  1. CBB 3 is proving to be the CBB of 1,000 Apologies. Part PR, part genuine.
  2. Sorry, I don't know the number, but it was worth watching. It was my introduction to Anna Delvey. After seeing it I got Rachel's book, which I can't totally recommend. Sooo much boring filler, but the parts about Anna were interesting. She definitely didn't look that great, partly because she was forbidden to wear makeup in court.
  3. I'm assuming they were told not to play cards as a group, because the only thing more tedious than watching various people play solitaire would be watching 8 hours of say, Todd, Todrick and Lamar playing gin rummy. People tire of solitaire faster than they do of group games, especially if there's any betting involved. Or laughing.
  4. I've never skipped so much in any previous episode. Julie! You usually look so nice but what's the deal with the shiny flipper shoes? Were they transparent? They make the pink croc heels look good. Todd as a Teletubby. 🤣 I liked him more as the season went on and he woke up. Over the years, Julie's grown into a really good live interviewer. The Chenbot is a dim memory. I thought she handled Lamar's interview well, considering there was never any way to know what he was going to say. He stayed pretty appropriate though. Wow, the final 3 are so excited! I've never seen Cynthia so animated - she was so sure she was leaving.
  5. She wore a lot of leisure wear. Big deal. Todrick should talk!
  6. Maybe no dirt bag husbands have been killing their wives, and no crafty black widows have been conveniently killing their multiple husbands? No, it can't be that. 😁
  7. Wow! He can really sing! I guess in the BB house he's hampered by not being able to sing recognizable songs, which is a shame.
  8. I'll take everyone's word for outside depravity. But has he done anything in the house to equal, say, Evel Dick levels of nastiness? I can't say I've seen it, and I always read the live feed threads. This is not me defending him I any way. I believe he must not be a nice person to be so hated by so many. But in the house, I only recall him being verbally mean to Chris Kirkpatrick and lying about Shanna. Has he done worse? Precisely.
  9. I'm just watching RHAP's recap from last night and they HAAAAAAATE Todrick!! Normally they never talk too badly about anyone, but the 4 of them trashed Todrick for a good 10 minutes. It was surprising but also very funny. Their Todrick hate seems to predate CBB by a lot, so they came in hating him and it's just gotten worse. As a person who only knows him from CBB, I haven't seen him do anything particularly heinous, but clearly they have.
  10. What's most baffling is that she says at the beginning that she had an idyllic childhood, and felt happy and loved. I can't understand why she went off the rails so badly.
  11. That's actually really nice. Honest but not bitter. If you had told me before this CBB that I'd come out of it really liking Carson and Shanna I wouldn't have believed you, but here we are. They seem like decent people. I realize that's a low bar but these are celebrities! I was expecting JLo levels of self-absorption and attention seeking. (No offense, JLo fans.)
  12. I keep hearing he's a famous athlete. I'm going to need to see some proof.
  13. Lamar and Todd's Cardiovascular Casino. 😁😁 I think Todrick is bringing out the best in Meisha. You can tell she adores him. I swear that the longer the show goes on, the nicer and prettier she seems to get. I don't recall her smiling nearly as much at the beginning. Todrick’s performance was funny, but I miss Carson. Can Todd really call himself a silver fox if he's bald?
  14. I'm usually good at spotting that, but I would never have guessed Carrie was pregnant if I hadn't read it here. Maybe it will be more obvious in upcoming episodes.
  15. I enjoyed the clip show. It was a pleasant diversion, especially since it was all new footage. Relaxing to watch after hours of following the Ottawa protests. (I've discovered that everything is starting to feel like a reality show to me at this point. I kept waiting to hear what the police and protesters were going to say in the DR. 😁) Lamar REALLY has no clue how BB works. Why did he even want to be on? Just for Khloe? I still like Chris Kirkpatrick. I like how low key he is, and the way he was able to separate personal and game. Clearly Todrick loathed him. Carson was the best, on CBB at least. So funny and good natured. At this point, I guess I'm hoping for a Meisha win. She's earned it and seems very upfront about everything. I laughed when Shanna made it clear she wasn't going to say she played with integrity. Her eyeroll said she was on the same page as I am about that particular cliché.
