  1. I tried to clean it up to remove any doubt.
  2. Yeah-my comment wasn’t meant to be directed at you or so sharp. It’s my reaction to the creep who scares me. Sorry it came out that way. I should have started a new post instead of quoting yours. You know I ❤️ you. Sorry!!!
  3. This guy is very scary. They “accepted Holly’s resignation” right after that office visit. Holly wasn’t THERE to take pics with anyone. I think that guy is a stalkery, mean person who has been relentless on other girls’ pages as well. He’s obsessed.
  4. Where was this comment? Who’s page? What picture was it responding to? Just trying to get context.
  5. Well, we know that Vicki’s voice will travel farther than her tee shots. She’s too loud for a golf course.
  6. Hijinks ensue when Vicki decides to celebrate her birthday with a ladies' golf outing; Tamra and Eddie double date with Emily and her husband; a rumor about Emily's marriage sparks an unexpected confrontation between Tamra and Shannon
  7. Maybe she couldn’t fast enough- muscle memory from bad habit? Maybe she didn’t put in the extra work? Maybe she didn’t believe them. (You know Kitty wouldn’t BS her.) I haven’t seen enough of her in camp yet to really formulate an educated opinion. You’re a dancer, right? There’s always that person who keeps coming in with the same issue. Maybe it’s just a body movement thing when she’s nervous? She might have been calmer in prep classes.
  8. You’re SOOOO right. If a studio doesn’t advance her, there’s another studio down the street. It gets political (as early as 7-8 years old). Unfortunately, some studios succumb. Sad.
  9. We can’t assume that no one corrected her... it’s her job to apply corrections. And, the stompy, clunky thing takes a lot of work to correct if she’s been dancing that way her whole life- for this style. If she’s always practiced power Pom that way, she needs to “undo” muscle memory. Takes time and work. Also takes the ability to hear corrections and believe that those corrections are necessary.
  10. @ShellyB- we are all getting concerned about Yuko. Is she ok?
  11. Bolsters the doc appt story. Someone could have taken water pills (decreasing water in body and showing muscle tone- like body builders do right before competition), and had extreme weight loss regiment (maybe including a stimulant of some sort) for two weeks prior to finals, or prior to first week of camp to “make weight” for first weigh in. Then, starving from all the cardio, they could have gone the opposite spectrum on nutrition and felt like there was no need for all of those crazy tactics, they would put back on the weight plus some. It’s possible. It’s dangerous, but possible. Late night trips to fast food or unhealthy, very fattening frozen food can pack on pounds fast especially if your body feels the need to store calories in response to being underfed just prior to a binge. Combine all this with a natural water-retention time period (like a premenstrual cycle), 15 pounds would be even more plausible.
  12. Help- her name is spelled the same way as it is spelled on her IMBd Page. Bethenny Frankel. How is it really spelled if this is wrong? Apparently, I am making the same mistake?
  13. Me, too! The point of my post was the storytelling that was demonstrated in previous seasons, but seems to be falling flat recently. Not trying to start up a hatefest on 1 piece of the point. Also, I didn’t understand the rest of your post about a discussion in IM. No idea what you were trying to say there.
