  1. I don't think that Meemaw lied. But I also think that it was Mary's story to tell. Meemaw felt someone had to let Missy know, but didn't want to let Mary know that she had told it. I don't think I'm explaining that well. I just think that Meemaw filled in a blank for her grand-daughter, but didn't want to steal that future moment from Mary either. As for the locker- NO WAY would Mary allow Sheldon to be out all night. However, in the child's defense about it "Being ALL NIGHT" I was stuck for 42 hours in an elevator once. Hanging in between the 4th and 5th floor waiting. OK- I was stuck in an elevator for like 15 minutes before they got it moving- but boy HOWDY when you are stuck, and have zero control over getting unstuck- it certainly FEELS longer. As adults, we can see that the way Georgie treats Sheldon is not really bullying. But does a child see it that way? Georgie knows that Professor Proton is Sheldon's favorite TV show, he would have known when it was on. But instead, several times we've seen Georgie not letting Sheldon watch it. Sheldon had to get a job delivering newspapers. Georgie was supposed to help show him the ropes- instead, Georgie allowed them to throw the newspapers at a brother he KNEW would not be able to catch them. The countless times Sheldon is told to shut up, or that Georgie is annoyed to have to admit he's related to Sheldon. As for Mary worrying about Sheldon's immortal soul- of course. Yes, Missy and Georgie have discipline problems, but they don't actively profess a disbelief in God like Sheldon. Of course Mary would worry more about the child that says, "There is no God, it's illogical" than the ones who misbehave then say, "Sorry God."
  2. I'm starting to wonder if they could just skip the supposed affair. We already know that Sheldon sometimes misses the point. I.E. He thought Georgie was hungry instead of hurt and heartbroken. Maybe to Sheldon, hearing little things like Mary shouting, "Katherine Dempsey," were the huge fights that he remembers. I know he supposedly walks in on George doing something, but maybe he misunderstands what he sees when he walks in. I know. I know, total wishful thinking. There are many- MANY times when I wish that CBS had decided to just do a show about another random boy genius. We could have all been, "They already have a genius outcast on Big Bang" but we could still love the family show of Young Sheldon without dreading what's coming down the road.
  3. GOONIES NEVER SAY DIE!! Fight Samwise- FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT TO A NOBEL. JK- I want it to go to Sheldore
  4. I am very disappointed that there is no Sue Spin-off. Back to the Goldbergs- Lainey is the least interesting character. I like Coach and the Guidance Counselor as side characters on the Goldbergs, but I am not sure I enjoy them by themselves. I wasn't a huge fan of the backdoor spinoff during the season last year. I'm just not sure I'll be watching Schooled.
  5. I watched Die Hard for the first time this year. All I can say about any of it is that from this point forward, "Yippee Ki Yay Melon Farmer" WILL be a saying in my house!
  6. Leonard had the tape. Amy was surprising Sheldon with it. She wasn't going to ask Sheldon to use a VCR so she could surprise him,
  7. As a fan of The Golden Girls- I knew where that was going. Nice tribute though.
  8. I actually didn't hate Mary over her unwillingness to move. I see her point. Not everyone wants to leave their family. Connie can't move. Poor John could never ride his bicycle that far. But I also see that George would want to take the chance. But they've taken that chance before and wound up right back in their hometown. As for the destruction of their marriage- yes, Sheldon says it happened. But Sheldon isn't the most reliable source of remembering other people's emotions. There are people in this universe who see two fights and that is all they remember of their childhood. (And firmly believe "My parents fought ALL the time.") So, these writers can figure out that Alf hosted the Macy's parade that year, but can't remember that it was Rose- not Blanche? Or can we just go with it because it's possible Georgie would get the characters confused? Nope- I'm mad at the writers for not knowing the difference between Rose and Blanche. Either way- John and Missy were the best in this episode. Him deciding to thank George and Mary during their fight cracked me up! And turning dinner into a sandwich "What can I say? I'm a creature of habit."
