That and summoning Ric to his office to account for what he's going to do. Who does Curtis think he is, Michael? Sonny? Curtis and Portia are a couple of well-matched Karens. Ric told Ava that he wouldn't pursue who changed the cobalt numbers but he needed to subpoena the hospital records to compare them to the result from the other labs since it was based on the hospital numbers that Heather's case was squashed. No wonder the hospital lawyer was concerned -- it affects not only the hospital's reputation but also it's accreditation. Portia really is a fool. Good for Brad. I was surprised that all he wanted to was keep his job -- Iwould nave asked for more. A new job doing something else because if it comes out, she would lose her medical license.

Not just in a vegative-like state for years but with no indication that she will ever recover. Sure viewers know that Lulu will wake up but the characters don't. I didn't care that Anna kissed Jason -- what Robin and Jason had was a long time ago and everyone has moved on. But being friends with Carly and trying to keep her out of the trouble she got herself into is too far, considering how Carly treated Robin.

I did enjoy Alexis truth-tellling Kristina "Your dad did it because that's what he does." They really need to change the term `Karen`to `Carly` because she`s just the worst. Lucas is not her child, he`s not even a child at all, so if Ava wants to talk to him, it`s their decision. Lucas says he couldn't get close to Julian because he always found out about more bad things Julian did. Do you think, Lucas, that maybe being raised by mob parent maybe isn't a good thing? Portia is right there behind her. Why is she trying to get Brad fired? Having Brad in the lab benefits her because it gives her someone to pin the crime on if she gets caught. Portia can't get caught soon enough. Anna, getting involved with dangerous men is Carly's catnip. She's salivating for Brennan. When did Cody get smart enough to figure out what Dante is not telling him? Too bad he's yet another person excusing Sonny. Technically only Donna would lose both her parents so one child. I guess you could include Michael since Sonny raised him after he stole him from AJ but Michael is nowhere near being a child any more. He's the brilliant CEO of everything! Anna, who left her own daughter thinking that both her parents are dead. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Vinessa Antoine's (original Jordan) new show Plan B started airing this week. It's not a show to my taste but she does a good job on it.

I`d forgotten that Olivia was on the show. Nice that she`s talking to Nina now that Nina is useful. But am I supposed to think that Michael is so amazing, Kristina wouldn`t listen to Alexis or Sonny but she listens to Michael. Diane, I think that Jake is just fine without Jason around. Diane is with Jason at the warehouse on the pier, she picks up the phone and it`s Sonny. Next scene Jason is walking into the suite as Sonny is hanging up with Diane. How did Jason get there so fast? Is the warehouse down the hall? Of course the gun gets found just in time to keep Sonny from admitting that he murdered Jagger. Another day of Lucky beating himself up for not being in Port Charles for the people who need him even as he's getting ready to leave again.

I loved Lucky truth-speaking to Joss because it's past time someone said those things to her. There are too few characters speaking truth to the Carlys and now we've lost Felicia too. (If Carly is going to run a con for Sonny, have the guts to stop flirting with other men.) And then Lucky lost me because he wants to run away again just because he can't be a donor. All those speeches to everyone including Sonny about how wrong he was for staying away and abandoning his family mean nothing now. Why is Lucky asking Jason to get him a new passport? Shouldn't that come from the federal government? Jason is the person to go to for a fake passport. This show tries too hard to sanitize people. Sonny is good because he donates money, Jason is a hitman but it's excused because he saves people like Carly and Lucky, Luke was forgiven his misdeeds because he was charming, and now Lucky being unable to be a donor is because he went to places to save people and got parasites instead of it being a consequence of hi alcohol and drug use. Did Kristina have a lobotomy that I missed? Because she was never this stupid before this set of writers. We're stuck with Bigot Natalia, aren't we? sigh Yes. There aren't enough livers for everyone who needs one (sign up, people!) and being in a coma disqualified Lulu from being on the registry.

You're right! Actors re-apperaing as new characters makes it very confusing.

It felt like too much of the show today was people telling each other that they are wonderful -- Willow and Michael most of all but Chase/Brook Lynn and the principal, and Lucas/Maxie which was actually earned. There was no need for Michael and Willow to tell Wylie that Lucas looked after him when he was young other than to have another session of Willow telling Michael how wonderful he is. Wylie is too young to understand who Lucas was to him. Not surprised that Korte gave Violet the Brook Lynn and Chase because they are the most boring couple this show has seen in a long time, and I include Maxie/Franco. Although maybe if she hadn't, Korte would have had to actually write a story for them. I love Tracy, especially in her scenes with Violet. However she messed up her own children, that was great parenting. I think that I was supposed to have all the feels for Aiden telling Lucky that he is gay but it pales beside a similar scene on Arrow (although that may have been helped by the fact that Ben Lewis really is gay), There is something about the way the ES plays Holly that sets me on edge. It's an air of "I'm so wonderful, you should be grateful to have this time with me". Poor Robert, he deserves better than Diane. Or Holly who is still running the same cons she ran 40 years ago. As much as I liked Jagger, he did hurt Kristin by having Ava make that statement and then threatening to try Kristina for murder. But that pales beside what Sonny did. Funny how Carly no longer mentions Jagger's son when she was talking about him every two episodes a while ago. When Korte was given the job of head writer, there was some discussion here about whether she really is a Carly stan or is told to do it by Frank etc. I think the story lines coming out now, not to mention the dialogue, support that Korte really is the biggest Carly stan. Look! Carly saved Lucky and loves Lucas. She will probably save Lulu now by figuring out who the donor should be.

