  1. Of all the stupid things that Ava has done, going to Carly's restaurant to celebrate her freedom is up there at the top. If you're going to be villainous, be subtle. Tracy would not make that mistake. (I know, it was for plot) Come to think of it, I'm not surprised that the windows at the Metro Court are so flimsy, Carly is always hanging around the restaurant or the pool instead of doing hotel admin stuff.
  2. My bad. I forgot that it's all Ava's fault. (Why does this show always think that I'm going to root for the bad people?)
  3. Well there goes another potentially interesting character sacrificed on the Altar of Carly. Today's episode felt even more boring than usual. Another new man moves to Port Charles for Carly, Sonny and Jason plot revenge on someone Sonny is angry at, Scott and Cates look like losers for plot. If Blaze is gone, there is NO REASON for Natalia to stay on the show. Even with Blaze there, I still don't see a reason. Being Sonny's new love interest doesn't count. It's all wash/rinse/repeat for Sonny/Carly/Jason. The last interesting new thing the writers did with these characters was Sonny in Nixon Falls and even that fizzled out. Tracy and Violet having a tea party was nice but that sweet old lady was not the Lila I remember.
  4. Portia? Curtis? Surely not Stella. And I can't think that any Davis or Cassadine connection would care and Ric doesn't strike me as the type.. TJ and Jordan have been notable for lacking family. I don't think that we've ever seen any family members of Jordan or Shawn. Given that, this sounds like hysteria on the part of TJ. Why is the WSB setting up an office in Port Charles, other than Brennan has the hots for Carly? FBI covers domestic issues, CIA does international ones, and the WSB in an international spy agency who should have no jurisdiction in the USA at all. I can't imagine how people would shout if Interpol set up an office in Port Charles and started throwing their weight around.
  5. It's a good parallel to Kristina though because just like Kristina, Willow was going to give up her baby to another couple as soon as it was born. This is something that the show got right (unusual). That's the story that they should tell. Blaze is her partner, closer than stepbrother Michael, but in same sex couples, the partner is too often not considered family and not allowed to visit or have input into decisions.
  6. TJ is all about what "I" need, no thought to Molly and neither of them any thought to Kristina. I read a study a while back that half of couples break up after the death of a child. Molly and TJ need to be one of them. So Blaze was not allowed to see Kristina until now? I sense a story there, one that we are not going to get. Carly will go after any high status guy, won't she? Even one who was just in jail. Please send FH on vacation; Anna is hopeless. I'm getting whiplash from Willow's changes of career.l. Good for Maxie identifying how stupid Nina's plan is.
  7. I don't think that Molly would, and that's the problem. TJ doesn't think that he did anything wrong, if anything he didn't control Kristina enough. He has not only been an asshole through this, he is so dominant in their relationship that Molly has to plead or manipulate to get what she wants. Not looking good, Molly.
  8. Between the flimsy windows and the elevator breaking down, someone should be calling the inspector about unsafe conditions. Laura still doesn't know about the election fraud, does she?
  9. I haven't felt much good about the writing on the show these days but I id like Alexis and Sonny as angle/devil about what Kristina wants to happen. It's good soap, it makes sense given that Alexis is a lawyer and Sonny is a mobster, and it brings in some of the show's history. Has Blaze come to see Kristina yet? I don't know why Laura would want to be Portia's friend other than that Portia is Trina's mother and she's connected to Trina through Spencer. Portia is nice to look at but I cannot see any redeeming moral qualities in her. Am I supposed to be rooting for Drew/Willow? Because I saw a lot more sparks with Nina in that last scene than I ever was with Willow. Today's show reminded me that Katelyn MacMullen was very good i the scenes of Willow mourning Jonah but she needs strong material to to be interesting to watch. Most of the time Willow is milquetoast. Maybe it will be enough to get Molly to break up with TJ. The insights we've had into the relationship lately make me think that he is an anchor on her. He's judgemental, he jumps to conclusions without getting information and if he does do what Molly wants, it's grudgingly and future ammunition. With a better show-runner, Cates would be staying and Natalia would be going. This show doesn't need yet another vindictive woman who thinks that she knows better than anyone else how other people should live (hello Carly, hello Portia) . Unfortunately it feels like Natalia is staying and Cates is on the long road to nowhere.
