  1. Not only does she look ridiculous but her name is spelled incorrectly in the headline ("Glavnille"). I'm guessing she has a bargain basement publicist who doesn't bother to make sure these planted pieces are done right. She is just sinking ever so slowly, isn't she?
  2. I know they say that they judge based on what is sent down the runway and not on what the person has presented all season but they clearly did not do this for this show. Lindsay's was not great but Laurie's creation was on a level all it's own. Has there ever been a worse outfit on that runway???? It was poorly conceived, poorly fitted and poorly sewn. The model's privates were exposed two ways. It had an ice skater skirt. For me it rivals, Vincent's cardboard tube dress (season 3?) that he just threw stuff on for decoration and the model couldn't walk in. I don't think he went home for it either. Swapnil's dress was beautiful but I think he was safe because that same unusual dress has graced that runway at least four times before. It might have been something new to Swapnil but it's not new to Project Runway. Do your homework Swapnil! I couldn't watch a minute of Rachel Zoe's show due to the annoying commercials. As for the spelling of her husband Rodger's name, I prefer to spell it this way - MOOCH.
  3. I believe that Captain Lee is not, in fact, the captain. The real captain is not seen on the show and is busy actually running the ship and is "that guy downstairs". There are others running the ship (engineers) who have never been seen before this year but were there all along on the prior seasons. "Captain" Lee is second in command (first mate?). This info was from an article from when the show first came on a couple of years ago. I think the link was from this forum. It seems that Don was not well-versed on what he should and should not say in front of the cameras and it's no wonder that people are confused.
  4. Totally agree. I can say at home "I like that", "I don't like that." The question for professionals is WHY? What would you change? I feel like the show has taken a big step backwards. I'm not a Kelly fan but at least she recognized good tailoring and fit. I liked George and I like Brad; they seem fairly interchangeable. Giuliana adds nothing. She can go and take Nene with her. Mel B and Margaret Cho can stay.
  5. Eh, I don't believe a word that Monty says. If you take a step back to look at the big picture, Kim was doing alright in her sobriety before he came back into close contact (wasn't she?). I believe we read last fall that her family was concerned about her relapsing under the "stress" that having Monty there brought back into her life. Maybe it wasn't just "stress" that he brought back with him. Her family was also concerned when Ken, "gay bull-mastiff" tm Brandi (and I bet "her gays" are still thanking her for bringing them into that nickname), was in her life because they felt he was a bad influence. I guess it is easier to cut someone out when he is almost a total stranger than when he is part of the family. Monty was there when this whole thing blew up. She was out at dinner with him the night before (thanks for instagramming that Monty) when she was supposedly in 100% pain. She was shown trying on dresses for him to approve before the Poker Party, shown feeling no pain (another Monty Instagram). She was using drugs with him/using his drugs when she got in the limo with Lisa. Kim wondered aloud about where Monty was at the poker party. He was around when she checked into the hospital for the mysterious 5/7/9 hospital stay. The show tried to cast a suspicious light on the wine-pairing lunch for Kim's falling off the wagon but it is rather easy for an addict to say no to things when people are looking (especially TV cameras). It's what you do when nobody's looking that is key. If only Monty's ex-wife/drug buddy didn't have a job where she was filmed a good deal of the time, they could party in peace. It was very telling to me when Kim didn't know which day she had spoken with Kyle (after some party with a producer-mandated Kyle/Brandi fracas) and Kyle's reaction to it (Kyle got angry with Kim and then cried). It was a deja vu moment for Kyle; she knew that the old days were here and Kim was back at square one. It's no wonder that Monty tries to excuse everything with Kim. He's very busy waiving his arms and saying "Don't look over here - look over there!" He just wants to party in peace. Jerk.
  6. Merline was a winner as well and she was last on her team too. And we didn't see Merline crying and feeling sorry for herself. I don't usually agree with Kelly Osbourne but I did when she said to Ashley that you need a thick skin to be in the fashion business. When life hands you lemons, Ashley, try making lemonade instead of crying into it. Like Merline did. Heck, I would have given Swapnil the win over those two and Edmond and Blake every challenge. I'm very glad that he is acting professionally and not letting it bother him. I may not agree with the winners but I am so very glad that Amanda is gone.
  7. I was falling asleep during the last part of this. I know that Roh and Justine got into it at Roh's open house. Did Roh call Justin lazy? If he did, do you think there are things that Roh sees behind the scenes or is it just in response to Justin not getting back to him in a timely manner on their last potential sale?
  8. This was ok for a first show/introductions to new cast. The party host went from being fun to sad pretty quickly. I, too, was glad that they showed some of the people who are really running the yacht. I watched this alone last night but I couldn't help myself when I yelled out "Ben!!!" to no one in particular. It was like an old friend came back. I wonder who gets the plane ticket this year?