  9. I'm pretty sure that the mutants that ate the horses were just plain old mutated humans. The horses were going to be extremely mutated by that point and were worthless because of the nuclear winter radiation. They were unfit to eat at the bunker. So the mutated humans ate them. while there was little point to Evie Gallant- Joan Collins is NEVER pointless. LOL! I'm pretty sure that Constance lied to Madison and Behold about the fight. It happened, but she still told little lies to make herself look better. Instead of "You have to stop killing" it became, he went after me for correcting his grammer. Michael ran out of the house- and she went to kill herself.
  10. Well, she did get Queenie to not stay at the Cortez. And as for Madison- Mallory is STILL the next Supreme. She will still have to do the 7 wonders. And she'll need someone worthy of breaking out of Hell. Myrtle may not be in Hell. Do witches automatically go to Hell in Murphyworld? Who knows.
  11. Please. No sequel. I mean come on- if the Antichrist that is the son of a ghost can be killed by a car- how lame will the one made by the boring couple be? Good grief- Coco's lame old calorie counting could kill that one. Here- have a deadly snowball. You can choke on those- ya know? But they have special DNA- 23 and Me says so. Gag me.
  12. This is a good question. But remember- what we've seen on THIS show- these crazy people WANT to burn in hell. They think it's just the best.
  13. I stand corrected. In my defense, I've tried to block Roanoke from my mind. I just came up with a new prediction. There will be an Asylum tie in that we didn't see coming. The Aliens will come and rescue some of the people in the bunker.
  14. Sorry, I'm still kind of new to this board and don't know how to make that quote go away. ANYHOO- There hasn't been a musical number in a long time. So I'm changing my prediction. I now predict Michael traipsing around in his cloak and perfect hair singing, "Kill the Witch" at the end. And a lot of little Munchkins will be running around. And maybe he'll kill the witches, maybe not. Because we all should know by now that Sarah Paulson never gets killed.
  15. I agree with that sentiment. But recently, Ryan Murphy never ceases to disappoint me. That's why I really think that in this thing (sorry at this point, can't call it a story- too disjointed) the witches are going to die and Michael will win. Also- every season of AHS has had massive death of the main characters, so that also makes me think that the witches are going to die and Michael will win. I am predicting (Based on nothing) that next week will have a large blood count with some schlocky end scene with a goofy camera angle of Michael all covered in blood, but his hair will not be messed up- roll credits. I really- REALLY hope I'm wrong, but I don't see this ending with anything that I will be happy with. (And we still aren't going to know why the genetic kids were there.)
  16. Lily Rabe can only be in one episode because she has far too much acting talent. If we were to see her in several other characters, then we would notice how BAD Billie and Coco are at acting. Oh wait- we were already clued in on that. Must chalk the Coco thing up to her being one of Murphy's besties.
  17. Nope. We weren't really lucky. There was no development. I have one question though, based on past seasons. Why do people think that the witches will win? I fully believe Michael will win this one and we will be left with no answers. I was onboard with this season until the past couple of episodes. Now, I'm bored with Michael. Think he is just whiney and dreadful. Cordelia KNOWS that the apocalypse is coming, but she doesn't care about the world, just the few witches. The new Voodoo priestess knows about the apocalypse, and chastised Cordelia over putting the souls of a few witches over a billion people- but helped Michael kill the few that could stop him. This is getting worse. And for some reason- every character is being played by the same handful of actors. And what a waste of Dame Joan Collins. I mean, I would have paid for a confrontation between Lange and Collins! That scene could have been AWESOME! And you're bringing back all of these characters from past seasons- but NOT Liz Taylor? Ugh.
  18. Andre is only there because someone had to be all upset about having Stew for dinner.
  19. I love the one scene where Grandma is mad about something the new minister was doing and she looked at him and said, "I'll turn Methodist." LOL! That's when you knew she was serious. And Grandpa reminded me A LOT of my own Grandpa, so for me, no, he doesn't smell. He isn't annoying. He's just fun and brings me happiness.