  10. It's the "AJ was fat" logic. Donna is going to grow up to be another Joss or Michael.
  11. Kristina is who she is because Alexis was her primary parent, not Sonny.
  12. It depends on the person whether they want to get rid of everything right away or hold on (to hope). TJ was wrong trying to make Molly behave like he does. Zero marks for empathy. ETA: I wouldn't be surprised if TJ decides to give up having a baby with Molly altogether now. It's not his fertility that's the problem.
  13. Someone has to be the villain in the piece. He didn't have much of a personality before but wow did they fall over the other side of the horse. He was actually on a quarter dose for most of this story. It was only a couple of weeks ago that Ava blackmailed the pharmacist into making them entirely placebos. It's possible that Sonny was still on the old prescription (I get mine for 3 months) so maybe there was some in the pills that Donna took. Serves her right for wanting all the "candy" for herself.
  14. Carly can't overrule the law (except on this show, she always does). Ava's hotel room is in loco domum (my translation) so Brick taking those pictures is an invasion of privacy. (Was it SS's idea to have Brick being measured by his tailor for those scenes? Because it doesn't make him look suave or appealing, it makes me think that he's an asshole.) It would be easy -- narcissism with a touch of adrenaline junkie. If TJ wants to think about "my child", well that's TJ. But Molly is sitting there, worrying that Kristina may die, worrying that Kristina may be forced to have a hysterectomy because she wanted to give Molly the child that she could not bear herself. And while Molly is there praying for Kristina, TJ turns to her and basically says "enough about your sister, let's name* the child we lost". It's almost sociopathic in its lack of empathy for Molly's feelings much less everyone else there worrying for Kristina. Read the room, TJ, this is not about you (except for you and your mother). * not having a list of baby names is just more fuel that TJ and Molly weren't really ready for this baby yet. Who doesn't have a list of boy and girl names already thought out?
  15. TJ, the pregnancy didn't cause a possible hysterectomy but if she had not been pregnant WITH YOUR BABY, there would be no need for a hysterectomy, TJ wanting to name "our little girl" as Kristina is fighting for her life. He really Just sees her as a baby machine. A malfunctioning baby machine. Sam talks to Dante about the baby she lost! Now Carly thinks that Donna needs both her parents? (Also, I'm sure Jax would be interested in hearing this back when she was trying to take Joss away from him.) Jason saving the day, Carly talking to Donna, Sonny's pity party. No matter what story is going on, this show is really all about Carly/Sonny/Jason. Why does it matter if Cates' luggage was in Ava's apartment? She's free, unattached and over 21. It's none of the PCPD's business if Cates' luggage is in her room. Why is Sonny trying to jump now? I would have thought that he's stick around to see how Kristina does. Brick isn't very loyal to Sonny, handing the photos to Jason immediately when he knows that Sonny doesn't trust Jason right now. Doesn't a person have an expectation of privacy in their own home? Those photos should be thrown out in court. Sam blaming Ava instead of Natalia for the recording Poor Ava is toast. For all her talk about being strong and independent, Blaze is almost totally buying her mother's manipulations and crocodile tears. And she doesn't even bother to call the hotel to check on what's going on, or her insurance agent to check on liability. Nor to call Joss who was on lifeguard duty that day to see if she was there and how she is handling it.
  16. Poor Joss. She actually have to do her job instead of just being the poolside police. What are they doing to Ann? She's now standing for all the incompetence of the PCPD. Of course they miss the most obvious connection. I wonder how Kelly Monaco feels about being left out this juicy storlyline. I'm waiting to hear that Nina replaced them with inferior windows as she did the ice machines. It's never Carly's fault.
