  1. I'm so happy for this thread. The news of his death has hit me hard. Victor was a favorite when I watched this show.
  2. Yep! SO MUCH OF ALL OF THIS!! I'm not saying it couldn't happen. But on the .5 percent chance it could, that THAT would make for some interesting reading. But we don't get that. Nope. We got whatever we got.
  3. Yes! The fleas could have been on the deer on that island and then gone onto living hosts. Now they are spreading their little government conspiracy germs and illnesses throughout NYC, so that's why Barbara got sick. I'm very confused about Big Daddy because lots of people are seeing him. Theo(?) spoke to him when he lhad to walk past him as he left the dungeon he was kept in. Patrick's been attacked twice. Gino saw him in the mirror as he was shaving and found the lesions. Then poof- he was in Barb's apartment strangling her. I thought she died by being strangled. Her feet were lifted off the ground.
  4. I really truly despised Where The Crawdads Sing. I think that the interesting part would have been HOW this abandoned illiterate child becomes the world's most renowned expert on swamps. But no, we don't get that. We get a book that feels like its in love with itself. How many pages about turkey vultures devouring each other do we really need? Ugh.
  5. And yet you only mention Gino. Don't forget, there's also Monotone- oops Billie Lourde. Personally, I would rather watch the cat than BL, but I guess part of the horror is watching her act? It brings back the deep seeded fear of attending endless elementary school productions of Death of a Salesman?
  6. I'm still pro-Jane and anti Bertha. Think of it this way Bertha is Amber Heard, but instead of pooping on the bed, she's setting it on fire- with him still in it. That would get old really fast. He wasn't allowed to divorce her. And being kept in the attic was better than being in Bedlam which is where she belonged. She is an arsonist and a psychotic killer. We have no issue with putting arsonists behind bars, but condemn him for having to remain married to her-even after she stabbed him. I guess my line in the sand is "Once you try to murder me, I no longer have sympathy for you."
  7. I am having a hard time remembering the character names this season. I don't know if there are too many too fast, that so many look alike, or if I am not invested, but I read the message boards, and struggle to remember who Henry is. And Zachary Quinto is Zachary Quinto, not his character. Not sure what is not gelling in my feeble mind.
  8. And then, there were her hats. Those were some uhm unusual choices.
  9. Mmm okay. It is more realistic than some seasons. I know it won't last. But- they FINALLY let Patti Lupone sing. If she keeps singing, I'll keep watching.
  10. Yes, but the upside is that we'll only have to listen to the really bad ones once.
  11. What I find really frightening is the thought that someone out there might actually think that is how Southern women dress. It's like they went to Goodwill and chose the ugliest things they could find.
  12. There are so many weird "Huh? What did I miss moments" that I decided that it deserves its own category. Mine is- are Hope and Doc divorced or married. I thought they were divorced, but the show keeps referring to her as his wife. So I'm confused.
  13. So. Much. Drama. Because PTSD from war alone isn't enough, we now have Jack's brother's death. Eye roll.
  14. I'm only here for the occasional Muriel sitings. She was cracking me up during the costume sewing. "You can't rush perfection." Then Connie yanking it out of her hand and handing it to Lily's daughter. But then the look she shoots them when they try to take away another costume. I'm starting to not trust Mike- which ticks me off since he's a book favorite of mine. And I really loved Preacher and Paiges book, so not liking what is happening with them. I am liking Lizzie more and more though. Also loving Brie and Brady. And Muriel. But I'm over the Muriel/Doc ship because she deserves to be number 1!
  15. I so agree with this. It's part of why he was afraid to get married. He loved Julia deeply when they married. He fought Sonny to get to her. He wouldn't casually cheat on someone he loves. He took it too personally that it happened to his mom. I might have been okay with TL if Lane Davies hadn't done it first. But in the early episodes, TL seems to be trying too hard or something. I can't even express it. He's doing a great job acting, but it FEELS like acting.
  16. It's taking a lot of work to accept Terry Lester as Mason. Sasha and Julia are talking about how the married man never leaves the wife for the other woman. Julia says it happened once. What show is SHE watching? Mason left two wives for Julia. CC left two wives for Sophia. Cruz and Santana ended for Eden. Lionel chose Sophia over Augusta often.
  17. Hold on a second- was Augusta Mrs. Tonnell when he set Julia up for murder? I'm at the murder, but not the big reveal quite yet.
  18. I feel like someone needs to tell Tony that Angela has been reduced to making bad TV episodes. Judith- you are so much better than this. I'm glad other people have mentioned The Twilight Zone episode. That was a classic. This was. Not. I think, in between the snarky MST3Kesque comments my husband and I made through this episode, that Doctor Pretty Person said that Angela (Sorry- she's an AMAZING actress who will ALWAYS be Angela to me) deserved this because she is why her husband left the cult child's mommie. Then CultMom died, so the Cult is blaming Pig Woman for CultMoms death. But I might be wrong because we were talking a lot through this garbage.
  19. All she has to do is take out the battery and delete the app from her phone. This was a fail for me.
  20. Yeah, but honestly even with 13 episodes RM has problems building that
  21. Well, I just watched that. That was weird and I'm pretty sure that I didn't enjoy it. But imagine going to a wedding and instead you're treated to necrophilia. Still wouldn't be the weirdest wedding I've been to, but I digress. I once again asked myself, why do I watch this show
  22. I really think there was more potential with Ric and Kelly. Does Rick ever explain what was in the folder that will destroy Cruz? Does the audience ever find out? Cruz could have used a loyal brother. I feel like it was just a missed opportunity because they had the ridiculous Laura story. Michael was wasted. They could have done a very interesting story where Scott and Heather break up, Celeste and Scott break up. Scott and Heather reunite. But Michael and Celeste's friendship grows and grows at a slow simmer until they are a couple. She is insecure about her past. He's insecure about his. They lean on each other. Family reunions are delightfully awkward. And so fun to watch, because while I hate Scott and Heather, I do love Celeste and Michael. At least Sophia is on once a week now.
  23. How many decades is Laura Asher and the Who Shot the Sleezeball storyline going to last? I was happier when I didn't know there WAS a Laura on the show. Frank Runyeon deserved better than the show gave Michael
