  1. I remember Sarah Greene (Bibi) from Penny Dreadful and Ransom. She was also in a long relationship with Aidan Turner before they went their separate ways. I think she is stunning.
  2. Release Date: August 12, 2022 The Martian crew debates how to save the life of one of their own.
  3. I have been waiting for this and am glad to see it finally has an air date.
  4. Just finished my two-night binge. I thought it was very well done with top- notch performances. I interpreted Jeb’s crises of faith to be less about fundamental Mormon groups but about his discovery that he had just accepted Mormon history and tenets as de rigueur. Discovering that there were numerous sources disputing their claims was jarring. Apparently, he had never thought about questioning and when he did ask questions, he was quickly reminded to get back in line. Even though Jeb is a fictional character, suspect we can all think of our own or others’ instances of faith crises.
  5. To backtrack a little, I've always thought that Leonora Folger and Rose Cooper are the same person. Not sure how that figures in to the murder, though. We haven't seen Shirley Mac lately so it's time for Leonora to reappear.
  6. I’m all in after the first episode. Strong performances and nice script.
  7. I HATE the Danny storyline. That is all.
  8. Another Bridges makes an appearance as Jordan plays the snotty investment manager. I haven’t seen him in a while.
  9. This episode released early. I was watching something else on Apple+ and when it finished, it rolled over to FAM Episode 4. Wow - just wow.
  10. Another thing I liked about Two Tickets to Paradise: no jealousy from misunderstood situations. Everything was so straight-forward and the "getting to know you" part progressed very naturally. And the two lead characters - thanks to Ashley and Ryan - really appeared to be having fun. Regarding Ryan's surfing: yep, that's him. I read an interview in which he talked about his love of surfing and how he lobbied to do his own (knowing that production companies often refuse to let actors do their own stunts).
  11. I surmised in the first episode that Dan had whisked the wife away. Some love grievances never die. I'm glad they went ahead and showed us Angela talking on the phone. I was having trouble figuring out how they would sustain that mystery much longer without making the audience testy. Raymond is going to be a problem. Doggies rule!
  12. I hadn’t really paid attention to the Two Tickets to Paradise preview that air during my Monk marathons, but after reading the comments here about Ashley Williams, I did watch today. I really didn’t see that she was not aging well; thought she looked fine.
  13. I thought the first two episodes were terrific. Stellar cast and performances. I am uneasy about the dogs, too, but am trying to stay strong.
  14. I have enjoyed this series but, I have to admit that, to me, Rose Leslie appears miscast. I don't have a problem with her at all - loved her role in Game of Thrones. I just don't feel a connection between her and Theo James. I don't know whether it's the way her character is written or the way Rose has chosen to portray her. Something feels off to me.
  15. I saw this article about Lily D. Moore who is starring in The Color of Love on HMM tonight. She just graduated from high school and is going to Clemson in the fall.
  16. My niece is an ADA in a county that borders Durham County and she is a friend of David Rudolf, Peterson's attorney. He has been posting his thoughts on Facebook after each episode's airing. His username is David S. Rudolf if you want to take a look. Additionally, the Raleigh News & Observer interviews Jim Hardin each week. He was the lead prosecutor. We North Carolinians in the central part of the state have been immersed in this case for more than 20 years. I can't look away. Regarding HBO's telling of the accident/crime, I have to say that Parker Posey is in her element as Freda Black. She is Freda made-over.
  17. "You buy an RV. . . . You spend the rest of your days traveling back and forth to your various parents' resting places." Beth is awesome.
  18. I haven't seen Rip in Time but went to IMDB to see other cast members. There are only five or six listed and "Ted" wasn't among them. But I saw a photo on the HMM webpage and am speculating he's Casey Manderson who generally plays the brother, brother-in-law, best friend in Hallmark romcoms. I remember him specifically from A December Bride in which he was - the brother.
  19. There is a new The Staircase with Colin Firth and Toni Collette. It’s a drama like Candy, not a documentary.
  20. I loved William as Kate’s conductor to her next world.
  21. The JT and JR reenactment of the the murder was the highlight of this series. Hil.ar.i.ous!
