On another note, seems DP has deleted like 6,000 + of her tweets.

The fans recently called Judalina out for supporting the idea that the Flash has two leading ladies, Candice and Danielle P. Judalina refused to back down and actually went so far as to say she thinks of Grant and Carlos as both leading men. She even tried to say that stating that Candice was the only leading lady was pitting women against each other. Judalina finally relented with a weak apology. Why she couldn't abide the truth that CP is the only leading lady is beyond me. It's said that the writer who wrote the S6 finale, the one with the SB tease for Barry and KF/Cait, is a friend of Judalina.

Based just on the clothes, my guess is it's "Out of Time", episode 1x15. This might be when Barry and Iris drive to the waterfront to get Joe back from the first Weather Master. Candice is wearing the green coat she had on when she and Barry kiss.

Here's a Tumblr collation of a Twitter thread about NB and "Sleepy Hollow". What stands out most is, "Every show is its own little universe, and this one was a really uncomfortable place to not be white." I ache for what Candice must have endured and what Nicole B. endured. Also, the implied fear of speaking up because of the potential to lose money, "And then you squirm and recall the $2 you have in your bank account..." This makes me wonder if that's why Carlos and the lower-level supporting cast didn't speak up for so long. No excuses, mind you, but perhaps there was genuine fear that supporting Candice might cost them a job.

I agree. Ralph doesn't need to shapeshift; just get a new actor and carry on as if nothing happened. That's been done plenty of times before. It's not like Hartley put his stamp on the character the way Tom Cavanagh has on EoWells. The writers and showrunners made a significant investment in addng Ralph in S4 and gave him a proper arc - albeit long, infuriating, and repetitive - from jerk to hero. In fact, I'm beginning to think that they nerfed Cisco in S5 and suddenly had him relinquishing his Vibe powers just to make Ralph Barry's number 2 instead of Cisco😡 A new actor just makes more sense than suddenly killing off Ralph or having him disappear. Plus, they also made Ralph ensconced with Killer Frost as her new enabler along with original enabler, Cisco. It would be odd and require some serious rewrites to remove Ralph now, especially with his comic love interest just coming into his life.

So, this was an issue before and Hartley didn't think to delete them even after that? Man, he was sure banking on not having any consequences! Like I said, these came up (again) at the worst possible time because of the current events. Now, there was lots of external pressure for WB to put up or shut up about making things change. Of course, John Campea mentioned that Ezra Miller is also problematic, but WB has done nothing about him.

It's in DP's best interest, workwise and for PR, to say that she decided not to sign on for more seasons after S7. That helps her to save face, better her position for new job opportunities, etc. In fact, I'm sure CW and DP will say it was mutual like Ruby Rose and CW said that it was a mutual decision.

Agreed. I understand that. I was making the point that the TPTB have the ultimate say in whether an actor/actress stays. DP doesn't get to demand to have her contract renewed just because she may be liked.

The original core stars are on a seven year contract. After S7, that contract ends their time with the show - period. The choice to renew is up to TPTB if they want to continue the show. Notice that the CW is looking to change the main character of "Batwoman", so assuming that any actor/actress is in ultimate control doesn't seem valid. If TPTB want to continue with this version of the show, then of course, Grant is absolutely necessary since he's the lead of the entire show. However, CP is the female lead and will likely have an offer to renew. Everyone else is not guaranteed a renewal.

CP getting the blame has been going on for six years. That's not new territory for CP. I'm thinking CP's mental health will improve when she doesn't have to spend sixteen-hour days on a set where she deals with microaggressions 5-7 days a week. Like CP said in her Instagram post, the microaggressions are "maddening" and "traumatizing". CP seems to be able to handle herself online with belligerent fans. Covert aggression is far more difficult because you can't push back against it as easily and no one is supporting you either. All I know is the answer is not to keep the status quo to "protect" CP from blame. The status quo is the problem.

