::giggle:: @ Flour Child, CLASSIC episode: Niles: It's not as careless as you make it seem. After all, a real child would have cried before it burst into flames!
  2. Hey there @GHScorpiosRule, you look so lonely in this forum all by yourself. Can I join in? At 51, I still enjoy Looney Tunes, but they have to be classic. I don't know if it's the memory that creates the feeling, but the newer stuff I have had to sit and watch with my kids over the years, just doesn't cut it. My favorite character is, and forever will be Pepe Le Pew (which is absent from your list, but I will let it pass...lol)
  3. Guess my gal references didn't go over to well. ::giggle:: I did forget one, and I don't know how because he is on my lock screen and my background on my phone, so I see him MANY times a day. Benedict Cumberbatch. Yummy.
  4. Hello there all! Or maybe I should say Hello @WendyCR72 & @GHScorpiosRule as you are the only two in the thread right now. ::giggle:: Meet your friendly neighborhood mod for this forum - and that makes me happy as Criminal Intent is my fave L&O break off. Do you think the season threads are working for you, or would you like to see me combine them all into a "All Episodes Talk" area, and so we don't have to remember which season which episode was in. In my mature brain (another way of saying OLD), it helps me better to be able to comment, because even if I have watched each episode like a billion times, I still don't know what the NAME of the episode is or what season it came from, and that would help me better be able to add to the discussion. What do you think?
  5. My favorite recurring character was Sandy Cooper played by Valerie Mahaffey - it was a perfect part for her to play. And coming back for however many times she came back, HA! Cracked me up every single time. Tried to find a YouTube clip of something she did in Wings, and can't find anything, help?
  6. A place to discuss particular episodes, arcs and moments from the show's run. Please remember this isn't a complete catch-all topic -- check out the forum for character topics and other places for show-related talk.
  7. Ditto what @Willowy said @Kromm! So, I can admit watching What's Happening when it was live. I actually liked it, but gosh, I was young so that must have been why. A couple of months ago I saw that it was on Encore Classics and watch a few episodes and I was like, hmmm, not so much. Definitely one of those series that didn't stand up to the test of time for me.
  8. Thanks for sharing that @heyerchick, I love Chris, loved his movie, my daughter loved his book, I am looking forward to this episode. I hope it takes him far as a writer. Tim Conway! Yippee!!!
  9. Oh yeah, Nick Tortelli! He was great. His second wife, the blond, Jean Kasem, was Casey Kasem's (American Top 40) wife. That was a match I never understood.
  10. I think you are right @Inquisitionist, Markie Post was a childhood friend. And thanks for the timeline. Love Harry Anderson ... saw him before he got famous in a comedy club in Pittsburgh, very early 80's.
  11. I think you got me @bigskygirl, I only remember his last name, not his first... Ha! Two points away from me...
  12. Karen: You say potato, I say vodka.

  14. Remember when Markie Post showed up as Diane's college roommate (I think that is what she was)? Diane thought she had it bad for Sam. Was Markie Post even a star then? Was Night Court on yet? The 80's are a blur. ::giggle::

High Holiday's, he he Niles: I know all the symptoms I can expect to experience. I'm especially looking forward to something called the "munchies" stage. It's where one enjoys bizarre food combinations. I'm thinking of pairing this Chilean sea bass with an aggressive Zinfandel!
  16. Behind Norm, he he What's going on, Mr. Peterson? The question is, 'what's going 'in' Mr. Peterson?' A beer, please, Woody.
  17. So never saw How I Met Your Mother while it was live, and right after the Series Finale, my daughter decides to start binge watching it and asks me to join her. It took me almost the whole of Season 1 to realize the narrator was Bob Saget. I actually saw Bob Saget live in a comedy club in Pittsburgh, PA probably around the year '82 or '83 - he was clean cut and had a great routine. Just an aside, also saw Jerry Seinfield at the same club. Cool to have seen them before they got famous.
  18. How big of an Adam-12 fan are you? What is the name of the guy who usually responded to the calls made from the squad car?
  19. Let's talk about Tara Wilson. Am I the only person that didn't like her, and think that she was a horrible fit for Alan?
  20. Mac: Bull has got himself a girlfriend. Dan: Really? Animal, mineral or vegetable?
  21. Finally getting here to post my thoughts on the episode. Caught something in this episode that I didn't notice before, and so the reason and the benefit of doing a re-watch, catching the ambiance. When Gordan walks up to Casey to tell him the he agrees with Casey about the coach thing, I got the feeling that Casey started playing the other side just so he could be adversarial with Gordan ... you know how men do sometimes, like a pissing contest thing. But then, as the conversation moved on, he actually started believing his argument and bam, he let it go. Great introduction to the relationship between Jeremy and Natalie. LOVED Dan telling Jeremy how to pick a restaurant, it still makes me want to live in NY: "Make it some place that you like. Restaurants - they don't impress women as much as we think they do, and food always tastes good on a first date. You're not in Vegas, and you're not in L.A. You are in the most magnificent city in the world. It's the city of Gershwin and Cole Porter, Damon Runyon and Figerlo La Guardia. Surprise her, but make her feel comfortable. Make it different, but make her feel at home. But mostly, make it some place that you like." Crash and burn. HA! Why is it that us woman are incapable of sound effects? Well, at least as good as the guys? Dan: You should know that Tony Orlando wasn't Italian. And if you guessed that the man was of Latin descent, you'd be incorrect as well. Mr. Tony Orlando hails from Greece. We thought you should know that. ::giggle:: Overall, a great episode. I like Jeremy, as my daughter would say, he is adorkable.
  22. I just came across this nice, short tribute.
  23. Very close! Frances Sterhagen...she was perfect!
  24. Brad Pitt, hehe Can I admit to a crush on a girl(s)? ::giggle:: Maria Bello in Coyote Ugly, man was she hot. Seriously. Those arms? Geesh. And speaking of arms, who could forget Linda Hamilton in Terminator 2, OMG. Nuff said.
  25. Alan: Shirley? [sighs] What about senior partners? There would be nothing wrong with me...lusting, say, after you? Would there? Shirley: Go subscribe to National Geographic. Make a list of the places you'll never get to visit. Add to that list, Schmidt. he he
