One eye covered, it looks almost as ridiculous as Nate's former side part. She sports that look again, I'm going to start calling her "Left Eye." Oh, note to JG, we're not forgetting Phyllis has violated her plea deal probation agreement, and we are all expecting to see her working her community service gig, like real soon.

Nikki Nose Up mentoring Audra? That's rich..Audra has a credible corporate employment profile, and has nailed two nepos (Noah & Kyle) enjoys Tucker as a f*** buddy, and has Nate drooling over her like the village idiot. I think at a comparable age, Nikki was still trying to figure out the best way to keep her stripper pole greased. The only help Audra might want from Nose Up is how to remove Grampire's wallet from his deep pockets. IMO, if Audra doesn't file a complaint with the EEOC, and sue NE for Nikki's 1975 workplace approach and practices of meddling into a female subordinate's private life, then Audra clearly has some larger goals in mind for her tenure @ NE. Glad Chance is being given his chance to continue failing upward in the GCPD as Chief. Welcome to the "GC Billionaires' Spawn Club," Chance.

I hope Victor hasn't failed to note that Victoria's response to her demotion has been a reaction, that has been far more nasty than any of Adam's reactions when Big Daddy dressed him down. His so called "dementia" had a very sudden onset, IMO. There was never any such talk of that before, when everything was going in the favor of his wretched witch of a daughter, except from the posters here.

Excuse me, but what are any of these characters doing all day, besides rotating around a coffee house, jazz lounge, or a restaurant? No currently "in progress" or proposed projects are ever discussed, coming out from the Jabot perfume brand or luxe life home furnishings department run by Dummer. What, since the identity reveal of Ashland Locke, was the last big media coup argued over by NE or CW? Omegasphere? In order for all of these corporate intrigues and proposed takeovers to capture my imagination, I'm afraid I need to see a little more product passion, rather than a revolving cast of trash talkers. What would be the motivation for the current characters to protect or maintain any of these companies, other than their family names? None of them have watercoolers, lunch rooms, or coffee break rooms, even those stereotypical business place wateringholes have been outsourced.

IMO the only changes we'll ever see from Phyllis will be any new rotten idea she'll come up with herself, or cosign to advance someone else's criminal agenda. Did we not just see her sign on with Jeremy "Velour" Starke to bring Diane down a few months ago? Now, she's going to play devil's handmaiden for Tucker? At least she and Starke had a common goal. Now she's signed up just for the money. Yawn. I gave a lot of thought to the posts some wrote about the character of TGVN being removed from the cast. Wasn't there something in his contract that said that character can't be ended? I agree it is sad to see Eric Braeden trying to act young and restless, when he is so aged and joyless. I think some actors know in their hearts when it is time to leave the stage. I would hope he has that kind of innate dignity about his craft. He is no longer able to bring gravitas to this role, IMO. I think it is up to him to call it a day. Should I be in his situation, I would let the end of John Aniston (DOOL) be my guide. Spending 80% of your character's time slumped in a chair is not the way to go. He should gracefully let this role go, and enjoy the accolades about his body of work, while he is alive, and can appreciate them. I would say he and ski slope nose Nikki need to go off on their proposed vacation, and decide what they really want is to live out the rest of their days in their Italian palazzo, villa, the Villages in Florida, Catalina Island....whatever.

I think the posters finding Victor's condescending and cavalier treatment of Lily off-putting are correct. More of JG leaving women in the power of a man's decision. Just own it, and change the shows opening song to "This Is A Man's World." Correct me if wrong, but I also seem to think transfers like his could under some sort of regulations that mandate transparency. Had CW done the IPO, it would have. As to Phyllis and Tucker colluding to hack BA's financials, IMO they have such small, and petty goals. People are hacking casinos and banks for ransom, and these two underachieving idiots just want to find out how much wampum Billy got? They could hack something for billions, and walk around GC with money to burn, after using their ill gotten gains to buy out, each and everyone of these inept empires that seem to rankle them so. As for Phyllis' hair today? Giving side-part Nate a run for his money? It looked like a mushroom cloud of her real hair plopped on top of some extensions that were well past being used. Like they had been found stuffed in the back of her dressing room closet, or the bottom of a tote that she'd spilled some to go coffee from Crimson Lights in. Unless someone can let me know where to find unprocessed ORANGE baby Yak hair, I'll have to go with that.

