I have never understood, why they do that. Ina does it too for Jeffery. Makes them look stupid.

Past Episodes: Chicken 100 Ways, Jeffrey, and Hampton Elite

Love the new episode they looked like they really had a good time. Very enjoyable to watch. -
Not sure why you would say stolen. I have seen very few original recipes that are not tweaked a little and called the cooking host recipe. I am sorry buy most of the host on Food Network cook things that have been around for a long time just tweaked a little or say the volume turned up. Does that mean that they stole all the recipes also? I have made a chocolate cake very similar to the Ina's for years, got the recipe from my grandmother, doesn't mean that Ina stole it, it just means she put her own spin on a classic recipe. Ree does the same and her show appeals to a large audience, hence the good ratings.

I thought the boys looked like they were having a lot of fun. What a neat clubhouse for them to have. I agree the food was appropriate for the boys and looked good.

I watched the breakfast bbq episode last night. Not sure when it was rerun, I had it on my DVR. Love the episode, but it is the one where she makes the runniest scrambled eggs in the history of man. All the butter and goat cheese, yuck. Like the rest of the episode though. -

Director Rob Marshall and his partner John DeLuca were visiting with their dog. It was a fun episode, it was Cocktails and Cookies (Barefoot Contessa Cooking with Friends) They are rearing it on July 28th. Sun, July 27 is Easy as Pie (Baking and blooms are on the menu as Ina shares the secrets of pie making with her friend Michael in exchange for some floristry magic. There are Raspberry Corn Muffins to welcome him to the barn, then Ina shows him how to make foolproof pie crust, a fabulous Fresh Blueberry Pie and a Strawberry and Rhubarb Pie. Then from flour to flowers, it's over to Michael's where he shows Ina the secrets of a showstopping table centerpiece.) Sun, Aug 3rd is Bread and Butter (Ina's on a nonstop bread adventure with her friend Eli Zabar, the bread guru. For lunch there's Fennel and Garlic Shrimp, perfect to eat with his Country Bread, he's sharing the secret recipe, and Ina's using it in delicious Provencal Cherry Tomato Gratin. Then she's assembling a beautiful bread basket and in a meeting of their two passions, they're having a bread and butter tasting.) There are more listed. -

Love the new episode this last weekend. Really nothing new, except the dog biscuits. She looked like she had so much fun making this one. It was a delight and she was very relaxed during the whole thing. -
It was when Kristen Ritter was talking about going gluten free and dairy free I believe.

The sister-in-law's house, all I can say is Wow. It looked huge. I enjoyed this episode. The food looked good and people did seem to be having a nice time.

I didn't think it was possible for but the Richard's actually made the Browns look good.

I am done, I really don't care for any of them. I would not watch a cooking show with any of the people who are left. I just can not take watching one more episode with Sarah in it.

All Episodes Talk: Admit it. You Can't Stand The View.

Yes it is and I am curious just when did Alaska get moved into America's heartland? -
One of the problems buying bulk in Eastern Oklahoma (I live in Tulsa) is we don't have a Costco yet (soon though and so excited) or a BJ's. We have Sams. Some people I don't know about her, will not shop with the Walmart family of stores. The store she went to is a local and employee owned super market, really the best we have in the area if I remember right. I believe she went to Reasors. I am not disagreeing with you by an means, but just letting you know what we have close.

If you read the catholic 10 commandments it is as follows: I. I am the Lord your God: you shall not have strange gods before me. You shall not make for yourself a graven image, so they were pretty much right.

The very first episode, when Bartlett makes his grand entrance: John thinks that they should begin to honor the 1st Commandment, "honor thy father and mother" which Toby angrily declares to be the 3rd commandment. John asks angrily what the 1st commandment is. President Bartlet enters and loudly declares, "I am the Lord your God. Thou shalt worship no other god before me." "Boy, those were the days." just love Martin Sheen and his delivery.

I really liked the owner of the hotel on last nights episode. He seemed overwhelmed with grief and stress. but he was a good guy who accepted all of the ideas Anthony had. Not to mention the place was clean.

Love the store she is visiting, I can go and spend hours looking around.

When she gives the entire meal to Dwyer, her kitchen was being remodeled and she was having company. At least Dwyer brought her Chinese and flowers. -

Making Ina's Recipes at Home: How Easy is That?
Diane replied to Bastet's topic in Barefoot Contessa
The easiest way to shuck corn is to cut the bottom end off and microwave the corn in the husk 2 for about 3 minutes and then push the corn cob out of the cut end. Almost no silk sticks to the cob. Saw this on America's test kitchen, works like a charm.
