I've thought that for a long time. I think it's something that's been planned for a while now. I'd he did run to Italy, are they under any obligation to send him back?(For the life of me I can't think of the right word). Would they have to send him back to do his jail time here?

She's had some guests I've never heard of and some that made me wonder why they're on because they haven't done anything in years.

Before my accident I did yoga for many years, I live in the boonies so I would hike the hills with my dogs, I loved gardening, yard work and anything that could be done outside. I can't do most of those things anymore so I've found different hobbies. I'm an avid reader and read at least a book a week but probably more than that. I've loved reading ever since I learned how. I prefer real books but its hard for me to shop so I love my Kindle. It's become my best friend. I love cooking and baking. I used to always complain that our cooktop and wall ovens were way too low, now they're the perfect height for my wheelchair. I've discovered that I love to write so I've been writing a lot. Writing also helps me get my frustrations about my situation out, It's great to vent on paper. My gardening now consists mainly of houseplants, I've converted a wall with a huge window in the living room into a plant wall. I put shelves in front of the window and over the past couple of years have filled them with so many plants that the shelves are barely visible anymore. People always gasp when they walk in and see my living wall. My son made me a watering can with a long flexible nozzle so I can water the high ones. I also have other plants all over the house. I've also gotten back into crocheting. I taught myself when I was a teenager but hadn't done it in a while. I make blankets and hats for the women's shelter and a program at the county hospital and I'm about halfway done with a full sized bed blanket for my granddaughter. It's a bigger, more grown up version if the baby blanket I made her that she's slept with every night of her 7 years. It's the same pattern and colors but I'm using bolder versions of the colors. I think she'll love it. Boredom has been my biggest problem since my accident so I'm going to steal some of your hobby ideas.

I never minded older kids trick or treating either. It's innocent fun, as long as they were respectful, I didn't mind a bit. I hated people who tried to embarrass the older kids by saying they're too old. Let them have their fun. They'll be adults with responsibilities soon enough, I say let them be kids as long as they can.

I haven't tried it, I've never heard of it. I'm going to go check now, I still have the labels from the yarn. I have a box full of old labels with the project they're from written on it. Thanks!!

I make baby blankets for the local women's shelter and our county hospital has a Project Linus type of program that I make blankets for as well. I'm making a full sized blanket for my granddaughter. I worked on it for a few months then had to put it aside for a while, I needed a break from it. About a month ago I pulled it out because I want to finish it to give it to her for Xmas. I needed more yarn but cant find 2 of the 5 colors I'm using. I'm so frustrated. I originally got the yarn from JoAnn's, they don't have it there anymore. I've been to every store and website I can think of but I can't find those damn colors. I'm doing the blanket in a basic zigzag pattern, I made one of her many blankets in that pattern and its her favorite thing in the world, she hasn't slept without it since she was born. I'm using 5 colors, light pink, darker pink, light purple, dark purple and teal. More grown up versions of her baby blanket. She helped pick the colors, I figured those colors would go with any way she decorates her room as she grows up. She's thrilled that she'll have a big kid blanket that's just like her baby blanket. I don't know what I'm going to do if I can't find the right yarn. I found a few that match pretty close but it will bother me forever if its not right. Any suggestions?

Glolights, we used to give out chips too. I always had different bowls on Halloween. One had candy bars, one had gum and suckers and one had the little bags of chips. We always ran out of the chips first. The kids would get so excited over those chips every year. I'd often hear them telling other kids coming up the driveway "this lady has chips!!". Lol. This is the only time of year that I wish I lived in a traditional neighborhood.

Same here. I was going to "like" it but just couldn't. It brought me back to my mom's and my dad's last days when I had to make that decision. Thankfully in their cases it happened within minutes. They were both ready.

Stewedsquash, how in the hell did I not know that you have a turkey farm?! Do you need a crippled farm hand? My dream is to live on a farm. I miss having trick or treaters. Being way up here nobody has trick or treated here since I moved in. That's about the only thing I miss about living in town.

I have no problem with legalized prostitution, as long as its between 2 consenting adults I don't think there's anything wrong with exchanging money for sex. This made me think. I'm the same way. I think it's because the drug related deaths are completely 100 percent preventable. That's what makes them so tragic and senseless to me. Getting a disease isn't your choice. Taking drugs is. Just my opinion.

I guess I'm in the minority, I love any and all things scented. I have some scents that I like more than others but I love everything scented. Forumfish, you would hate my house, I have a big eucalyptus tree right outside of my house. It shades my bedroom window. I love it. I break leaves off to bring in the house. I must be in a really good mood. I can't think of anything that's pissing me off today.

I've never understood this. Wouldn't your Dr already know if you have heart disease, diabetes or are on certain medications? My Dr knows everything about me and my medications and various ailments and diseases.

While talking to "Snooki" on today's episode Wendy told her that to get a bigger ring you "put your work into the marriage and then request stuff". Doesn't she really mean put all of the work into the marriage then buy yourself stuff because your man has no job? I'm sure Wendy's man isn't in a position to buy her a ring from a gumball machine. On the other hand Snooki's husband has his own career and doesn't live off of his wife. Wendy has no business giving anybody relationship advice.

That reminds me of when Jenelle was yelling at Barbara after Jace called Barbara mom. Jenelle screeched that her "name is mom". Jenelle thinks "mom" is just a name or a title. A mom is the person who cares for the child, who stays up all night, not partying but caring for a sick kid. Mom is the one who makes sure the kid gets to school every day and to Dr and dental appointments. Mom is the one who loves the child. Being called mom is a privilege, not a right and Jenelle has done NOTHING to deserve that privilege. Barbara has.

I loved the movie, Bobbie Lee didn't want people's memories of Billie Joe to be that he was a homosexual, like you said, this was in the 50s, so she pretended she was pregnant, that way Billie Joe was a hero/legend in the town's mind . She loved him and that was her final gift to him. I thought it was a great movie. One of my all time favorites.

Being in the boonies I see them a lot, once I saw one crawling next to my arm when I was lying in my bed. I was once sorting laundry and felt something hard in my husband's shirt pocket, he always keeps mints in his pocket so I reached in and pulled it out and looked down at a huge potato bug in my hand. I shreiked and threw it, then I had to go hunt it down to put it outside. I still shudder when I think of that creature in my hand.

Damn you guys! All I can think of is my sweet Billie Joe McAllister jumping off the Tallahassee bridge on the Third of June, but that's been used. Speaking of...my little girl self loved that movie, Robbie Benson was my very first crush, it was the first movie to ever make me cry. Of course I didn't really know then why he jumped off the bridge. My parents told me he was embarrassed because he "danced" with another man. I need to pull out my VHS tape and watch it today.

We call them rolly polies too. Where I live potato bugs are these giant cricket looking beasts. I don't mind spiders, snakes or any of that but a potato bug will make me run in the other direction.
