbrush wouldn't be so bad, I don't think so anyway. One of the business cards my grandkids got was stapled to a treat bag with candy in it, the other 2 were just dropped in their bags. I think it's tacky as hell.

My daughter told me that my grandkids got 3 business cards in their Halloween bags. 2 from Realtors and one for a housecleaning service. Is it just me or is that tacky?

Katie, honey, getting a ring because of an ultimatum may make you engaged but it also makes you pathetic as hell. I'm surprised she hasn't had an "accidental" pregnancy to try to get that ring. I've been reading about this shit all day, I can't stop, its just so creepy and fascinating. In all of the many stories, articles and interviews I've read on the subject I've come to one conclusion. Basically anybody who says anything bad about scientology is a big, fat liar. It doesn't matter that more people seem to come out every day with the same stories...they're all liars. These people are unbelievable.

I always gave out the lunch sized bags of chips, the kids LOVED them. I offered candy too but most of the kids took the chips.

I can't wait for her book. I already ordered it and I check my Kindle every day hoping it was downloaded early. It'll probably show up on the Kindle Monday at midnight. I never knew Leah was a scientologist until I watched her wedding and birth shows on VH1 years ago. During her delivery it was totally silent. Nobody, not the Drs, nurses, Leah or her husband said anything during the entire delivery. Thinking that was really weird, I researched and found out its a scientology thing called silent birth. Wings had an interesting point about Cruise, Travolta and Kirsty Alley all joining as adults. I had never thought of it that way. They didn't go through the same things as Leah and her sisters. I wonder if Kirsty's kids are involved. I said this on Leah's Facebook today, I don't know if I could have forgiven my mom if she had gotten me involved in something like that as a child. Her mom is lucky, I don't know if I could forgive her. If I were Leah I'd be thinking that I loved my daughter enough to get her out when she was young...why didn't you? Do what you want but leave innocent kids out of it. Just my opinion.

Thank you! I've never heard of Kate being a nickname for Katie, its usually the other way around. I'm sticking with Creepy and controlling. It sounds to me like she had to get away. So Katie and her dad knew Tom was so bad that she had to have a prenup that filled 5 boxes but she married him anyway? I don't understand that. If she was already seeing red flags, why marry the guy?

I think sites like this have a lot to do with them coming back to TV. The Duggar thread gets a lot of action here, probably more than any other thread. I'm sure they have people monitoring places like this, they see thousands of comments daily and that tells them that people are still interested. They don't care why we watch as long as we watch.

I didn't know that Nicole Kidman doesn't have a relationship with her kids with Cruise. I'm assuming the kids are in the "church". The poster was speaking of Leah's husband Angelo.

MajorWoody, I thought the same thing about Mr. Ego trying to cheat his team mates out of their share of the winnings. The way he kept saying HE was going to win 50 thousand rubbed me the wrong way.
