If it were Lexie he would've lectured her. I do agree Xander shouldn't be considered redeemed and I don't really like that Maggie seems to favor him over her own daughter(who had valid reasons to distrust him over the years). However my point is that they at least have a relationship we have seen on screen. Before this storyline I don't recall a time when Steve/Maggie interacted. They loved the same people(Jack/Jennifer and their kids/grandkids) but that's about the extent of it. It would have more stakes involved with Xander where Maggie is concerned.

I personally don't care for Abby either but Chad doesn't have many options in the romance department. I would be fine with him just being a single dad until they find the right woman but who knows how long Days will last before that happens. I do know after Stephanie I appreciated Chabby a bit more in comparison.

Only this show would think Chad should hate EJ more than Stefan.

Well if it isn't going to be Tate I think Parker could work. I mean he lost his dad, his mother ignores him most of the time and the only stable parents he had split because his grandpa came out of the closet. That's something the show could work with decent writers that is.

This Kon story would be so much better if Xander was in Steve's role instead. He would be far more believable as Maggie's protector than Steve would(and I like Steve but still).

I'm a Nicole fan and much prefer her with a morally grey character like EJ and while I do like EJ/Nicole together even if it wasn't him someone similar to him would be preferable to Eric.

Abe had legit reasons to be angry with Lexie and if he left her and took up with Faye like I wanted him too he'd have my full support (plus being paired with Abe held Lexie back in a lot of ways but I digress). His moral compass was always consistent then. Where Abe and this show lose me is that he glosses over whatever Paulina has done though and never gave Lexie that same level of grace IMO.

That's what I thought also but Xander/Sarah didn't meet until well after the fact I believe.

I personally find Theresa being awful in every way but I do find it a bit odd that he's not as protective over her as I thought he would be. My point is at least with Tate they have something to draw from unlike Holly where they're just slopping it together and it doesn't work. I think they have a place on this show but they need to switch airtime with Johnny/Chanel.

I think she's not used to playing a mom of a teen daughter(which is funny since she has a teen daughter in RL) but onscreen how often did we see Nicole/Holly together? They quickly SORASed her overnight and are trying to create this insta mother/daughter bond that we didn't see happen. Unlike Tate where I find it far more organic given the different relationships he has with his parents.

I don’t dislike them like everyone else does either. I have seen worse couples on this show. I do wish they would delve into family drama with them though. Like her family not approving her being tied to a mob family etc. Or Tripp being torn by it etc I don’t get why this is so hard to write?