  16. Absolutely. But I'm convinced that she's had a lot of Botox and filler. (JMHO.) When she smiles half of her face doesn't move at all. I don't think she's an extremely expressive person anyway, but this is more than that. Last night, during the family video, she was clearly emotional, but her face wasn't moving properly.
  17. Long term, it sounds like a terrible idea, and not sustainable. Although I'm a noted couch potato from way back, I do have personal experience of the permanent damage you can do to your body and metabolism through extreme caloric restriction. Plus I'm sad that young women everywhere will see an extremely strong, fit woman with a slim muscular body, still starving herself to lose almost 20 pounds. What a missed opportunity. Am I right in assuming male fighters also do this extreme tinkering with weight? (I've heard jockeys do it too. I know about all of the sports. 😁)
  18. I'm sad to see Carson go. He was so entertaining, and he was Carson 100% of the time. I think that's who he is in real life. His face fell a tiny bit when he started to realize what Julie was telling him about Shanna. I liked Jerry's segment, to my surprise. Not only was he self-deprecating, admitting to being a D-list actor, but he answered Julie's questions very honestly. His take on everyone seemed accurate. Meisha has really grown on me. Like Carson, what you see is what you get. I'm horrified that on top of the constant workouts she has to lose 17 pounds. Where's she supposed to lose it from? And WHY? Her self-discipline is mind boggling. I feel like I should like Lamar, given his sad stories, but it's not happening. Maybe partly because there's a whole extreme side of his life that's completely left out. CBB watchers who don't know him would have no clue, apart from vague mentions of regrets. Interesting comment from Todrick about having a difficult relationship with his mother. At least he was honest. Todd and Cynthia are fine. No strong feelings about them one way or the other. No one's mentioned that four of the Final 5 players are Black. The Cookout must be so proud of them, particularly since they were friends with Todrick. I like that most of the current cast seem sort of oblivious to it - their focus has been more on who they've bonded with the most.
  19. I hope to see you on the BBCan thread! We could use your help as attendance tends to be thin. It would be great to see you!
  20. Exactly. I can't understand why it wasn't considered theft. Anna knew she had no money and Rachel handed over her card under great duress. I read the whole thing, and just a warning... there are sections that are just pages and pages about Rachel's childhood, education, career, etc. I found these sections so dull I skipped a lot. I did find the parts about Anna very interesting though.
  21. Today I watched an interview with Julia who actually met with Anna before playing her, and she said Anna does speak several languages and is very smart. So that was true. I seem to differ from many here in thinking that the program, by showing all of Anna, including the extremely bad and unpleasant, as well as all of Rachel, doesn't tell us how to feel. We can decide for ourselves what we think about them. They didn't hold back that Anna's a narcissistic sociopath who steals and lies. Who could watch that and end up on her side? As for Rachel, the evidence was more nuanced, so I expect a difference of opinion on whether or not Anna stole from her. (I think she did.) I believe Shonda had more respect for the viewers than to think we'd think "Vivian and Neff still like Anna. She must be okay!" or "Rachel didn't win the case. What a freeloader." She gave us the evidence so we can draw logical conclusions. JMHO.
  22. Todd must be a supertaster. Winning HoH really woke him up! It was funny to see Lamar dragging Todrick through the house looking like a giant pea. I noticed Lamar was never dragging behind Todrick. Even though I'm not a Todrick fan at this point, I don't envy him this experience. Even though I'm still annoyed with Carson, I still liked him hosting the comp in the clerb. That was Survivor-level disgusting though.
  23. https://www.pajiba.com/tv_reviews/the-most-compelling-anna-in-netflixs-inventing-anna-is-anna-chlumsky.php Dustin really enjoyed the series but especially Vivian!
