  1. They should just say god, we all know it's what they mean.
  2. I hate "accent walls". Dining rooms in older styled houses should have wallpaper, and bold wallpaper at that.
  3. I hate women like the rancher one. If you want to get married so bad ask him. Take control of your own life, and stop being a passive aggressive whinner. Yuck. Make sense that she would so want open concept lol.
  4. I don't understand at all what was so wrong with that 2nd Wales house. But I have noticed that every time the agent comes up with a compromise place both buyers absolutely HATE it.
  5. That Austin 19-year-old would have been stupid to buy a condo where the bedroom has no window and it's across the street from Phi Delta Rape.
  6. I used to think I knew what cold was too until the first time I was WET and cold. That combo was the worst. She might be the same. Or maybe she was trying to psych people out? She did last longer than most (jerko Ben) thought she would.
  7. I entertain some in my closed concept house and have had no trouble, counter to what HGTV swears. Plus I hate having to look at my kitchen when I'm not in it and I like different rooms to have different looks. And it's cheaper to heat and cool! As for wood countertops, I find they're not worth it. Between wear and tear, germs, water etc I'd rather have solid stone.
  8. They used to be enough for me, but not so much any more. Their houses are almost carbon copies of each other.
  9. I didn't like how Erin described random things as "feminine". She's making huge assumptions and assigning stereotypes that need to end. She seems to be doing the same to her daughter.
  10. I'm not sure if that makes what the brothers do to those houses worse or better.
  11. Houses need more people like Erin and Ben to keep beautiful ones like that craftsman and the carriage house from becoming HGTV open concept grey/white monstrosities.
  12. Owen's dad should be charged with funding terrorism.
  13. Why do you hate them so much??
  14. The Portland woman made me so glad I don't live in Portland. I did hate her makeup. She was very pretty but there is a way to do an extended eyeliner and what she did ain't working. S Hated her eye makeup and I question her age also. Think she is at the very end of her 40's or over. Also her speech. Did she think that was cool/rad in her words.
  15. They already had a full grown dog, the puppies were just extra fun for viewers 🙂
  16. Yikes. It's scary and disappointing to read all the hate for the woman moving to Portland.
  17. Or ruining a lovely Victorian to make an open concept monstrosity just so he can watch football sometimes?!
  18. Dated shmated. Liking things only based on what's trendy almost sickens me.
  19. Everybody doesn't know, that's the problem. Too many people think children act out just because they're brats. Too many parents think their badly behaved children wake up in the morning wanting to personally annoy them. Children's bad behaviour is most easily corrected by correcting the parents. Not the children. She had the sleep technique in a previous episode, not to mention at least a dozen episodes over the years. Same with time outs. It's time for parents to stop blaming their children and start looking at themselves.
  20. Why is publicly shaming a child because the parents suck entertaining? Thankfully Jo and producers have realised how horrible that is and are putting the blame and spotlight on the correct characters.
  21. That is ALWAYS the case. Every.... single.... episode. It's the parents not the children.
  22. She AND her husband were so focused on getting children that they didn't put much thought into raising them. Not to mention she was taking on everything while the hubby did diddlysquat.
  23. She actually said the kids a number of times. I remember because I was slightly surprised and pleased.
  24. Not really that annoying. She didn't want her daughter to feel like a guest, she wanted her to feel like a member of the family. Make sense to me. Same for her step-son. When he stayed she wanted him to have an actual room. That wasn't like the people who want an entire room for adult visitors that MAY come for a week a year.
