  1. Well she did give Kim (and Monty) a place to stay for awhile but it appears that those days are over. Perhaps things changed after Kathy got the 911 call from Cabo over Kim's scene at Brooke's wedding. When Kim went MIA in Mexico, the family knew where she was and took a security guard down there to scoop her up. I don't think it is a coincidence that Kim "broke out" (was allowed to go by someone) of her latest rehab hours after Nicki Hilton's wedding was over in England. Little details matter when you look into the murk that if Kim Richard's life.
  2. I would 'like' this a thousand times if I could!!!! Thank you! I saw a commercial for Target tonight and immediately thought of Kim. Get out of my head Kim!
  3. To me it is not necessary for her to be shamed but it would be nice if she apologized to the people around her for the way she has treated them. The maddening thing is when she trots out the "I love my sobriety/I'm fine now" line. We know that nothing has changed. If she took the step to apologize to somebody publicly, we would know that the logjam has been broken. We are reduced to pointing and laughing at her antics when I think that a lot of people would get behind her if we saw some effort on her part. So far zero effort. She's just evading, trying to slip by. As far as the news reports saying different things about Kim's current situation (she's living out of her car/she's couch surfing, etc...), I think the could all be true. Being in Kim's inner circle these days is a lot like being in a game of musical chairs where you don't want to be the last one in the game. Kyle and her family are gone, Kathy and her family are gone, Monty is back staying with ex No 2, Brooke is out, Chad might not be much help, Whitney is out, Kimberly probably does not have much resources, the Davis' hate her. I believe she mentioned two friends she had in response to an article saying that she had no friends (source Brandi?) and one of those friends was Kay Rozario's daughter. Cross her off the list. So Kim's available couches have gotten fewer and fewer and she may have spent a night or two in a car. Also, there was an article a few weeks back about her leaving her last house in a shambles. It was probably dirty and she may have only packed up a suitcase or two. I can picture all her day to day stuff left there with Kim at the door and her key won't work now. In the past there were people to pack for her and see about her stuff - those days are gone. It makes sense that she needed to go to Target to replace what she left behind. It doesn't make sense that she thought she could get away without paying for three carts of stuff. I haven't figured out the toys.
  4. I am picturing her with three carts filled with aerosols covered over with some toys. "Ossiffer, you don't understand.... I need my house to be really clean. Squeaky Squeaky clean. That's why I need all of these cans By the way, do they sell Reddi-Wip here?"
  5. Dr Phil is laughing his ass off somewhere. And the HIlton's are saying Thank God she didn't make it to the wedding. (I'm quite convinced that the reason she 'got out' of rehab at midnight the day of the wedding is because that's how long the Hilton's paid someone to keep her involuntarily in her voluntary rehab.)
  6. The first article said she shoplifted toys and my first reaction is "Who are those toys for?" It's gotten so nothing surprises me about Kim these days. The TMZ article just said she had a cart full of $600 worth of Target stuff. Now I'm picturing an entire cart full of aerosols. $600 would net you a very full cart at Target. It seems that Monty is the only one willing to speak up about Kim and it's a shame that she is filling his last months with crap.
  7. I don't think George's original house was hideous but it had to go. It was George from ten years ago; it was his party pad. His wife and family weren't represented at all. They did go pretty far away from what George likes so I am glad that he spoke up and compromises were reached. It was satisfying to watch. Usually when Jeff Lewis is involved with a dispute there is a lot of passive-aggressive behavior so this was positively refreshing.
  8. I usually loooooove Jeff's work but the Eads' kitchen left me feeling a shade of grey. The things they added made it feel more like a home. I remember Jeff's old partner Ryan saying that he added a layer of warmth to Jeff's designs. It looked like Jeff got the George Eads treatment with Gage walking around the Hollywood house thinking how bad it looked. I was thinking that it needed the Jeff Lewis treatment too but then I am not a fan of Spanish houses. Anyone is better than Andrew who was psycho-killerish. I would not be watching if Andrew was back.
  9. I think Kim's "two tiny half margaritas" description was just her usual way of diminishing any bad behavior. (Why even mention there were two when she only drank one tiny half margarita? Unless you drank more?) This is totally in line with her one inch glass of vodka, her going to a bar and not having one drink, her not having had vodka for ten years, her being asked to leave the Polo Lounge for no reason, etc... Two things I'm loving about this interview is when asked what she was thinking when she got arrested, Kim replies that her first thoughts "were for my kids" (touches heart, looks angelic). She then states that she didn't know how to tell them about the arrest so apparently she didn't and let them find out from the news. Mom of the Year material there. The second thing is her treatment team: a psychiatrist, a life coach, a masseuse, a chiropractor, an acupuncturist, etc... I think the only thing missing from that team is Kim who apparently is not working on her sobriety. She's got people for that.
