  1. Crossover with Bob Hearts Abishola on that show on March 14
  2. You're welcome Highlights for March (check your local listings): Rick Steves: Why We Travel, March 1 Expedition: Unpacked with Steve Backshall, 4 part series, premiering March 16. Details the behind the scenes stuff that happened during the first season of Expedition with Steve Backshall Frontline: Pelosi's Power, March 22. About House Speaker Nancy Pelosi; The Plot to Overturn the Election, March 29 Great Performances: The Conductor, March 25. The first woman to conduct a major symphony Independent Lens: Writing with Fire, March 28. India's only all-female news network Not a lot of new stuff going on. It looks like it's pledge month again at the 2 stations I watch regularly (WETA and MPT in DC and Baltimore) ETA: Also, something interesting related to the upcoming Ben Franklin doc by Ken Burns is "Benjamin Franklin and American Diplomat: A Ken Burns Public Dialogue Initiative at Georgetown University" to be broadcast by WETA (DC station) on March 26. I don't know if other stations will be playing it, but check to make sure
  3. The show is too long and includes a lot of extra entertainment stuff that could be cut as others have suggested. I guess they need to somewhat entertain viewers and not bore them with just handing out awards so some of it could stay, but 3+ hours is just too long. They should figure out how to do a reasonably entertaining but brisk show in 2 hours. At times it seems like they deliberately throw in a lot of entertainment segments just to keep it at a bloated 3+ hours
  4. Wonderful, wonderful scenes between Maxie and Brooke and working out what’s best for Bailey. I think many of us were thinking when this started that it wouldn’t end well, so this was better than probably many of us hoped
  5. I think they felt that they couldn't tell her in front of the husband because of privacy concerns (plus he may have passed it to her). It also seems they felt it was a pretty sensitive thing and felt a higher up person at the hospital should be included. I think Steven Weber's character just didn't want to get involved in that and so suggested someone higher up be involved, so Goodwin stepped in. I was confused by that myself
  6. I'm glad you said that about the stepdaughter getting cut out of the will because I was having trouble understanding what they were saying about that part of the story at the end. I had wondered why the woman wasn't saying the younger woman wasn't her stepdaughter so now it makes sense. As for the diagnosis, I guess if some hear they have Alzheimer's by a supposed professional, they believe it Maggie is not pregnant but she does have a tumor that apparently made her think she was pregnant
  7. See a loopy Tom reveal all Too bad the salsa competition didn't allow same sex couples (I presume) as Marina should have just danced with Lupe instead of dragging Connor into it because you know she wanted to. In the end, it was barely competent, but fun
  8. Poor Maggie. Some interesting stories tonight
  9. It would be interesting if Val asked for a place in BaileyLou’s life and if Charlotte asked for one as well
  10. For those wondering whether Peter is really dead or not, check the News topic
  11. Peter? He dead. Wes Ramsey says goodbye
  12. I thought Peter’s final scenes with Anna before he (supposedly) bit the dust were well done. Wes and Finola did a nice job there with Wes mostly reeling it in. I liked the other scenes with Maxie and Felicia. I think Peter is meant to be dead this time but who knows for sure. As expressed by others, it would have been nice to see the body was still there with a sheet over it, but I’m sure some would still not be satisfied. For me, it was a satisfying end to this particular storyline. Robert’s reaction to Liesel offering a drink to toast Peter’s end was pretty funny I’m not liking the turn of Sasha’s storyline but the actress is doing a good job
  13. Next 30 for 30 doc per the Futon Critic http://thefutoncritic.com/news/2022/02/23/new-espn-films-30-for-30-documentary-shark-to-focus-on-golfing-legend-greg-norman-to-premiere-april-5-118112/20220223espn01/ Also, a previous 30 for 30 doc that wasn't posted here: "The Tuck Rule", about one of the most controversial plays in sports. It was broadcast on ESPN on Feb 6 http://thefutoncritic.com/news/2022/01/19/espn-films-latest-30-for-30-documentary-the-tuck-rule-to-premiere-february-6-3211/20220119espn01/
  14. Ally actually being right about alternate selves in other dimensions and being the real big bad of the season was a left turn I wasn't expecting. I mean, we know about alternate Earth worlds and all that, but she was presented as a cult leader probably spewing nonsense, but I'm not sure we heard the specifics before of what she was actually teaching
  15. No Katherine, don’t raise morale like that

They have done something like that with their Animal with Cameras miniseries where they have fake animals made up and set up with cameras and put them in the middle of animals groups to watch what is going on
