I look forward to part 2. Too bad he skipped some wins in part 1.

I am not a big fan of legacy characters usually, but in the case of the MCU, it makes sense. After all, the universe is moving forward. I also have the feeling that they are working towards a young avengers movie.

I don't care about Sharon either way. I had no trouble with the romance - though I felt that it needed more time to develop. At least suggest that they had contact off-screen between movies - and just like I wanted Peggy to move on, I wanted Steve to move on. I love Steve and Peggy but the fact that it was the romance which never was made up a large part of the appeal. and regarding Sam: I like Sam, but he isn't an international assassin hunted by the governments of the world after decades of Brainwashing. He will be fine. Bucky deserved better.

I am really getting in the mood to bing the first three seasons now…(have those on DVD).

Yeah, I mean, it is less that I am bothered about Peggy's alternate life, it is more that I hate the implication of it. She isn't some tool who sits around on the shelf to be used whenever Steve has a hang up. She is a character in her own right. There is something dismissive about the way her character is treated in Endgame. As if nothing she did the life she had was more important than her being the woman Steve fell in love with. But I am also not comfortable with Steve stealing another Steve's life. Okay, he might not know where the plane is, and I guess there are reasonable explanations why they won't be able to find him earlier in this reality either, but it must be confusing as f... for this Steve to wake up and learn that an alternate version of him has lived the life he wanted.

To be fair, the main reason why the one in my neighbourhood is still around is because Germany has the se called "Buchpreisbindung" (a fixed book price) ...meaning, Amazon can't underbid the smaller book shops, at least not regarding books from German publishers (imports are another matter). And no, this doesn't exist to protect specifically the book shops, that is just a nice side-effect of a system designed to keep educational books affordable.

The difference to Quantum leap was always that it was the ending, period, and that wasn't really a great ending for someone who always wanted to do the leap home. With Steve it would have been like "okay, let's put the character aside for the moment, until Chris Evans is ready to play him again or we recast". I am sure a LOT of people would have been okay with that. Because in a way, the issue with Steve is kind of the same issue of Black Widow: Both are very important characters and it just feels wrong that they were shoved out of the franchise in a movie which wasn't even remotely about them. Infinity war and Endgame feel way more like Tony's and Thor's stories, and Tony is the one who gets all the attention you want for a character leaving the stage. It is a little bit less pronounced with Steve because there is some time of the movie dedicated to him, it just feels odd that none of this feels connected to Winter Soldier and Civil War. But Natasha doesn't even get a proper spy's goodbye. There have been characters who didn't even die who got a better send-off and a more satisfying conclusion to their story than Cap and Natasha got.

Honestly...I actually don't order all that much from Amazon. Usually only what I can't easily get in the neighbourhood...and e-books. Whenever I want an actual book, there is a nice little bookshop around the corner.

You could have written Steve out by simply not having him appear again, leaving it open if he got lost in the time stream. Or you could have simply have him retire, period, because there is no reason for him to appear anywhere if he is out of the loop. Not to mention that there are a number of ways to bring him back NOW. They could channel time through his old body. They can let alternate Steve appear.

And the pilot for Agent Carter. So they should understand the implications better.

Yes, there are two Peggys now, one which married Steve and one which didn't. But there are also two Steve's now, because in the alternate timeline there is another Steve on ice waiting to be found. No, Marcus and Mcfeely claimed that. The Russos said he created an alternate timeline. Which shows how little both the writers and the directors truly thought about the implications of the decision they made.

Bucky isn't "only" his friend. Pretty much everything Steve has ever done was for Bucky. He marched into a prison for him. He stopped fighting the Winter Soldier as soon as the world was rescued because he believed in Bucky. He protected Bucky all through Civil War. Bucky has been the main motivator of Cap for three movies. And on the flipside: When Steve was weak and needed defending, Bucky was there for him. When Steve's mother died, Bucky was there for him. Other than the brief period between getting defrosted and Civil War, Steve spend his whole life with Bucky. Leaving him behind is like leaving behind a brother.