I did not know that when you go to a Paris patisserie, that they attach a complimentary honey bun to the back of your head like the one Ashley was sporting in her flashback scene today. Maybe they limit it to only visiting corporate ballers from GC. Thank God it was not undercooked, to match the rest of her overprocessed "wall of color" bleached blond hair. It seemed to me to have a nice brown, crisped tone. Today was Tucker's "mansplaining tour" about being home from his honeymoon without Ashley, while the rest of the city speculates. I'm a bit weary of Tucker's "no answer is my answer" gambit, or no one believing anything his inscrutable self ever says. Anyway, isn't it a bit chilly today in Wisconsin for Abby's short shorts? Highs currently in the mid 60's with 13 mph winds? Maybe she was just off to a practice session of her GC Women's Roller Derby Team. As to Tuckers raging voice-mail to Ashley, in his hotel room, followed by a phone toss, and contrite message #2, did he somehow forget he had had a bout of revenge sex with Audra just a couple of hours before?

Heather appropriated "motherhood by proxy" of Lucy the same way Summer (and everyone in GC) ignores the fact she is not Hairyson's, bio mom, and that Tara Locke has not had removed, or relinquished, her parental rights, to the best of my knowledge. Of course, with Heather being a lawyer, there is an expectation she would be a bit more savvy about this. More signs that JG doesn't know much about scriptwriting, or anything else, IMO.

Yeah, can you imagine being a CEO or an executive from any corporation, outside of the Newman wheelhouse, and trying to figure out on a daily basis who to call to conduct business with at Newman or Jabot? This "Wheel of Corporate Mis fortune" would end most companies if vendors and customers knew how erratic their management is. So, is the great plot writer (not) JG going to let the great obsessions of Nikki, Phyllis, and Ashley versus the "Damsel in Distress Diane", just wither on the vine now?

Appears to me that there is a serious lack of brassieres in GC. Phyllis, Nikki, even Lauren, who works at Fenimore's. Almost as baffling as the lack of interesting storylines, eh?

That's all you and most of us viewers have, because that's all JG, the atrocious scriptwriter is giving us. This corporations' storyline is a fail due to the fact none of them appear to have any actual products or promotions currently. Newman Media vs Chancellor Winters and the tension about the reveal of Ashland Lockes's true nature was worth watching. What is the fate of "Marchetti Homes"? Does Summer actually design anything anymore, other than plots to keep her mother out of jail? The lack of any new products out of Jabot stinks, excuse the pun. What would be Newman Media's BIG STORY to unleash internationally? That Victoria is screwing Nate, and in keeping with the incestuous tendendencies of her father, Victor's going to screw Nate next? A clue for the future of this show is in that old Elvis song's lyrics, "A little less conversation, a little more action, please."

BTW, can anyone remember what happened to the construction company Nick owned? I seem to remember Noah being part of it prior to his decision to become the Steve Rubell of GC. And while I'm talking about businesses that seem to be MIA, or "corporate orphans," has anyone been seen at or even mentioned Noah's Glam Club in GC lately, or is everyone firmly ensconced at the Neil Winters Ghost Jazz Club? Maybe JG needs treatment for an attention deficit disorder?

I agree about Nikki, I don't think I have ever heard anyone say, "To what do we owe this pleasure?" with so much venom dripping from their fangs, as Nikki did to Audra today. With that said, I found Audra's visit to Victor to confirm her job "security" at NE off-putting. She is allegedly the CEO. With that career profile, she really doesn't need to be going hat in hand to advocate for her position. If they did let her go, she should supposedly have other irons in the fire, so to speak. It's not like she's a manager at a fast food joint, or working mid level retail management. Her groveling to Grampire seemed incongruent, IMO.

