The nepotism topic. Here’s the thing. The entire organization is built on nepotism. Most of the executive staff are direct family members of Jerry Jones. If we expect the DCC (run by Jerry’s daughter) to institute a no nepotism policy, we are asking the Cowboy’s organization to dismantle their entire executive team. I’m not defending it- I think it leads to bad hiring practices, reduced talent in some cases, and disgruntled teams/ employees. But, I am saying that this is a practice handed down from the top of the organization. They aren’t going to change it unless the Jones’ sell the team.

As a woman, I am not offended by Neal nor do I find him inappropriate. I think he’s more laughing at himself about how shallow he (or some men in general) can be. I’ve seen him (on the show) in a few serious moments and I think he’s been respectful and a lot less harsh than some of the female judges. (Charlotte- who I find very disrespectful)

The other thing to remember about Neal is that he is also a DCC customer- he brings them into his staged show, so as a judge, he is bringing the perspective of an entertainer that actually works with the team professionally. Just a different take on him.

That’s sad! I don’t think in all the years I’ve watched the show (since season 1) I’ve ever seen a clip where they really messed up a performance, and there aren’t many videos out there with even glaring mistakes.

You are NOT too old to take ballet. As you might remember, I’ve taught dance (as a side night-time job). My oldest student was 76- she took tap because when she was very young- like 5- a dance teacher told her she didn’t have talent, so she quit. Then she saw my adult classes advertised and got up the courage and tried again- in her 3rd year, she added ballet. I ended up giving her and two other adult students who were new to dance a special dance in the recital. I even bought their costumes as a gift because I was so proud of them. You’re not too old... spread those beautiful feathers!!!

I’ll PM you in the morning, but my comparison of Nicole/Gina- Nicole was confident but humble. I think Gina is certainly confident, but.... And, it’s season 2 right now... Abigail was just shown practicing at home and saying, “I just hope Kelly and Judy will stick with me,” commenting on how she knows she has a lot to learn to match up to the vets. She has no idea yet that they will more than “stick with her.”
