  1. The very few genuinely rich people I know don't bother owning jets (hanger rentals, inspections and maintenance, pilots etc) they just subscribe to Uber for Rich People and call for one to come pick them up whenever they want one.
  2. Remembering Hal's speech: Hal will be in hospital, while Kate is so busy saving the world that she can't be with him, and wracked with guilt.
  3. I’ve never seen another actress who blinked as much ... she may have dry or poorly fitted contact lenses.
  4. And if Sheila cut her toe off, why the middle toe? Not that Show has a fabulous track record for medical reality, but ... I understand you mostly balance on your great and little toes, and if you have to lose one, it's better in you lose one of the middle toes.
  5. Loved that just at the end, as they are contemplating a new adventure, Phileas calls them Abigail and Jean. It had been Miss Fix and Passapartout up until then.
  6. I loved that Kate and Dog went home with him, but, yes, Yelena needed some caring, too.
  7. Yeah, but they're being raised as brother and sister, and that's just ... Eeewww.
  8. Same thing happens in Lord of the Rings: Frodo tries to give the ring to someone "better". Gandalf wants no part of it. Galadriel practically hides under a rock to avoid it, and expresses great relief when she realizes she really has been strong enough to turn it down.
  9. I don't know if anyone is still reading this, but the perfume guy was full of it. Light is actually bad for perfume, and there are a lot of fine scents that aren't in see thru bottles. My favorite, Encre Noire (Black Ink) is in a black crystal cube from which no light ever escapes. Rive Gauche comes in a shiny metal cylinder, and if it's good enough for Yves St Laurent ...
  10. This is a grossly soulless and valueless piece of stupidity. I am offended that they think I am stupid enough to find this crap interesting.
  11. Re the Breacon clip: it's about 17 minutes, and for the first 13 or so, it's staged interestingly. Deacon keeps moving away, and Brooke follows him, over and over.
  12. I was convinced it was Mallory. She really is the best ever: it's just that now she has people to do all the heavy lifting for her.
  13. So I can't be the only one who thinks Ridge and Shauna got married in Vegas, right? Right?
  14. Quinn was way out of line suggesting it was somehow Sally's fault her parents deserted her. But could that be laying the groundwork for some sort of genetic disorder and her parents didn't leave but died? And now Sally has it?
  15. I'm so happy Grace and Frankie are back. But I'm a little confused ... has the vibrator business been closed? Bankrupt giving away freebies? Sold for a gazillion bucks?
  16. I love that coat (and the guy) and when I pointed out that ad to my husband, he said "If you actually see that coat, BUY it."
  17. In our household, we're calling him "Yodel." Or her. Ya know.
  18. OK I loved this episode, and I am delighted to have Chidi back front and center. But. My son is giving 5 to 1 odds that it's Jason who will save humanity. And I am not betting against that one. Jason, for all that no one ever called him smart, clearly has the highest emotional IQ of Team Cockroach. Remember how Janet described him at his "funeral" as basically a big old ball of sweetness and light, able to see her for her real value as an individual. And when Eleanor was telling Michael to wake up Chidi so he could save them all, Jason leaped forward, saying "I'll do it!" Jason for the win!
  19. Sorta kinda on topic? Dr. Wayne Shady sings "Thriller"! https://nerdist.com/article/thriller-jazz-postmodern-jukebox-cover/
  20. So they were in Rome long enough that Trixie got seriously into gelato, and Chloe was recruited by a Jesuit hit squad?
  21. Wait. What? A crossbow? How is that about challenging a top-notch "Bladesmith"?