Usually I complain about the writing on this show but Lucky asking if Isaiah hit on Liz is lovely and subtle. But if Lucky is going to go around wearing his hair shirt and beating himself up for not being in Port Charles for much longer, I'm going to be wishing him back in Africa. Especially since he still hasn't gone to talk to Aiden yet, just moaned about what a bad dad he is. Also, wash your hair Lucky. So Gio loves playing outdoors so he goes to play outside Bobbie's. If only the Quartermaine mansion had some outdoor grounds where he could play. Portia is so bad at being bad. An innocent person would have wanted to know why the GH results were different and rushed to correct any problems. Why are there brain scans running on Brad's computer monitor? That's nothing to do with his lab. It's just as bad as all the General Nursing texts in Finn's office. I hope Garth got sent home from school too. Brook Lynn and Chase are so boring as a couple, the writers have to create Violet drama. Chase, what is stopping you from putting a boot on their car is the law. There are consequences for police harassment. I like the new Lucas but his conversations with Carly are pure Zzzzzzz. This is very on point for Portia, she likes her own emotional comfort and refuses to look at her actions in terms of whether they are right or wrong. She does what is required to maintain her personal comfort levels and to hell with everyone else. I'm betting that the show will justify what she is doing and handwave it all away. Just look at Ava today excusing her changing the test results. It makes me sad that people just accept what they're told instead of looking below the surface and figuring out the situation.

My local station is runnng rerums of Killjoys and I really want Delle Seyah to come on GH and smack Portia for being such an incompetent villain. Already Ric, Ava and Alexis have figured out that there may be something hinky going on and they haven't even heard that Brad is back. It doesn't feel like Stella to call someone like Bard "a bad egg", especially as she's such a Sonny propper. She usually has more empathy than that. Brad did some bad things but because he felt pressure and trapped. He's not a sociopath. Molly's inability to understand and accept that people can have shortvomings makes me very glad that she doesn't have children. I suspect the writers forgot. I know that I did.
-
Yes, please. And wash your hair. A shave wouldn't hurt either. I HATE that Brad is going to get blamed for Portia changing the cobalt results. And why is Trina being so pissy about Brad? What did he ever do to her? We haven't seen Marshall for at least four months, why did they even bother with that scene? Curtis' dialogue also seemed more like he didn't need his father than that he wanted his father to live out his dream. Was that flirting between Ric and Ava? Quoting your whole paragraph because i agree with it all. TJ and Molly are coming across as very unlikable. Twitter, however adores Molly and TJ and wants Kristina Punished! so maybe that's where the writers are taking their direction from.

They let him out after 9 years, first in a psychiatric prison and then a group home and he will be on unpleasant and toxic drugs for the rest of his life. Heather was crime'in long before she got the hip replacement. A logical person would take that into account, that she was in prison long before she went psychotic and still has to pay for that, but Portia is not a logical person. Unconscious at work. lol. Terry knows that there were problems in Liz and Lucky's relationship and that Lucky left Elizabeth alone to raise three sons. And that while he has been in touch with his biological son intermittently (not the other two who called him "Dad"), he left pretty much everything to Liz to handle alone.. Terry would be wise to warn Liz not to get her hopes up and start dreaming those adolescent dreams that she once dreamed. Liz is very vulnerable right now and there is a danger in falling for Lucky again and going through the heartbreak even worse if he hasn't changed. Portia thinks that everyone should revolve around what she wants, she's another Carly. A smart person would think that the first thing that a competent lawyer working for Heather would do, on reading the lab results, would be to send the blood to another lab for confirmation, and get an expert witness to explain what's going on. Portia is not the brightest bulb in the marquee.

