  1. Dibs on Kim's booth. My guess is May 18th. I know!! And didn't she make it sound like she just likes to go in there to soak in the atmosphere and people watch but never to actually order something. From the Bar. That's normal. How about 13) If anyone questions your behavior, tell them you are ACTING. (wink/wink) Too funny, you guys!
  2. Hysterical! She's got the wonky eye down pat. Is this a throwback? It goes to show that the more things change, the more they stay the same. Maybe the could update with a RichardsRules for sobriety. 1) It doesn't count if the pills are prescribed to you. 2) It doesn't count if the pills aren't prescribed to you but you have a really, good reason. 3) Being seen drinking is very wrong; not being seen drinking is ok. 4) If you are in so much pain that you should be seeing a physician but you would rather be doing something else, like going out to dinner with your family, then it is ok to self-medicate. 5) Driving while drunk is ok if you are going to a safe place, like a bar. 6) Drinking and drugging are ok if they are not used on a daily basis.
  3. Does it really matter one way or the other? Unless there is some come to Jesus moment for Kim, she will continue to behave the way she has in the past. She will not do any of the hard work required in rehab. Why not just kick back, relax, have a massage, eat healthy and commune daily with her life coach and save the rehab money and the rehab space for someone who truly wants to get better. Because you know it has worked so well for her in the past.
  4. "And buying me a drink would be a good way to show that you are sorry!!! Oh waiter, a vodka tonic in a paint can please."
  5. I just had to share a comment written by Dexter on the http://www.realitytea.com/2015/04/30/kim-richards-impossible-rehab-lisa-vanderpump-thinks-kim-leave-real-housewives-beverly-hil article. It got my morning off to a good start.
  6. I can give a general answer to this. Big Kathy lived in a development somewhere near Palm Springs and she bought Kim a house in the same development. When her mom got sick, Kim took care of her for (approx) the last year of her life. But I think Kim saying she took care of her mother might be the same way she currently "takes care" of Monty. Kim would have you believe that she is Monty's sole caregiver but apparently he splits his time between Kim, another ex-wife and daughter and possibly another girlfriend. He travels around a lot (he was in Las Vegas when Kim was arrested) without her. I've even heard reports that he has a place in hospice care and only visits Kim. Also, she is often traveling without him, like her vacation in Cabo with daughter Brooke. I think there were years (8?) in between the death of BK and RHBH. Lastly, Kim was known to be a party girl from her early twenties. She also "took care" of her dad when he was sick a few years before her mother. In the House of Hilton book, it says that she was high most of that time and allowed her kids to jump on the sick man's bed. The situation lasted a few months before he and his wife packed up and left for some peace. Also, Kim "lost" that house in the desert and has been moving every couple of years ever since.
  7. I have to say that's the one thing I agree with Kim Richards on - I wouldn't want a roommate either. People have been accused of being gleeful at what has happened over the past week. Others have written that was incorrect and surely no one was gleeful for what happened to Kim. But that is incorrect. I, for one, was gleeful. I literally laughed out loud when I heard the news. I exclaimed "it couldn't have happened to a nicer person!" to people around me who have never even seen the show. And they had no idea who she was. My reaction is probably due to growing up with and being around alcoholics in my later years and the anger that resurfaces when they try to fool everyone around them. When the truth comes out, you want to shout "See, I'm not crazy - they are! Look they were lying all along." But the wisdom of another much loved/much talked about Housewife has taken hold of me. I'm talking about Sonja Morgan who defused the situation on Scary Island. One housewife had been behaving off her rocker (probably due to a combo of drug/liquor and perhaps mental illness) and Sonja's point was that it didn't matter that everyone finally saw Kelly at her craziest because Kelly was truly ill and needed kindness more than lectures. This took the wind out of everybody's sails but it was the right thing to do. I'm at that point with Kim. She was mean, she was rude. She lied continuously. She's broken. We can move on but she's still stuck in that world that she created. It's no longer fun to go over this. Best of luck Kim.
  8. Kim picked him. She could have had any other talk show host that she wanted. I'm sure Access Hollywood or Entertainment Tonight or Diane Sawyer or even Andy would have loved to have Miss Kim come in. But she chose Dr Phil. Dr Phil behaved no differently than he had in every other interview he has ever done. He's been on TV for over a decade and is certainly a known commodity. I think your issue may be with yet another of Kim's poor choices. She's such a delusional ass.
  9. I thought it was the King at first glance. I also thought it was a very sad, thoughtful moment captured by someone. Then I saw the second shot which looks like a fun moment. Getting picked up by her son after a shopping day and stay at a hotel. Is Yo playing with us?
  10. I thought I read in one of the articles on the Dr Phil show that was linked a couple of pages back that Kathy was running out during breaks in filming and coaching Kim on what to say. Being used to all things Kim Richards, we can see that she is spinning her same old story - ie one time slip, one drink, happened to be driving right by the Polo Lounge, etc... How good a sister is Good Sister Kathy when she in encouraging these lies? This helps no one and is not doing anything for Kim's reputation. On the other hand, there is Bad Sister Kyle after Kim's "one" pill slip up on Poker Night - her attitude is Kim slipped up but at least she was honest in telling me about it which is something that had never happened before. Kim's go to reaction when called out is to lie and deflect. Kyle took that night as a sign of growth. To Kim and Kathy relying on the tried and true lies and deflection, (re Dr Phil) "How's that working for you?"
  11. Kim's alleging that she goes by the Polo Lounge while driving from Brooke's house to her own. Do any CA people know where any of these locations are?