Sure, but walking across the whole warehouse takes time. It would make more sense of the workers were assigned to specific, overlapping areas. Meaning, if one area is particularly busy, the workers from the bordering, less busy areas can be temporarily assigned there, and then go back to just taking care of their area once it is done. Amazon needs to invest in a software for that, which automatically does the math which worker to use to keep the walking time as short as possible, but if they do, they would actually need even less people in their warehouses. Btw, the segment doesn't say it, but the reason why Amazon doesn't outsource their warehousing is simply because quality control is easier if all aspects of distribution are under your own control. It is also more efficient. They don't do it out of the goodness of their heart or because they worry about workers. If it were more convenient for them, they would do it.

My issue is not Steve retiring. In fact, I was hoping that he would. He deserves to "come home" so to speak. My issue is that I don't buy into the idea that "home" is in 1945. Steve has spend more time as Captain America in this reality than in the past. And Peggy, well, she moved on. She had a husband, children, a fulfilled live. I also just don't see Steve sitting on his hands for decades while Bucky is getting tortured by Hydra. Everything about Steve's so called happy end sounds like hell to me. And that is what is bothering me.

In my mind canon, Steve went back, rescued alternate Steve from the ice, gave him a list of stuff to change in his timeline and asked him to jump into his timeline in the future with a request to give Falcon and Bucky some closure. Meanwhile he is busy running around the alternate time-lines the Avengers created in order to help fixing what they messed up.

Honestly, organising the warehouses in a way that every worker has only to walk short distances would save Amazon a lot of money, too.

I am sure they are back on earth by the end next episode. It's time to reunite the team.

Cinemawins is better if you ask me. Not because his movies are positive, but because he has actually something to say about the movies in question.

You know, I was always wondering about the workers for Amazon US. I mean, we over here even have a name for the exploitation of them: Package Slaves. And we at least have workplace rules (which amazon loves to subvert), while the US has next to none. Now I know. And I am not surprised in the slightest.

Nebula didn't know how Thanos got the soul stone. She only knew that he went with Gamora to Vomir and came back alone. She most likely assumed that he killed her once he got what he wanted.

We don't. For us in the north, summerly days are rare, so we try to enjoy them as much as possible....sitting in the shadow is the "proper" way to deal with a heat wave, or hide in your own home (which usually doesn't have an AC, but can be kept cool with all kind of tricks). Once it is really so hot that you don't even want to go outside, you don't go outside, period, because you will be half dead by the time you reach the cinema. Granted, I plan to see Far from Home. But the few times I went to the theatres during the summer they have been extremely empty. That's one of the reason why in the past, summer blockbusters often weren't shown in Europe until autumn. The only reason this changed is because internet culture demands a close release date (though animated movies often still have the delay).

Lol...that "woke" moments don't have an impact has been shown by Captain Marvel. If anything they shot themselves in the foot by having her barely in it and then killing off Black Widow, effectively disappointing nearly half of their audience. The movie is simply too long for a quick rewatch, and the additional scenes aren't really that much of a draw. They would have to release it with some sort of directors cut. Internationally, the heatwave doesn't help. Nobody in Europe goes to the cinema when it is THAT sunny.

I wonder if they scrounge up Donnie Gill again. Since we never saw his body (and I really want a confrontation between him and Fitzsimmons) I could certainly life with a "he was just in hiding" explanation.

Naturally Deke would get emotional. He is quite attached to Fitzsimmons. Last season he spend a lot of time trying to connect with them.

Deke being all upset about Fitz was the first really great moment in this episode...otherwise...honestly, I could have done without visiting Kitsun again. That felt a little bit like filler to keep them away from home an episode more. I now officially hate Sarge. If he really cared about rescuing the planet, he would share information, instead of risking the whole damned world by not saying anything about keeping the Shreeks away from each other. And frankly, maybe Mack should have just told him "deal is off". Because if Sarge expects him to act honorable, and still doesn't share information, it makes him so - much - worse!!!! The scene in the cargo hold was great, though. I mean the moment when Yoyo had to protect the other agent...just sticking a red-shirt in there made it so much engaging, and it was great to see Yoyo using her arms for once.