  10. I agree with everyone above about Zoila. I really don't need her on my TV screen. But at least God answered my prayers and Andrew is gone. Zoila is certainly the lesser of two evils. I am happy that we get to hear Vanina, the mousy assistant, speak this year. Love the shoot - that was enough house porn for me!
  11. I totally agree that this is the same old line from Kim but at least we now know how to translate it. "I was upset about Monty, my sister, my dog...." = I drank but I had a good reason "I needed to get away from all the pressure" = My lease was up, Kathy will only put me up for so long and I needed some place to go. "I worked on me" = I will go to rehab but they have to have beautiful rooms, excellent food and massages. I will attend meetings but only if I can bring my phone. "Bravo is interested in having me back next year" = Nobody fires me; I am a star! My agent called them and they picked up the phone. Her number had not been blocked!
  12. The one thing I did like about Bethenny's session with the doctor was when she described the housewives to him and explained that she, surprisingly, was having fun with them. However, I did note that when Beth was going on about how crazy the HWs were when partying and what interesting (sad/funny) lives they all led, Beth left Kristen out. I don't think it was intentional but I do think that's how most of us see that group.
  13. Totally agree and can you imagine how her family feels if we feel this way? I see her out for a nice dinner and I think "You don't deserve to be out on the town" but this is not the right attitude to have either. When I hear about Kim Richards apologizing to people, then I will know she is on the road to recovery. I wish the TMZ reporters would ask her if she started making amends yet instead of telling her how great she looked.
  14. It seems a little Reality Check for me. The Sharknado producers probably wanted to use Kim in the commercial but did not because a) they were unable to due to Kim's being unavailable due to rehab/court dates or b) they didn't want to due to Kim's bad press this spring. If they didn't use Kyle, they probably would have used another Real Housewife - so why not Kyle? That's how the industry works; it doesn't wait for Kim.
  15. I, too, noticed Leanne's sort of serene smile face that she had almost the entire time. I was thinking that maybe Meghan went to a lot of time and trouble to set this pre-prom party up totally according to what Meghan liked with little or no input from Leanne or her daughter. And then Leanne, knowing how her daughter generally reacts to things like this, enjoyed her daughter's less than appreciative attitude. You think you know me and my daughter, Meghan? You don't know us.
  16. I think it's a good reminder that Eileen was the one person willing to put Kim in her place. Eileen's over the top rejoinder was the perfect response to out of control Kim.
  17. I've already stated that it bothers me that she bought all that inventory because she was "excited" (her word and her husband's) and not because it was a good business decision. The second thing that bothers me is her "look". I know this sounds petty but the beauty business really is skin deep. Her tri-color hair looks terrible, at least on TV. I wished Marcus suggested, as the face of the business, she should visit a high end salon and listen to their advice. If I was QVC, I would never let her near their sets. Layne maybe. I think it was Rejuvenol.
  18. Totes better than the caftans. It's not my favorite; I question high waisted pants on such a short woman. However, I bet she certainly stood out in the crowd.
  19. I don't see it. Even when Ryan acted like a dick, he had a sarcastic, humorous side. Andrew seems very intense. My opinion of ROH, who I thought was too serious, and Justin, who I thought was too silly, changed by the end of the show. My opinion of Andrew being wound pretty tight did not change - especially after he told them that he acquired their domain names. Very insecure move.
  20. I think this business is still left with some of the original problems. The business dynamic between the husband and wife was not a good one with the husband giving good advice about the mountain of unsellable product and the wife not listening to him. Because she was "excited" about the business. Will Marcus have to be on speed dial for all the times when the wife wants to do something the the husband disagrees? Does she still have a bigger percentage of the business than her husband?
  21. Marcus had better keep an eye on that business. I have a feeling that those tweezers will make their way back into the product lineup if sales don't skyrocket. I wasn't crazy about the woman. It was said twice that she made bad business decisions and bought truckloads of extraneous stuff to sell because she was "excited". I think she gives businesswomen a bad name.
  22. I like that he also said that his reaction was genuine and not acted. (He also said that he could not act and that was why he was on Bravo - hee!) My impression was Jeff is not too fond of Brandi anymore. Jenni did not seem to like that incident either. So more lies from Brandi.
  23. Conja was indeed a highlight last night and if you blinked you missed it. If Yolanda's fridge can have it's own facebook page, can "Conja" be left behind? She deserves one!
  24. Kelly did not graduate from Columbia. She took some classes at Columbia's extension college. There, balance has been restored to the universe.
  25. I almost totally agree. I do think the brothers knew how to run the business but they didn't know how to grow the business. It seems that they got to a certain point in their original growth and then quality issues set in. The one brother was loathe to expand because he could see the end result going down. The designer brother probably got stuck in a rut doing the same ol', same ol' day in and day out for supermarkets. Loved the 'tough love' from Marcus. This is one of my shows that I have gotten my husband to start watching. He says the same thing after most of them - "Marcus really knows how to handle people." I think my husband is watching and secretly taking notes.