  17. EVERYTHING will be Kristina's fault.
  18. If Diane argues for TJ, i have no doubt the he will get custody. She will say what an upstanding fine young doctor he is, how he is in a stable relationship and loves the baby so much while Kristina is rash, no longer has a job or ability to support herself (because she stepped back from her foundation and job at Charlie's (because TJ and Molly insisted), living alone and is medically unable to care for the child. Last week we saw Diame straight out lie in court (saying that Carly voluntarily surrendered herself to Jagger) and the judge's only response was to say what a pleasure it is to hear Diane argue before her. Alexis will be unable to do anything because she doesn't want to choose between her daughters. Sam will say that Krissy is too emotionally unstable and it's best that Molly and TJ take the baby. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
  19. I agree, except that they all start with "Carly wins and suffers no longer term consequences for the decisions she makes. If not Carly, then Sonny or Jason, Michael or Joss. Because Kristina is not allowed to go anywhere or do anything for fear of endangering "my child". TJ was angry at her for going to Brook Lynn's wedding because it could have hurt his baby. Kristina quit working at her youth foundation to appease him but nothing is ever enough.
  20. Joss telling Blaze that she is Kristina's sister when Dante is standing right there.🤬 Also it sure took Joss long enough to turn Kristina over on to her back. Way to go, lifeguard. Of course Josslyn "saved Kristina's life." So what first aid did Joss do other than turning her over after Kristina had plenty of time to breath in water? Joss didn't even check if Kristina was still breathing. Yes!!!!! Carly and Olivia need to be responsible for having such flimsy windows. Why does it matter whether Ava closed the curtains or not? Brook Lynn is so naive -- of course Sonny would use mob money for the record company. Coffee importing is not that lucrative. At 8 1/2 months, the baby is considered fullterm so unfortunately it will probably be fine. The kid playing Gio really stepped up. I don't know if Alexis is but I certainly am.All that whining about "my child that I already love" as if Kristina is an automaton, all the manipulation of Alexis, he really is scum. TJ is now the worst character on the show, and that's something given Carly, Diane, Joss, Michael, Jason, Sonny ....
  21. I always thought that the pool at the Metro Court was on the roof, some from the dialogue such as where they go downstairs to the courtyard for lunch, some because of the fact that there is rarely any shade which there should be if floors tower over it. Obviously it's somewhere else (where?) if Kristina could fall out of a window in Ava's third? eighth? floor suite.
  22. TJ and Molly however will blame Kristina. How dare she go to visit Ava! At least if Kristina were in the ever-useful coma, we would miss out on the custody battle. The baby would be delivered by C-section, TJ would claim the baby and Kristina would be SOOL.
  23. Kristina is done for. She'll never survive that fall into 18" of water, much less Josslyn frozen as the lifeguard. It feels like this show gets worse and worse. Everyone is still dumping on Kristina, telling each other what an irrational person she is (when to me she seems like the only rational one), Trina is turning on Ava who not only gave her a job but an education in art, Jagger comes out of Ava's room in a towel so Ava must be immoral (what is this 1920?), Brook Lynn hires Gio as a sessional musician (does Blaze even need a violinist?) without anyone checking whether it's okay in terms of his scholarship, Sonny tries to throw his weight around again. No one questions Sonny having the money to fund a record label -- they all now that he' a mobster. I think it's time for a "Who killed TJ?" story. That, or in Springhill. I can't take any more of this.
  24. I'm guessing no one. SBu doesn't like doing romance and Jason gets so much screentime, he doesn't need a romance to put him front and centre.
  25. "Wylie is having a wonderful time at his birthday party." Cut to Wylie, Donna and James passing beachball around, the first two looking like they're bored, the James kid who really wants to do well acting with a big grin on his face. Does Wylie even have any friends that he isn't related to? (James is his mother's second cousin. And bring back Obrecht!) Was there any good soap on the show at all today? It feels like the episode consisted of everyone telling Carly how glad there is that she doesn't have to pay for her actions, the same old Sonny propping, and Anna hinting that Brennan hid the audio recording because he's so enamored of Carly. And Molly, who told TJ that she totally does not believe Kristina, telling Kristina that she does believe her. Where are the upstanding law & order genes that Alexis was boasting about yesterday?