It also depends on how willing TPTB are to believe in Candice's words about the racial microaggressions in this time of heightened awareness of racial injustice. Again, the entire WB sent tweets saying they are going to improve themselves. AJK was in great standing with TPTB and had a very long history with Greg Berlanti, but the Me Too movement is what finally caused TPTB to listen and push AJK out. Now, with the strength of the BLM movement, there may be enough pressure to make Candice (and other POC stars) more comfortable on set. This doesn't mean to fire people unjustly. By not renewing DP's contract after S7, CW is not subject to litigation or even bad PR since CW will have fulfilled its legal obligation to DP. DP also gets to save face since it's not a firing, and she might say something about wanting to focus on her new baby, family, have shorter work days, etc. Alternatively, CW can transfer her to "Stargirl" or "Batwoman" with a new contract there.

Hartley's tweets were found at the worst moment in recent history possible, especially after Warner Media, CW TV, and Warner TV tweeted support for BLM. They all stated they would try to do better when it comes to racial injustice. Finding those tweets in light of these statements put Warner in a bind to follow through on their word to do better; hence, Hartley was fired. Agreed that DP will not be fired because covert racism is very hard to prove. The only thing I think is that DP's contract won't be extended or renewed for S8 or beyond since CW's contractual obligation to her (and the others) ends at S7.

So, from what I gather, this started when someone tweeted to Hartley asking him to support Black Lives Matter or to at least speak against racial injustice. His response was something about his support for dogs. Now, I haven't read the actual tweets, but that response might have led to the search for instances of Hartley's past support for other BLM or social justice issues. That's how the tweets were found. I'll update if I find more info. So, Hartley's response may have implied that his support for dogs was more important to him than support for actual humans. Therefore, it's not hard to believe Hartley hasn't grown as much as he'd like us to believe.

Agreed. But here's the thing: Hartley had 3 years since he was hired to go through his own social media posts to delete the terrible tweets. The Black woman who defended him - her friendship should have also been motivation for Hartley to delete those tweets himself. Once his public profile started to rise with his casting on the show, it was his responsibility to scour his own public image.

I believe that Julian dropped the charges against Caitlin in return for Barry's resignation. Remember that Caitlin coerced Barry to allow Julian to join Team Flash to help her with her KF problem. Then Julian developed feelings for her that she took full advantage of by leading him on, even allowing a kiss that she knew would go nowhere. After that, I'm sure that Julian made certain those charges wouldn't ever reappear. Plus Barry must have convinced Joe to talk to Captain Singh on Cait's behalf, too. The whole world shifts its axis to give Killer Cait a clean slate. And there weren't charges either after she, the doctor sworn to do no harm, and KF worked in meta-human trafficking or tortured people into losing fingers and toes in S4. Such a great example of justice never being served, which reflects the US when it comes to unjustified harm to Black and Brown people by people who look like Cait. By my count, Cait committed at least 11 felonies in 3x7 alone. She's not an ice meta, she's a Teflon meta.

Me, too. I can skip it with ease. Besides, they were already making Lois seem more important instead of equal to Iris in the crossovers Lois has appeared in anyway. No offense, since I have always liked Lois Lane, but in the Arrowverse, these ladies should be treated as equals.

I share your concerns, but there's one thing that gives me hope: Grant Gustin. Grant was the one to go against Barry and Caitlin even dating in the show. He stood firm on this even against the machinations of AJK and DP's attempts to make platonic moments seem romantic. I don't believe Grant would co-sign a hookup with Caitlin or KF, not even in a drunken, depressed, Iris is gone and I'm in lust, or even a body switch between Cait and Iris situation. Not even Barry's evil time remnant, Savitar, gave Killer Frost a second look when she was trying to flirt with him. I use to wonder if they'd have Barry and Cait somehow hook up to make a way for a White, non-multiracial, Bart Allen. But I don't believe that would happen because Grant would be against it. Even though he's not a perfect ally for Candice on all occasions, I do believe that Grant is an ally for WestAllen's pure relationship. Even if Eddie came back in some form, I don't think Candice would co-sign cheating on Barry either. She'd be emotionally drawn to him or sympathetic, but no cheating. That's what I'm holding on to so I can save my sanity.

The fact that Killer Frost would delay treatment for an injury because KF was scared mommy wouldn't like her is highly selfish and borderline suicidal/homicidal. The injury is so bad that their body went into an ice coma. Caitlin owns the body, too. And she's in danger of dying since the meta powers aren't healing them. What a trash person that Ralph had the gall to call "awesome!"

Robbie Amell's acting has really improved over the years. Gotta say I'm impressed.