  12. I don't have a DVR and I will be working until late tomorrow but I knew that you guys would come through for me. It hasn't even aired yet and we've already got some of the worst of it. Let's see what we learned: - Kim poured herself a two inch glass of vodka which made her drunk. (I'm sure upon retelling the story the size of the glass will shrink down to a dixie cup.) - The Polo Lounge is on the way home for Kim from Brooke's house to her own. - Kim was driving while drunk. She said she drove to the lounge at midnight and was still displaying drunken behavior to the police at 1:30 am despite not having anything to drink while at the bar. She just wanted to sit there. - The Polo Lounge stops serving drinks before midnight. - The Polo Lounge was empty except for Kim and people that she was bothering. - Kim feels safe in that bar and has a particular booth that she always sits in. I loved Dr Phil's frustration with Kim not getting that a bar should be the last place for a recovering alcoholic to go in. Let alone be her safe place. Dr Phil is validating us - we're not crazy, she is.
  13. Yes it was a great look into their lives. I think them riding bikes in Amsterdam was a fun time and I also liked the Foster's charity concert in Canada with Stephen Tyler. The scavenger hunt was fun too with one team hitching a car ride with some fans. If you can block out most of the Brandi and Kim scenes it wasn't such a bad little housewives year after all. Aack - I almost forgot the Burbank Film Festival. If Eileen does nothing else, she will be enshrined in Housewife Heaven for that alone.
  14. Kim is a puzzle. She lives most of her life in the shadows and yet really enjoys the spotlight too. It's like there is no in between for her. Making a big dramatic exit from the show put a Big Spotlight on her. Did she enjoy everyone running after her down the hall? I wonder what she would have done if no one came after her? What if Dr Phil corralled the kids and said that he wasn't going to pay Kim for the interview or offer her any services gratis unless he had an hour show. Then he had them come back to the set to discuss how living with an addict has affected them. I could see Kim peeping out and then coming back - to the spotlight.
  15. You probably would enjoy the extra footage show which is almost entirely fun moments. Once you go through the second half of the season and especially the third part of the reunion, the extra footage show is like a breath of fresh air. I think that many watched it and had the epiphany that "Yes, this is why I watch the show!" Regarding the addict Kim/co-dependent Kyle act, there is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. You can see Kyle start to distance herself from Kim. Kyle mentioned that she did go to Al Anon and it looks like she may be putting some of their preaching into practice.
  16. You're too nice and even-handed, Avaleigh. At about the midpoint, Kim Richards was given/stole one of her dying ex-husband's pain pills before filming a scary hour long limo ride and Poker Night at Eileen's house . Most of the rest of the season was a roller coaster of various housewives offering Kim help if she needed it and expressing concern for her which was met with the reaction "I've been Sober for Three Years!!! Mind your own bizwax. Moving on!" from Kim. And there's a "How Dare You" thrown in there but not by Kim. I think it's worth checking out. You can at least play the 'Is She/Isn't She Sober Game' each show.
  17. What does the well-dressed woman wear to rehab? Probably something simple and flats to scale the fence.
  18. A very tall pal who forgot her pants. Those red lips are a bit much in that lighting.
  19. Yes. I definitely heard the word 'tonight' in that exchange. And I questioned myself - I thought I must have misheard. Over the years, I have given Kim the benefit of the doubt over and over again. Knowledgeable people on these boards immediately questioned her elective surgeries right after rehab and my first thought was "Maybe it was something she always wanted to do." Luckily, due to my training right here, my second thought is "this is an excuse and she's using again."
  20. Question regarding the Dr Phil fiasco: Do you think that Kim thought she could control the interview to the extent that she would cop to drinking that one night and that would be it? And that she could shut down anything other than that scenario? "Dr Phil, I am not here to talk about all the legit meds that I take on a daily/hourly basis for real reasons. I am here to talk about ONE NIGHT that got a little out of hand. One night in three sober years." Or do you think that she really thinks she has fooled everyone and that there is no way in her mind that the interview could ever go there - meaning questioning her claim of THREE YEARS SOBER!? That Dr Phil would pat her on the head and say 'there, there, you're obviously so stressed. You know you can't do that again."
  21. Bwahahahah!! Like that is going to happen :-) Nothing in that article was true, was it? Sounds like Brandi's doing.
  22. They are giving them a run for their money though.
  23. Sorry, I know that none of them are Hiltons. Two of them are Richards and little Kathy is something else.
  24. She was a cocaine addict who owed hundreds of thousands of dollars to her drug suppliers. They were probably not going to wait for her home decorator career to take off for their payment. I believe this became public after her stint in rehab, hopefully when she was making amends to those that she had hurt. I don't know that as a fact; I don't care enough about Faye Resnick to find out. She was an addict; have some compassion! She is closer in age to Kathy and has been her good friend for many, many years. I think she is a family friend to all the girls. But I think "the morally corrupt Faye Resnick" will forever be enshrined in Housewife lore right up there with "kadooz", "ingrediences", "slut pig", etc... It's one of the reasons that we love them so.
  25. I spent such a pleasant hour with the housewives last night.... ... it makes me think about what should have been cut so we might have seen some more of those scenes during the season. The one that immediately leaps to mind is the Gay Mixer. And I really didn't think it was a bad idea or mind seeing all the ladies with their gay friends and hearing them mix it up with the guests. What I did mind was the staged fight. I give both Brandi and Kyle a pass for that fight. I think once Brandi got the invite from Kim, she knew why she had to go and what she had to do there. Same for Kyle - once Kyle saw Brandi walk in she knew what was going to happen that evening. I think we saw Kyle walking around the room, collecting herself, getting ready for her next "scene" - the brouhaha with Brandi. They did it because they are good Bravo employees. Bravo did it for drama, ratings? Please Bravo the fight added nothing and I would so much rather see Eileen getting ready for the Emmys or Lisa making fun of the film festival in the valley or Lisa and Kyle seeing LRs Playboy spread.
