  1. I think MJ was interested even before the whole Spider-Man thing. I mean, she was already paying attention to him before Washington, which was the first time she had reason to believe that he is Spider-Man.
  2. Well, having agents on a drug binge is new, the current enemy is very different from what they have faced so far, and while the arcs of the characters are largely familiar, they are still progressing. They are also telling stories you can only tell with a long history to back you up. Inseparable is a great example for that. Granted a lot about the current season feels like a victory lap, but I don't mind that at all. And there are still some dangling story threats from the past I hope AoS will now revisit (there is still an inhuman in a cocoon under the sea).
  3. I understand that YOU have a problem with it. But in my eyes, it is more a neutral feature. Some people want more. Others are happier when the romances largely develop in the background. The only problem I see in MJ being "emotionally stunted" is that she never expresses why Peter interests her. Other than him being smart, and she obviously likes smart.
  4. Yeah, knowing Tony, he would have set up something to ensure that Peter would always have access.
  5. Really? I am kind of surprised how much I am still caring. It is rare that I am still that invested in ANY show after season 5. Usually they peak in season two or three and then become a slog to sit through. Not so AoS. Still throwing new ideas at the audience. It's glorious!
  6. Not sure if "flaw" is the right word. Some would say that not having to deal with the usual romance beats which are just boring because we have seen them countless times before is a plus.
  7. If they get Hall H, I hope they have a big announcement and this isn't just the big good-bye....
  8. I suspect more and more that WB pulled out because they know that Marvel would steal all the limelight anyway.
  9. Honestly, I am just glad that MJ stopped stalking him. Well, I just watched the movie, and I think it was great. I always like unpredictable movies, and while Mysterio being the villain was pretty obvious pretty early on, this one had some great twists. And the illusions looked great. I was laughing so hard at the "in memoriam". Set the tone for the movie perfectly. also loved the whole scene in the plane....Happy being all fatherly to Peter, Peter designing his own suit, the use of the song which once started the MCU... Loved how they develop the characters in the background, especially Flash. They are slowly moving him to something more likable aren't they? Poor Mr. Harrington though. Kind of unfair to make him the butt of the joke all the time, he is really trying to be a good teacher after all. I am not sure which one is better - this one felt a little bit less disjointed then the first part for sure - but I loved how imbedded this one was in the MCU. Not sure about the identity reveal...I don't like it, I think Spider-Man should always have a secret identity, but maybe it doesn't stick. After all, everything else in the video is a lie, too. Here is my one big negative: I know this is an American movie, hence I was able to handwave Venice but the Austrians and Dutch really deserved better. Honestly, the way they portrayed those countries and the people there took me right out of the movie because it felt as if I was suddenly at Epcot. I was outright offended on behalf of every Dutch football fan out there. And I am GERMAN!!! So that is saying something. It also felt weird to see so many historical buildings getting destroyed so casually, especially after Notre Dame. I mean, the Tower Bridge isn't THAT old, but old enough that the repairs would cost millions.
  10. I kind of wonder why they turned Deke into a regular and not Enoch...so far we have seen way more of the latter.
  11. Well, I guess there is at least one jump point close to earth.
  12. One thing after another. First we need to get all of them together. And once they are, hopefully Shield will act competent again…..honestly, I am starting to think that the earth team is missing its brains.

I wasn't aware that Mulan belongs to an entirely fictional species….

Yeah…I mean, I have some understanding for people who want that, say, superman should look as superman as possible. But in this case? Even if it is a Remake, it is a Remake of a movie based on a fairy tale. There is no rule whatsoever that The Little Mermaid has to be a redhead. In fact, in most adaptation she isn't (I think the Czech one from the 1970s was the first one in which she was a red-head in her human form - she had blue hair as a mermaid). I would say that the quality of the voice is more important. And naturally acting abilities.
  15. Really Deke????? Lol regarding Fitz being jealous of himself! Really tense episode, though I suspected that Sarge had planned something along the line. Someone who doesn't care for causalities in the name of the greater good would do something like that.
  16. Didn't know that...thanks for the information. I still don't think that the ABC will budge. I agree with you. If they allow her to get away with her temper tantrum, it will just encourage further bad behaviour in the future. Most likely they will tell her "this is what we offer you, take it or leave it, and no, we won't fire anyone just because you demand it".
  17. Frankly, I don't buy it. I think that Meghan is simply negotiating. It's really a very old move out of the entertainment playbook, act hard to get in the moment you know you are in demand. And let's be honest here, she brings the View a lot of attention and therefore ratings. Negative attention, but that doesn't really matter, there is no such thing as bad press in entertainment, it is all about being in the spotlight. This might even be an attempt to boot Sunny from the show, but that will most likely not work. If Meghan doesn't manage to get a make-up artist fired, she won't be able to touch one of her co-hosts either.
  18. Honestly, what the young american's want isn't even socialism per se. It is pretty much what people in most EU countries consider a given. In addition, we also think that having a few weeks of paid vacation each year is something completly normal. As is paternety leave.
  19. Maybe Sarge was created in the explosion? If you combine time/space/alternate reality, you could end up with an alternate copy of Coulson ending up in the past on some far away planet....
  20. Among the advantages of Falcon's suit is the fact that it is more stealthy and he can move more smoothly.
  21. I always got the impression that the Falcon wings are pretty difficult to handle.
  22. I wasn't too worried...the redshirts have a pretty good survival rate in AoS. Once you are a mauve shirt you are in danger.
  23. Eh, best romance in the MCU is and will always be Fitzsimmons anyway.
  24. Yeah, for all we know the alternate reality is such a paradise that it doesn't need a cap.
  25. I don't. And frankly, the best episodes are in the first four seasons anyway.
