I actually feel different about the Austin lady house hunter. I felt bad for her. She's obviously had to give up her career and a lot of her daily creative brain power to instead raise THEIR children. She was looking for a project to finally use the brain she was given. As for not letting her husband have opinions I agree with her. He had a chosen field that she wasn't butting into while he thought it was okay to tell her what to do in the field she was trained in. I'd be annoyed as well.

It will be interesting to see how many (if any) are Black home and business owners.

A too many didn't.

That Dallas mother needs to be told that a pool is 1000 times more dangerous to her children than household stairs.

You've obviously never read the All Creatures Great and Small books... Just like all too many they either inherited it or got it illegally. -
Million Dollar Listing LA - General Discussion

I think James (or was it David?) made too much of what Tracy said. It's a competition for godsakes. Of course she's going to try and make she gets the listing by pointing out that you're not treating the seller as if you care. -
I don't like the idea of laundry on a higher floor. If your washing machine breaks that water is going to ruin a lot more than if it had been on the main level or in a basement.

My calculation has always been Fake Drama = changing the channel.

I think about all the money Mina and Steve spent that could have gone to raising a foster or adopted child.

As I said before it's more complicated than that. It's a bit like how black people on SNAP (food stamps by another name) are happy they probably won't starve to death BUT they'd rather not be impoverished to begin with. They would rather the systematic racism that keeps them poor be addressed. It's the same on the Caribbean islands.

I had 2 LOL moments in the Waco episode: the Doogie House-hunter joke and the one that Laura Ingalls Wilde had decorated the kitchen of the last house.

Look at the reasons WHY black families have empty pockets, and why they're a majority race on that island but not the owners of business like this one.
-
Sigh. It's a problem that is so much deeper than that.

That Arkansas family needs to use some of the money he's so desperate to show off to get their children some therapy.

The only good reason to have an extra public space upstairs is to get away from open concept. When open concept obsessed designers have one it's an admittance that, no, everyone does not automatically love open concept. There are people who want to watch tv and socialise without being able to see/smell/hear their kitchen.

You can be happy for a job and still sad/angry/frustrated that someone white is always your boss. Especially when you live somewhere where white is the minority.

Nothing with hiring them, I'm just sad that they're not the ones in charge.

Glass himself admitted that he does. I think this vocal fry thing is over diagnosed. My voice as always been naturally lower and a bit raspy. Can't help it.

YES!!!! I can't stand women who sit around waiting for a proposal, hinting about it. Just do it yourself you door mat! It's your freakin' life! Also women who turn their male mate whenever there's a question of money. Ugh.

That was the only thing I liked, those cabinets. The green, Praise the Decorating Lords no white, and the pulls. Best thing in the whole house. Well, second to the chandelier by the door.

The owners (stars of the show?) are too annoying for me. All their whining about money, when they're obviously rich gets to me. As does white people coming in and hiring poor blacks. I feel a bit bad for their kids.

That house in Fountain Square, the most recent, was laid out horribly! The living and dining rooms were just a wide corridor. A hallway, not rooms. I wonder, with the huge price increase FS has seen how many residents have been priced out.

Where was the father of the Flint's daughter's son?

I guess if something bad happens you just can't get as much insurance money? Its too bad sometimes that DAs don't use all of the laws available to them.

I don't think it's illegal period, just what YOU have is illegal. Other things are considered beside egress windows (2 egress are usually required, door and window). There's minimal square footage and horizontal size, ceiling height, heating and cooling etc. Though some places sadly still have no requirements. I guess the answer (?) is to move there and hope nothing happens.