  14. Bethenny calls Ramona out for castigating Sonja for having fake businesses. Everyone jumps on B saying that it was actually her that did that. Does anyone remember ALL of season 6- a full season BEFORE B returns to the show? Early on, in the Hamptons at the home showcase of different in-home products, Ramona sits down with Heather, Kristen (I think) and Carole. She brings up how worried she is about Sonja and her inability to earn money to solve her lawsuit. She mentions her “crazy businesses” to them. Heather in a TH comments on how odd this was for Ramona to be calling her out. Later, same Hamptons trip, Ramona and Sonja have a big argument over essentially the same issue. Then, Heather jumps in to try to help Sonja with business decisions and says to Sonja directly as well as to other ladies that Sonja is not grounded in ANY of her “businesses,” but continues to try to help launch toaster oven. Then, Kristen has Josh get involved... he gets so frustrated and tells Sonja to her face that she’s “nuts.” (I think final straw for him was her Jamaican sports team.) He then tells Kristen and Heather that Sonja is delusional. Then Harry jumps in and at dinner, tells Sonja to concentrate on “just one.” At the reunion that season, Lu says something about Sonja being a character from Grey Gardens. (Andy brings it up, Lu corrects Sonja as S took the characterization as a compliment, and Lu exclaims: “they were mentally ill!”) Finally, Kristen stands up and tells Sonja: “To your face, Sonja Morgan... you are de-lusss-ional!” Bethenny returns the following season. She gets all upset about Tipsy Girl and calls Sonja out for the same things that were called out the previous season. Eventually, (I forget if it was season 7 or 8), but Bethenny is the one who is able to get through to her a bit. That seasons culminates with Sonja’s fashion show- “The Empress has clothes!” I’m not saying B REALLY helped her get there, but Sonja gives her a lot of credit (on camera-lol). So, who’s lying? Is Bethenny hypocritical? Yep. But, she’s not lying. And all of the women (except Dorinda and Tinsley)were involved in these conversations... Ramona as the starter... Carole with the prods and pokes that she does... Lu with her comments. The only one that proactively tried to help in any meaningful way was Bethenny. (Unless you count Ramona giving her a spiral notebook and telling her to go open a Corp bank account.) Shut up Dorinda- you don’t know what you’re talking about. Shut up Carole, you’re twisting events. Shut up Ramona, you don’t remember what you had for breakfast (or you’re lying). Tinsley was quiet- good girl. And, Bethenny admit you did the same thing that you accused Ramona of doing. Don’t be a hypocrite. Had to get this off my chest. Have no idea why ANY of this matters to me.
  15. In season 7, they did a full episode, but that included fittings (and a playful Jackie Bob), the shoot (including interesting stories about vets- Whitney’s last shoot, McKenzie’s and Britney’s first shoots), a DCC performance and the suit fashion show including Kitty smoking them out. They’ve lost some of this “fun” over the last few years, IMO.
  16. For the record, I saw your comment more about Bethenny than about Bryn. I didn’t feel like you were being derogatory about a child in anyway.
  17. And, Carole, among all the dissenting chatter, says twice: “And I was the biggest support.” Yes. She said Gaga’s mom commented on her costume when asked if she heard from Gaga about it. Then she clarified: “she goes to my church.”
  18. Plus, his lazy eye makes it harder to see who he is really looking at.... When Bethenny says to her: “we all know my delivery isn’t (fluffy?)” Ramona says: “yes, we are similar that way”
  19. Tins is going to continue to play out her father-daughter relationship with unavailable (and abusive) men until she decides that she’s worthy of a bakery- not just the crumbs she is accepting now. Very typical in children of alcoholics. I’m sad for her in this area of her life. (Picture her on the floor whimpering when Scott grants her a surprise visit)
  20. Here’s my problem with this season and the reunion so far... most of this season is about a fight between friends that we know nothing about. IMO, the viewer can’t relate because they didn’t allow us to relate. Love her or not, Bethenny has been pretty transparent in the past- that’s why we can relate- not so much this season.... Love her or not, Carole’s BIG story line during her tenure was her issue with Aviva. We could SEE what that was about- it had substance and many viewers got interested in her and stood by her for seasons to come- not so much this season. The other BIG story this year was all of Luann’s stuff, but she runs away for the end of it, so we can’t (in any way as a viewer) get closure. IMO- this has left viewers/posters with nothing else to do but to argue among each other about who is more likeable. And, because we haven’t been truly invited into the party this season, we can only peer in the windows and voice opinions based on the shadows moving inside the house. I took a break from this forum for a bit because I really couldn’t deal with anymore of the side-taking and bickering. It turns out (with a little distance), I was just frustrated at what the show was giving us- not a lot- IMO I think they need to recharge the “focus” of the show.
  21. Are you talking about how they were seated at the first meeting?
  22. I agree that we have seen Kelli inexplicably and unnecessarily treat Dayton way different than Victoria (so far), and I’m not happy about it either. I think that all of the daughters have grown up around DCC as all of their moms (Shelly included) have been employed by the org for a very long time. I don’t know why Kelli is treating Dayton this way, or why the edit is so skewed. It’s baffling to me (but I don’t know any of them personally). Yep- dance styles have changed and gotten more complex. My point was that Shelly kept up with those changes. We’ll have to see it play out, but I agree, it looks like Dayton was held to a different standard so far. Agreed. I just also know that Shelly continued her experience and that, all things being equal to the times people live in, it was hard on the generation before just as it is hard on the current one. Generations before didn’t have the benefit of the training available in this current one, either. Does this make sense? We are only as advanced as the time we are a part of.
