  1. Directv got 4 million from Scientology for the channel. Which is why they'd allow this crap on the air. I let Directv know how astounded I was that they allowed this cash grab "religion" airtime.
  2. I'm of the generation that Farrell's would have some nostalgia cache'. That would get me in the door once, but only good food and ambiance would get return trips from me.
  3. I'm a bit surprised that Marcus seemingly paid no attention to these buffoons after cutting the first deal. Does he not assign minions to have day to day contact with all these small companies? Why not be more on top of this situation? Enquiring minds want to know...
  4. Wow, there was a not guilty verdict http://wcfcourier.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/update-jurors-return-verdicts-of-not-guilty-in-theresa-supino/article_86d2b417-ce29-5729-8c32-2c815a2c3b5e.html
  5. This is so true, and it seems to be something that the contestants don't think about. The whole world is watching her behave like a maniac, and who will want that in their kitchen? So, she better own her own restaurant because her mouth and attitude is going to get her in trouble wherever she goes.
  6. I don't get what Marcus sees in this guy. Even if you give him the mad genius designer label....he has no hope of actually running the business properly. It's not a business by just coming up with designs...you need to market the business, you need to keep track of inventory, you need to manage your finances. Does anyone think he can do any of this stuff?
  7. I fully agree. He wasn't a good actor, but he was good looking so I guess Bellisario figured that's all the public would care about. Wrong
  8. Shelley made the show different. I can't remember a character like hers that not only was so different but melded into the Fish out of Water meme so well. Add in Ted's sleazy character and you get a hit show.
  9. I agree, even basic vetting of these people would have turned up the DJ gig. So it stretches the imagination that Marcus would be ignorant of his persona. Marcus could have easily fixed this company had he gone forward. But fixing the lazy owners is something else. And yes, we get Marcus could have put these RayJus products in Camping World and Ganders, which would have kept the company afloat. But one wonders if the business might grown very much
  10. It seems like if that Eric guy stays the course they'll be fine. But I can see that he might fall back into his bad habits once Marcus isn't around
  11. Well, looks like the accused got nailed for it! http://www.oxygen.com/crime-time/timothy-sheline-cold-justice-burned-guilty-murder
  12. It's fascinating to me how the CO$ rank and file members just lap up these statistics without questioning their ludicrous claims. Even Leah admitted she bought into the show. But they seem to get away with it
  13. BTW, that music pillow guy had to be what Cuban calls a "Golddigger". He was clearly smart enough to know that there was NO WAY he'd get a deal with that valuation, so showing up on TV was just about getting exposure and not about making a deal.
  14. You could use it for adult toy dogs, like Yorkies, Chihuahua's, etc. But anything bigger than a French Bulldog will produce too much volume of pee for this product
  15. I suspect that they do due diligence before they get to the location and rule out people to narrow the focus for the show
  16. Lenny just did it in the beginning of "D-Girl" , the first part of the infamous trilogy
  17. Its actually not a crucifix, it's an eight pointed star. The 8 points represent the 8 dynamics people need to go through to survive. Pretty clever of COS to happen to make it look like a crucifix. ;)
  18. Which tells me that Pit Bull Lawyer has a plan well beyond the arbitration. He would have a pretty good idea on what would happen, and they wanted to get this on the record so they could take their next steps
  19. Wow, Got evidence? Rejected. Got a question? We aren't here for that. But trust us, we are neutral, fair arbitrators. Oh and Mr. Arbitrator, I don't think the Garcia's are likely to come back into the fold anytime soon.
  20. Essentially the Garcia case is a can opener into the bowels of Co$. Should this case get legitimized (no small thing) Co$ could be in a whole lot of hurt as the case gets right to the heart of their scam. Allowing the Garcia case to go forward will allow for a ton of subsequent cases to be brought, over all sorts of issues, like the bogus refund policy and the quid pro quo issues. IMO, if the case goes forward Co$ may go out of business
  21. This show was both horrifying and maddening at the same time. All pretenses to legitimacy as a real religion flew out the door tonight. Pay for play isn't a theology, its a scam. What religion has hard sell techniques???? One of the best things this show does is document every claim they make. Use Hard Sell techniques? Here's the document that tells you to do that. This makes it very hard for CO$ to claim Leah and Mike are making things up.
  22. Hey its cheap now. According to Rinder CO$ is having a half price sale going on now. LOL
  23. Hey, Mark Consuelos has got a good role on Riverdale as Mr. Lodge. He's had one scene and he's already creeping me out!
  24. I've said it before, this is one of the most original ideas for a TV show that I can remember. With that said, with the storyline such as it is, I don't see a 7 year run for this show. Probably 4 season tops. But i think I'll enjoy it however long it lasts ;)
