I felt so bad for her. 1) for feeling such fear and/or shame for her foot that even she didn't want to look at it, and then 2) for having the world know how bad it got. She was probably mortified to have the doc and office smell that, but to be on tv, too? I know they get a discount or free care for being the show so that's why and is worth it in the end. She kept a brave face on, though. My heart went out to her.

I did not like the fridge smack dab in the middle of the wall of cabinets - it stuck out like a sore thumb. I thought it would be better in a corner or end, or if it needed to be in the middle for some reason then get a cabinet depth one. You'd have to constantly be stepping around that thing while working in the kitchen. I also did not like the front "porch" it was really just a walkway with a half-wall along it - no way you could put a table or chairs there or anything. If anything, I would have staged the drum room as the office and left the other 3 bedrooms be staged as bedrooms, but now that I think about it, did it have any windows? I also think it would have been fine to keep it as a laundry room, especially if you no longer had to step outside to get to it, and use that hall closet space for one of the small rooms. Lastly, I thought just propping that door up in the back yard was odd - why even bother? But overall, the backyard did look a lot better. All that negativity said and done, I do think it looked a lot better after. I really liked the exterior color, and the color of the floors and white accents, etc. Didn't love the furniture colors but that's just staging.

I still have MeTV, but I watched Antenna TV more so of course that's the one I lost. Guess I'll have to watch less TV..... NAH!

I, too, wish they had raised the roof a bit on the tiki bar, and trimmed that tree back that looked to be right on top of it. After taking out the shed and outdoor closet, I wonder where they put things like the lawn mower, pool tools, garden tools, etc. Whether a reno or flip that's still a need.

They kept calling it a lake house but never showed lake access, nor the back of the house (the side that faced the lake) - just what you see when you drive up and that one side. I kind of wish they had kept those cat andirons - they were freaky but in a cool way. Not sure what they could have done with them though, after converting the fireplace.

I thought it was clear the winner meal would inspire an actual meal for astronauts. However, you had to keep all those rules in mind, because no matter what some meals won't be easily adapted. For a very simple example, if you made chicken noodle soup - that's not going to work well. How to you deliquify soup?

Introversion/Extroversion is about how you get energy - extroverts get energized being around people, introverts get energized being alone. Being social or outgoing vs social awkward or shy or a loner is another dimension. There are lots of social introverts and shy extroverts. It's just extroverts would rather be alone in a crowd than alone by themselves. And social introverts need time to recharge after an outing. And then, of course, there are all sorts of gradations and shades in between. I am an extrovert but that doesn't mean I need or want to be the life of the party or in loud and crowded places. I need/want to be around people but it doesn't need to be Las Vegas during the NFL draft crowded. In fact very large crowds and loud places annoy me. I even like some alone time, it's just I get physically and mentally/emotionally drained if I'm alone too long. (and that threshold would be quite small to an introvert).

Even if Luke had been the one to go home, I wouldn't blame Jackson. As they said they were ALL tasting the dishes, and no one else apparently had any other feedback. That said, Jackson was really lacking in the front of house stuff. I, too, can't believe he didn't greet the judges as soon as he saw them. He was trying to make sure the wait staff knew he was helping, but they weren't taking feedback from the other guests. So, not to be crude, but screw them (the other guests, that is), lol. Or, ignore them while the judges are there - let the wait staff take care of the other patrons.

This was filmed when there were still restrictions on audience size and what not. Look at last year, even fewer audience members and they all had masks. I suspect next year will look more like the first season - aka more "normal".

Thanks, I know, I was referring to this show. If she is a judge on this show, that would leave room for someone else to win the West bracket. But as I also said I'd like her to take the whole thing one more time first.

Go Tiffani!!! A Brooke vs Tiffani final was my dream. I love them both so would have been happy with either winning. Brooke has proven to be a beast in the kitchen. I wonder if she'll transition to judging at some point - make way for someone else to win the West bracket. :P Not saying I want that, I'd love for her to take it one more time. Just spitballing here. LOVE that they got Morimoto for a final judge.

I know it would have cost a lot to redo? upgrade? the septic for a 2nd bathroom, but part of me wondered if it would have been easier/cheaper to add a powder room to the main house, maybe where the downstairs bedroom was? Granted, people in the extra cabin attached via breezeway would still not have a bathroom, and it's one less bedroom so who knows. Also, if it's summer and you're in the lake you don't need to go into the house to relieve yourself. :P

Yes, I really enjoyed it too. For all the same reasons - a fun, and funny, rom-com with a really good cast.
