  1. Dang. I gotta go back in time.
  2. For me there's just something about The Golden Girls - even if I've seen the episode 20+ times I still watch. It's like my comfort morning and night time TV. It's probably top of my list of shows that never get old. I'd also add Frasier, and strangely/surprisingly to many I'm sure, Reba - that show was so much better than I ever expected. Night Court, Barney Miller, Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, and Friends.
  3. I just watched the episode from the Dec 18th with the cat TNR program and Carolina Reaper farming and hot sauce making. I'm glad this show is back. I have DVR set to record and I'm always happy when a new one appears.
  4. This show came back in 2022. Anyone else watching it?
  5. I really liked this episode. It was a good Christmas episode. And that ending!
  6. I was surprised all the whiskey tasting guests were chugging bottles of the old whiskey. It was a tasting, I figured they'd open one bottle and bring it them. You don't chug right out of the bottle at tastings. At most you buy a glass of whatever your favorite was to drink after the tasting portion is finished. Or even buy a bottle, depending where the tasting is (like at a liquor store or distillery). Even if the guests decided they wanted to "paaaar-tay!" they wouldn't have known where the rest of the bottles were. So I guess we're supposed to think Sam brought down ALL the bottles to them? and just let them have at it?
  7. I've had this episode on in the background and just realized it's half over and I have no idea what has happened or what the house looks like. Guess this crew (Ft Worth) really does not hold my interest.
  8. My cat is Pickles Featherbottom
  9. Easy Rider reboot is in the works. All I can say is "Why????"
  10. Thanks. I was only half watching because I was worried about what was about to happen. I didn't hear the "dracarys", I just assumed though.
  11. I hope there's a lot less labor and delivery in season 2. It seems nearly every ep has been baby heavy in one way or another. (Yes, I know children, and family lines/trees, are important for succession I just didn't need to see so many bloody (literally) deliveries). Luke was not smart in dracarysing Vager and Aemon, even if he wasn't trying to kill them. I understand why though - he was scared, he didn't know if Aemond was going to kill him. But he also know how much bigger Vager is. BUT Aemond was wrong for thinking he could control his dragon that much, even after all this time. What did he expect Luke to do or try to do? You could see on his face he knew it was a huge mess up and the game was now ON! He knows how much Rhaemyra loves her kids, and she's about to go all in now.
  12. I grew up in the midwest and we didn't always hang out at the same place either. We even had places walking distance to the high school - strip malls with restaurants, fast food places, parks, etc. We mostly hung out at each others houses, or one of the malls (we had a few to choose from), or if before classes at school, in the choir room for some reason.
  13. I agree. There are probably many people, like me, who assumed there was some collateral damage, but not a "massacre" or how ever else I've seen it described here. I remember even noting to myself that the dragon seemed to be moving slowly and thinking that would give people time to run, as we saw so many do. I don't recall shots of the dragon stepping and crushing anyone. Logically, of course, I know several would be injured, but since I didn't see dead bodies scattered about, I just assumed it wasn't much.
  14. Oh, and one more thing Why did no one say, even to/amongst themselves that Alicent's Aegon is not the only Aegon? Even in a "if this is even true, he is not the only Aegon.." Of course, she wouldn't think or say that, nor Otto and the plotting council members, but no one else? Even to themselves? I know it's not the point and wouldn't change allegiances that are already made, it's just annoying to me, though.
  15. Random thoughts here.... I found this episode simultaneously boring and annoying. I do not think Rhaenys and dragon were "the beast beneath the boards". They weren't beneath wood - they broke through earth and stone. Aegon was hiding beneath boards, of a sort. But it may not even be him. Speaking of Aegon... for a while there I thought(hoped) he'd off himself with that dagger. I also had to laugh when he asked Alicent if she loved him and she didn't even answer. I will give her props, though, for standing between Aegon and the dragon. That was pretty badass even if it would have been ineffective against dragon fire. I do like the contrast, though (as someone else noted), of Aegon hiding behind mama and Aemond stepping in front of Helena. Aegon really is a little shit in so many ways. It is interesting that Helena pulls away from her mom. I, too, wonder what she sees/feels about Alicent.
  16. I don't know, but I wondered the same thing based on Jonathon Mangum's suit. I know I've seen it in other episodes, but then again, why wouldn't he wear it more than once?
  17. Discuss the latest season here. New eps start October 14, 2022 (Depending on source, it's either season 9, 19 or 20)
  18. Did Rhaenyra and Daemon really name their first son Aegon? It's bad enough having so many similar names, now we have 2 living characters with the exact same name.
  19. WTH does Visyris have that turns him into a walking skeleton. I don't remember seeing that in GOT. He's beginning to look like a wight. I do not like that this Rhaenyra is so soft-spoken and seems cowed most the time. Where is the fire? I am glad they could give Visyris one good family night before he passed. Darn his muttering at the end in front of Alicent. Who ordered the roast pig and then had them put it in front of Aemond? That wasn't very nice. Makes me thing it was Aegon.
  20. Dang! How much of a time jump is it? He looks to be about 30. /s (I actually know the time jump, but looks like they aged him up WAY too much).
  21. So happy to see a new episode last night! Home cooks this time, however. I felt bad that 2 of them got like 10-11 in taste. I was shocked to see scores that low. They are usually nicer with the home cooks. That said, they applied the scores fairly and it wasn't a huge span between most of them, but the one guy kind of blew them away. (Wish I could remember their names, lol)
  22. The girls were not part of that.
  23. I was so happy to see this because I was like "Dang, Rhaenyra, that's cold!". I know this is going to get brutal, don't get me wrong. I just like Laenor, too. Felt really bad for his family though.
  24. Dang! That ending.
  25. 413524 here as well
