  1. I enjoy Deke...I wish Fitzsimmons would give him some guidance. The poor guy just wants to belong.
  2. Mmm...Mack says "mumble mumble last five years"....Damn, I really don't understand him there. But considering that they are talking about strange things Daisy has seen, I guess he is talking about the time she spend with Shield.....if yes, that would set the current season in 2018....
  3. It's glasses so that the user can see all those screens. I don't think that they were designed to use during battle.
  4. Well, that was nerve-wracking. First the whole "damn, who will survive this" and then waiting for the second half of the episode for the the other shoe to drop. Davis better not be dead!! But I fear he served as some sort of vessel….
  5. I can think of a few options...Antman, the Wasp and Stinger, a Silver Surfer origin story, a young avengers movie, a Thunderbolts movie….We will have a better idea after Comicon.
  6. Well, also, it's Black history month. And provided that they managed it schedule wise, GotG Zun3 might be the best idea for a Summer release. It's the best-established Franchsie they have left. And then they can follow up this with Shang-Chi (though I suspect the release date of Shang-Chi will also depend on when they can released it in the Chinese Market).
  7. Why do I have the feeling that General Ross will turn up in the next movie?
  8. Honestly, I can see Flash doing a 180 in the next movie, either not believing that Peter is Spider-Man and setting out to proof it, or being his most staunch defender.
  9. Au contraire! If she had been more sympathetic, the scene would have been more heart-breaking. Hell, they could have even made a point about her experiencing more backlash than she should have exactly because of her fame.
  10. why should anyone go to the cinema on the fourth of July? Just because a day is a holiday it doesn't mean that people will necessarily go to the theatre. Ie for a while I liked to go on New year during the day. Nobody else would though. And no, studios aren't necessarily making their money in China. The Asian market has become way more important BUT one has to consider that the studio gets less from the box office in the foreign market. Basically the most money is made in the first week of the domestic box office. If we take the Endgame vs Avatar example: While endgame is still 14.3 million behind Avatar, it technically has already made a higher revenue for the studio than Avatar, because not only is it's domestic intake higher, it also made a lot of it in the first week. In Spiderman's case: It is already nearing the numbers the other MCU sequels made domestically, I would be extremely surprised if it doesn't pass a million overall, and at the end of the day, the only thing the movie has to show is an upward traction. See, domestically the Spiderman franchise was on a downward spiral. Until Homecoming was released. If Far from home makes even more, Sony will be satisfied.
  11. I suspect they will release Black Panther 2 in February again, since it worked so great the last time.
  12. Peter Burke: "Where did you come from? " Mozzie: "Forty-five years ago an enigma gave a paradox a very special hug."
  13. The Undress scene is very questionable, but there was nothing titillating about it. Honestly, it was a dumb way to give Brad the stupid picture.
  14. Shang Shi is probably the November release. They prefer to put the big franchises/events into May and put the new ones into November.
  15. Not sure if they will announce ALL of Phase 4. Announcing so many movies in advance somewhat backfired last time.
  16. Well, we know which dates Marvel has reserved for itself, so we can do some educated guesses. We do know for sure that there will be a release on May 1 2020 (most likely Black widow), November 6 2020 (most likely the Eternals), February 12 2021 (most likely Black Panther 2) and there are also releases planned for May 7, and November 5, 2021; and February 18, May 6, and July 29, 2022...I don't think that one has to be a genius to know that GotG Zun3, Doctor Strange 2, Spiderman: something home and Captain Marvel 2 will take up some of those slots. I am sure we know more about the Hall H announcement.
  17. Well, it is both for me...I enjoy the space arc more than what happens on earth but I also can't wait for the team being together again because I am sure that as soon as they are, the earth arc will solve itself.
  18. Well, nobody could live up to Tony Stark, not even Tony himself.
  19. Her imprisonment was, but you could have done this without making the character completely insufferable.
  20. Well, I assume that the next movie will be set directly after the end of Far From Home. The blip happened in 2023 and if Peter had to repeat his year, it should be 2024 in Far from Home. When the next movie gets released we are STILL behind that date in the timeline.
  21. Trish was my favourite character in season one. I thought her attempts to "guard herself" were interesting, how she fell into an abusive relationship and then fought back once she realized that what sounded heroic at first was actually toxic masculinity, her wanting to escape from the image her mother built around it and the whole backstory about Jessica helping her to escape her mother, hence forging a tight friendship between two very different women, all this was great. I also assumed that after she escaped her mother, she went to college and did study journalism or psychology or something like that. And then they went in the second season and destroyed the whole backstory by having this puzzling story about her being sexually abused as a child (and I didn't necessarily mind the idea, I minded how it felt thrown in because it was the "hot topic" if the year, there was no true exploration of the implications), and Jessica of all people encouraging her to go back to her mother to help with her drug addiction. REALLY????? That was the WORST idea I ever heard, and frankly, how the show in general keeps excusing toxic mothers grated on me. It just hurt to see two seasons of Trish constantly getting punished for the big crime of wanting to do something with her life what matters instead of conforming to what society expects her to be. The first season dealt with a lot of difficult issues, but it truly explored them and, in a way, was empowering. It was a depressing kind of empowering, but it felt great to see women survive what life was throwing at them, scarred, but never truly giving up. Seeing two seasons of the same women writing their own rules, with one of them being framed as "right" because she happens to be the main character of the show and the other basically being there for the purpose to make the lead look better...it was like the show reinforcing the idea that women are nasty backstabbers who can't have a true friendship with each other.
  22. Though it would be nice to see Peter grow up and eventually encounter the Osborns too once he is in college. I just fear that that we won't get Tom Holland for long enough to get there.
  23. I wasn't feeling the last season...too much darkness...but this one feels like it is back on track.
  24. Honestly, I don't think that I hate any other villain as much as I hate Mysterio. Maybe because he is such a smart man and could have done so much good for the world, but he was ready to kill a kid he supposedly likes because of his ego. Not to mention the whole "it is you fault when I have to do it" thing. Urgh!!!!! I would usually say that it is unrealistic that people would follow a guy like this except, well, there are Trump and Farage. Which might be why this villain unsettles me so much. He hits to close to home.