Just checking in to wonder if it's a job for any of you other posters to watch this show of corporate "Musical Chairs?" Victor and Ashley making rapidly cycling decisions...if these were real businesses definitely the interwoven personal, family relationships, grudges, and competitiveness would take them all down. The only other thing I got today was a definite John Malkovich in "Dangerous Liasions" tone of voice and vocalizations from TSJ, when he was arguing with Ashley about letting her Jabot obsession go...very interesting!

I can't decide who Kody reminds me of most....Manson or David Koresh. If I was his wife, or an ex, I would put the kibosh on any holiday family dinners. Sorry, to me he puts out family annihilator vibes. He literally has had every wife, but Robyn and her children in emotional choke holds for years, IMO.

Well, I tuned in today for the privilege of watching Ashley alternate between being an insecure harpy, or a neverending nag. Her ego defenses crashing on the honeymoon morn, because of her nightstalking of Tucker, didn't say strong feminist to me. Which would be one more reason for her to re-engage with a bra. Her team sagging into her waist looks horrible. The runaway Connor focus today made me think that it was a show device that will be sending him away soon to live in the "Land of Unseen GC Spawn." Is that post nuptial only addressing divorce? Somehow I got a creepy feeling Diane and Tucker are in cahoots, and Auntie Jack had just been sent to Death Row. Also, from the look of things, the number of commercials CBS sells and runs during this show, don't seem to correlate with revenues coming BACK to the show's production budget.

BTW, probation and community service for Phyllis was ridiculous, as we have all agreed, but shouldn't that judge have ordered Phyllis to pay the GCPD financial restitution for the costs involved in that investigation for her faked death? Get with the real world 2023, JG. Also, how long will it take before we get to hear Chance blubbering about the privileged citizens of GC always getting a pass?

I am holding out for a hope that the AFTRA-SAG strike will continue. Unless JG & his cast decide to be bigger scabs than they have already demonstrated themselves to be, perhaps the network will substitute old episodes, when they run out of new ones? Praying.

Haven't been posting due to a house move. Got a new phone, hard to find site. Anyhoo, Phyllis got her pass from JG today and that pretty much ends this show for me. Wrapped it all up in about 2 days per usual, with a resolution that doesn't resemble anything I can relate to as creative or imaginative. This show really doesn't deserve the fan base and great posters here it still has, IMO.

I thought Ashley was either dressed up and coiffed like some Marvel Comics super-villian today, or cosplaying Cruella DeVille. Billy giving advice to Phyllis launched the show into a whole new level of absurdity. What's up with Phyllis' lip line? Why is her lipstick applied an inch over it, on her upper lip? It looks trashy. Loved it that Carson, the ambulance driver went MIA, surely Phyllis has empathy for anybody taking that course, given her own track record! Someone needs to show the guy playing Devon the outtakes of how he looks when he is kissing Abby. He has a less than engaged appearance, more like repulsion, IMO.

I saw what Sharon was wearing today when they went to see Victor, before I switched channels. All I could see was she looked like some punked out version of those dolls with crochet dresses grannies used to make to put over their spare toilet paper rolls. The front of the bottom half of the dress actually looked like a crumpled toilet paper roll to me.

I can't watch it either since Sharon kissed Chance, and teamed up with Adam and Nick as a corporate mogul. IMO, first Adam and Chance will bicker about Sharon. Chance will decide to leave GC, or be killed (Sharon's kiss of death for cops). Then Sally will "leave town," so Adam and Nick can fight over Sharon, who will end up with, who else? Nick. That combined with JG moving towards "making Phyllis right," so she will end up back with Jack, has made this show unpalatable for me. Still, I love coming here to read all your funny and insightful posts!