  9. You are 100 % right about Kim's mothering skills. It really gets to me when Kim brings up how she is always Doing Things for Her Children. If she spent as much time thinking about her kids as she does thinking about her next high, they would feel loved indeed. Instead we get her holding them up like human shields to deflect from her own selfish behavior.
  10. I thought the great mother comments were directed to Kyle. Maybe this was a kind of thank you to her for her involvement with Brooke throughout the years. He's been kinda quiet about Kim's mothering skills.
  11. “Kim finally realized that she needed help and is truly committed to getting it,” said a source. (from the Radar Online article) Isn't this the 5th time this phrase has been trotted out since the spring? And they (the Hiltons) threatened to cut her off financially if she didn't check herself into rehab this time. So they are bribing her. The French have a phrase - "the more things change, the more they remain the same." Sounds about right. I'm glad Monty thinks all is well.
  12. The Countess made no sense last night which is odd because Luann usually does have sense on her side. I think the reason for this is she was trying to keep her niece out of it. The whole thing is about the niece not sleeping with the help or age shaming. Luann's niece had expectations for more of a relationship with Adam than he did. She may have said to Adam that it was just a casual with them but clearly she envisioned continued relationship with him. Perhaps she was dreaming of a surprise proposal and a ring on their planned trip together (which they did take). Adam told Carol that he and the niece hadn't dated for months. Maybe that was true, maybe not quite. In any case, the Countess is doing her best to let Carol know that she has hurt Luann's family and not letting her niece be seen as needy and whining.
  13. I know it was the wrong time to try to give Vicki the information but Shannon had to do it while the camera was on them. Maybe that is why Shannon looked so nervous at the table - she knew she had to do something that she didn't want to do?
  14. I was sorry to see that Jeff took it to such a personal level with Gage. Everyone watching who is involved in a relationship could feel how deep that remark cut. I was also sorry to see that no one took Jeff to task over it until much, much later. Last week Vanina wondered why no one backed her up against Jeff. The whole culture of that office is to affirm whatever Jeff is saying and keep your head down. And why didn't anybody put down their drink and leave when it became apparent that Gage was really upset? I know I would leave if I saw a couple who had a fight and needed to resolve things. Getting up and leaving might send the message to Jeff that this comment cannot be glossed over.
  15. I think Bethenny's point was that Beth could see that Luann might think that even though Beth did not think that was the reason that they went charging into Lu's room. Beth was trying to cut the countess some slack. Beth has said several times she could understand why Luann was upset (due to Luann's wrong assumptions) and why Heather and Carol were upset about the stranger in the apartment.
  16. The episode was a little slow but the little zingers woke me right up. Loved: - Bethenny saying that she didn't know what dialect Dorinda was using. (I didn't understand a word Dorinda said at the party.) - Ramona admitting that she sometimes acts like she is six years old and Bethenny commenting that she was giving herself two years. - the 'drive-by' therapy session Good times!
  17. It's better than a mugshot - it's got the hat! The only thing better than this in-moment picture of Kim and her dime-store heist would be blood test results.
  18. Kim's photo is scary. It's the eyes. And the things she took are nonsensical. A tiny bag of Animal Crackers??? It's no wonder that Target wants to prosecute - it probably took them hours to put back all the little pieces of crap she stole. A cry for help or a cry for attention? I'm not sure.
  19. Her implants were a 'gift' from Jeff. The entire office talked about what size she should get. It was a bit off-putting to say the least.
  20. Let's see, you take the worst from RHOBH and the worst (most boring ever) from RHONY and add in the douchiest RH husband ever and that makes a good show? Not something I'll make time for.
  21. My impression of her 5/7/9 hospital stay was that she went there to get her head straight and get her body detoxed and stayed until she was ready to face the world again. I know that hospitals don't operate like this (unintentional pun!) but that is what Kim's description of it sounded like to me - a little rest, a massage, a couple of IV bags and vases of flowers from my loving family!
  22. Is this another 'rest time' for Kim? What does she need a break from this time? If the stories about Kyle tying herself to Kim are true (I'm not sure about that), it makes sense that at the time Kyle was trying to avoid setting off a downward spiral that Kim is apparently in this summer. Even if you know that "hitting bottom" and getting legit help is what is needed for the ill person, sometimes you envision the path to it as so rough that you avoid it as long as you can. If this all ends in Kim finally submitting to the help that she needs, maybe we have Kingsley and the bite heard round the world to thank for it all?
  23. I felt bad for Vanina too. We were finally starting to see her doing work and speaking up and for a few minutes I thought she might be leaving and Joe staying. She must have felt just horrible being confronted with the entire group around. I wouldn't expect anyone to speak up for her/disagree with Jeff with the way he sets things up. Everyone there knows there is only Jeff's way or the highway. What Jeff said to Gage in the previews made me sit up and say "Oh no you didn't!!!"