The writers must have chiropractors on speed dial given how many knots they twist themselves into to make Carly the heroine of every. damn. story. I know that many people want Lucky and Liz back together but I'd really like her to tell him "What you did was hurtful and I don't want to have anything to do with you until you get your head together and make amends. You can work out your relationship with Aiden."
-
"Be a team player" I hate that expression so much because in my experience it's said to the person who is right but is being pressured to acceded to something wrong. I love how classy both Tracy and Stella look, each in their own different way. It's hard growing old. Either you die, or you don't and everyone you care for does and you lose them. Good convo between Stella and Tracy. Bad writing, on the other hand, is Ned warning Michael against Drew just before Drew looks for Willow in the boathouse. Maxie: "You are so right." Michael: "Kind of a theme with me." Me: 🤢 Oh look at Jason being all noble and throwing the card game. The best thing about Anna today was her outfit. Certainly it wasn't telling Holly that regrets breaking up her marriage to Robert, or the kill with Jason. Holly gets the drop on Sidwell, then looks away and he knocks the gun out of her hands. No wonder she's so unsuccessful in her cons. Perfectly said.

Sam truth-tells Carly what an awful person she is. Clearly Sam is not long for this world. Jordan goes to see Alexis -- in Pentonville looking at life in prison - to confront Alexis about stealing her grandson. She's as much garbage as her son is. He is the only good thing about this pathetic hi-jincks story. Anna, Jason and Holly should be ashamed of themselves.

I am sick to death of TJ and Molly and their judginess. I've hated TJ for a while, now I'm starting to hate Molly too, Kristina is a dingbat for talking to Chase without a lawyer but Dante isn't far behind, leaving her alone with Chase. So Carly buys her store's muffins from a bakery instead of making them on site. Why doesn't Diane just skip the middle woman and go direct to the bakery? I'm sure they serve coffee there too. Brennan/Carly/Diane and Sonny/Natalia was straight up fast forward for me. The Alexis scenes were at least tolerable. I don't think that anything can save Brennan or any new man if he's required to fall for Carly off the bat. That already shows that he's not particularly bright or strong. It would also appease the Carly/Jason/Sonny fans so we wouldn't keep having to go over the same old plots over and over again.
-
Do I care about Portia, worried for some reason that Brad is back in the GH lab? Nope. She should be glad, if the switched blood tests are caught, Brad will be blamed. Do I care about Molly and TJ, each alone and hurting? Nope. They've both been such awful people I don't feel sorry for them at all. And Molly is more tolerable talking to Dex Wood than to TJ. But both of those were better than Carly and Brennan "flirting'. Fun fact: A psychologist looked at how much practicing a professional musician had to do and anything over four hours doesn't help to improve. The writers seem to think that they can just hit the old notes and we will produce all the old emotions so they don't have to do any work.

It has the feel of "Look, we hired this impressive guy" and now they're stuck because they have no story for him. He drifts among the character being used for exposition. But at least it's better than what they have for Dex who really is just a day player unless he's having sex with Joss. I had a slight fondness for TJ in the Richmond years but the current surrogate storyline has ruined him, not the lack of writing. I don't think anyone could survive the selfish, angry person TJ is today. Story. And heart. It's like they're saying "we brought back Holly and gave you a villain in an exotic location, what more do you want? Me: Good writing for one.

I have no idea, other than she's a good friend of her husband Curtis. Portia snarked about Nina sending Drew to jail but that's nothing to do with her.
-
Now we know why Ric is being so pushy with Liz -- to set up a triangle with Lucky. The Jason/Anna/Holly/Jenz story is like the old school capers of the 90s so I'm grateful for that. Michael is complaining about Ned's running of ELQ and Lois is singing the praises of Sonny -- it must be a day that ends in 'day'. Portia says bitchy things about Nina to Curtis, and then is all smiling to Nina in person. Why am I not surprised?

Carlo Rota worked as hard as hard as he could but even he couldn't stop SBu from from his usual block of wood portrayal. Am I supposed to be worried that holly will stop Anna and Jason from grabbing Lucky? Because I can't see her doing that to Luke's son and daughter. Joss sure is giving out the free food today. How Does Dante not know who visits Lulu in her longterm care facility? I think that the Rocco kid is a better actor so i don't know why they didn't hire him as Danny since it's Jason's son who will get screentime.
-
IIRC what got TR in trouble was saying that Peter's value as a character was done and there was no more story for him (paraphrase). In which he was completely correct but Frank didn't want to hear it.
-
Since cobalt is not a substance that naturally occurs in human bodies, a test of high cobalt would first trigger a repeat test and then another stay in the hospital as they try to find out why Heather has a high cobalt level. Portia is to doctors as Sonny is to scary mobsters.
-
Not that they haven't insulted us before. 🤬 Sonny thanks Michael for not turning him in for shooting Cates. A true mob family. I don't remember Kristina overhearing Cates tell Anna that he was going to the Quartermaines but I admit I hate this storyline. Molly was very smug telling Kristina that she stopped Sonny from being there. My compliments on the acting. I wonder how many people know what "margin of error" actually means, or how it's computed.. Nina, have more self respect than to want a relationship with the man who lusts after your daughter.
