  1. I'm a little more than halfway through and it's a really good doc. Gabby is made of strong stuff to survive and thrive after such a devastating injury. And her husband Mark is pretty strong too
  2. The show’s promo for next week confirmed it’s the Fall finale
  3. There certainly seemed to be sparks between Regina and that undercover DEA agent. And that commanding officer or whatever his rank calling out Regina at ComSat was nasty like he had some agenda against her. She shut him down at the end with the successful joint operation with the DEA
  4. Big news for Disney that might or might not affect the Who deal with Disney+, Bob Iger is returning as CEO, ousting Bob Chapek. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/disney-bob-iger-returning-ceo-bob-chapek-exits-1235266823/

I haven't watched the particular episode yet, but this is one of those things where you think why don't the people just rise up? But if there is strong repression by the government, it's not that easy. But the various Russians protesting have been very brave to do so in spite of the repressive pushback.
  6. Any idea when the season finale is in the US? Having only 10 episodes suggests it is Dec 11 unless there are further breaks
  7. Thank you. I was just going to post a question as to when The Equalizer was supposed to return mid-season because I just noticed it wasn't on my TV schedule file for January and CBS's announcement on November 14 of its mid-season premieres and returns didn't include it
  8. In case someone wants to look it up, it's spelled Huntington's, more accurately Huntington's Disease From Wikipedia for those who want more info https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huntington's_disease
  9. Ruby Sunday sounds too much like Ruby Tuesdays, a restaurant chain in the US. And I have no idea who Millie is other than what others say, but I hope I enjoy her; she seems a little young to me though
  10. Christmas special http://www.thefutoncritic.com/video/2022/11/18/video-who-killed-santa-a-murderville-murder-mystery-official-teaser-netflix-937110/20221118netflix03/
  11. Yeesh, she blames it on her dad, saying he sexually abused her for years and he supposedly found Caylee, but she doesn’t know how she died or for sure knew she was dead until her body was found. Sounds twisted and odd and I’m skeptical. She comes forward 10 years later, yet pieces are still missing
  12. Never mind, the 2 hour Fall finale is right; my DVR finally caught up with the listings
  13. So Sasha, Kevin and Kate were eliminated. I thought Sasha and Kate were just ok and Kevin was pretty good
  14. New companion for Ncuti Gatwa’s 15th Doctor is played by 18 year old Millie Gibson, playing Ruby Sunday https://www.doctorwho.tv/news-and-features/millie-gibson-is-the-new-doctor-who-companion-ruby-sunday
  15. Parijita - very good Kique - pretty good Kevin - pretty good Alyssa - good, though she sounded a little out of tune at times Justin - pretty good Morgan - pretty good Eric - pretty good and theatrical Kate - ok, she sounded out of tune Devix - pretty good Bryce - good Rowan - good Brayden - good Bodie - pretty good Overall, a pretty good night. Some of the contestants had good vocals but a boring performance
  16. I saw a promo for the next episode and it’s only an hour at 10 and the promo didn’t say it was the Fall finale, though The Futon Critic is still listing it as a 2 hour Fall finale. I wonder if the week after will be the Fall finale or they will just have it return on Jan 3 or something?
  17. I thought Omar was bad and the song just wasn’t right for him. It felt like he was out of tune the whole time Kim was pretty good Sasha was ok. She sounded out of tune at times To be continued
  18. Companion for Ncuti Gatwa’s 15th Doctor will be introduced on the Children in Need special tonight on the BBC. The show runs 7-10pm UK time https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-63662940
  19. Schedule-wise, it looks like Thursday Nov 24 is a repeat of last year’s Thanksgiving episode, and the show is preempted on Friday Nov 25 for college football Man, they totally psyched me out with Elizabeth. I really thought she was going to do a c-section on Esme. I mean given the really bad time she’s been having lately, I figured she just didn’t give a damn about protocol and was ready to do whatever it took to save the baby and by extension help Nic
  20. Man, that was a tough case for Gallo when the guy just dropped off the roof in mid conversation
  21. I’m skeptical that Bev was that far into dementia and still able to take care of herself and not look disheveled or smell terrible because she forgot to change her clothes or shower, which I don’t think Harris mentioned. My dad had dementia and he started to forget things, like what he had just asked me 5 minutes before, but for the most part, he didn’t start to forget to change or take a shower until my brother got he and my mom into assisted living. I don’t think he forgot who we were but he definitely had trouble remembering friends. His health went rapidly downhill when my mom passed and he died 4 months after she did. So I have a hard time buying Bev had forgotten her daughter but was still able to live alone as it seems forgetting your close loved ones is likely one of the last memories to go. And yes, the scenes with Bev were hard to watch given my experience with my dad
  22. I thought Lauren or someone said Lauren had only just started to get involved in DOS when things hit the fan and she wasn’t in charge, or am I thinking of someone else?
  23. Nellie appeared to know better and probably had better advice. I honestly thought she was going to tell the patient she was a sexual assault survivor too, so her confession that she was undocumented threw me for a bit Overall, I liked the episode too. Can an alcoholic really have good kidneys to donate if their liver is borderline good? Is it because a liver gets more damaged with alcohol abuse?
