  1. Actually, they want to continue harboring a fugitive; they've been doing that for 3 years. As officers of the law, Joe and Barry should be called to account for their part in keeping Killer Frost from justice. Do none of them care that KF helped to murder HR Wells? Is that just not important? Do Barry and Joe not understand that if HR hadn't taken her place, Iris would be dead instead? How willing would they be to harbor the woman who helped murder Iris? The way Joe and Cecile are acting is outrageous! They are officially mammie characters to the nth degree. That the so-called "heroes" are acting this way is an insult. How about we just let every criminal in Iron Heights out if they do some good deeds? What a horrible precedent and message this show is sending. No consequences for guilty criminals. Wow!
  2. Umm... Lena Luthor ring a bell? Lena has done some awful things, including human experimentation that led to a death, exposing Kara to Kryptonite, and working to mind control the entire human race. And Lena is back on team Supergirl.

Cisco found Cait working in Amunet's bar in 4x1; he called it a "rat's nest". Barry was out of the speedforce prison in 4x1. Barry said Cait was a good person in 4x4. So the team knew she was associated with Amunet for at least six months at that point. What they didn't know was that she was still KF and still working for or associated with Amunet, which was revealed in 4x5. What was filmed was Iris sucking it up without Barry telling her to do so. And it won't be undone, unfortunately. As for Iris being the better choice, I must, respectfully, continue to disagree. But I agree with you about the rest.

I cannot disagree more vehemently with the bolded text. For centuries, black people have been told they have to suck it up when they are beaten, killed, or demoralized by white people. Black people are told to be the "better person". Having Iris, who was Cait/KF's victim, be the one to pursure friendship, give them a blanket pardon, and then reward Cait/KF was just another version of the "noble savage" and the "mammie" tropes. No, I cannot agree that Iris was the best choice. It would have made more sense for Cait's best friend, Cisco, to do this instead. In the end, what Iris did only served Cait/KF. Iris got zero benefit from it. It made Cait a key member of the West-Allen wedding. This friendship only lasted long enough for the black woman to be used to essentially whitewash the white woman's sins and crimes. Only at Barry's trial, after DeVoe framed Barry, did we see Cait and Iris kinda holding hands very, very briefly. When Iris was dreading the impending "death" of Barry in Crisis, not once did Cait or Killer Frost comfort Iris or ask Iris how she was dealing with this. As for Barry, he knew Cait had worked for Amunet in human trafficking when he told Cait, "you're a good person". So, Barry did vouch for Cait, too.
  5. I suspect it has to do with her working for Amunet Black. It's unlikely the police know about her working with Savitar or her being an accessory to HR Wells' murder. Only team Flash knows about the terrible things she did while working with Savitar; I'm unsure if they know she helped murder HR though. KF/Cait never confessed to her part in HR's murder. I still wonder if Julian Alpert deleted all the evidence of her crimes in 3x7; some of it was caught on CCPD cameras though until she froze them over. It's also possible that

Ugh! I know and I despise that fact😡. And you're right; I'm making it my headcanon that Iris and Joe are doing it for Barry's sake because I cannot stand the fact that the writers made Killer Frost's victim, Iris, vouch for her. It also hasn't been lost on me that Marlize and now, Eva, also got away with much villainy without any negative consequences or apology to Iris. The writers are sending absolutely the wrong message because they seem to let the women villains get away with stuff they rarely let the male villains get away with like Snart. It's fake feminism to say you want men and women to be treated equally by the law, but then you let female villains off the hook and male villains have negative consequences. Oh and those females that get away with it have a similar complexion. Peekabo and Black Bison certainly had negative consequences, Golden Glider, not so much. ETA: "My problem with Frost is that the writers went as far as to make her a willing accomplice in the murder of a team member." I honestly don't believe the writers realized just how bad the things they wrote for KF to do were. Like, I think they didn't realize KF was an accomplice to HR's death. Either that or the writers are morally bankrupt, which would explain a lot. There was an episode in S4 in which Caitlin was upset and I thought she might be feeling guilty about what she did in S3 or seeing Harry's face might be bringing up flashbacks of HR Wells and her part in his murder. Nope; Cait was upset that team Flash liked KF more than her. 🤢 It might be the episode when Amunet had to tell Cait how "remarkable" she is. It's like Cait/KF have zero empathy, which makes them narcissists and sociopaths.
  7. Not just herself. She doesn't seem to realize that she's putting team Flash in criminal jeopardy for harboring a criminal for three years. Joe's job as a detective and captain are especially in jeopardy because he, of all people, should not have supported harboring her. Joe and Barry are officers of the law, and they have done some unlawful stuff like the pipeline prison in the early seasons. Harboring KF just because she's part of Caitlin was the wrong call. If they had pep talked KF into turn herself in earlier, this might have gone better, but they were too busy coddling Cait/KF. Cosign this. However, if she breaks bad, I suspect she's either "infected" or isn't the real Speedforce avatar. I prefer "avatar" to 'god'; they're not gods. The CGI T-Rex was so much better than Fureza! Did they save all their CGI money for this dinosaur? I guess so. ETA: Just thought of something: What if the Speedforce had imprisoned these other forces all this time because they were so dangerous, which is why we've never seen them before? However, when the Speedforce got weak and later "died" that allowed them to escape. With the rebirth of the Speedforce, they were also able to take humanoid forms and attack the Speedforce for revenge.
  8. Among other crimes, Killer Frost worked to support the selling of human beings into modern slavery, maimed and tortured, and was an accessory to the murder of HR Wells. I don't think the victims' family and friends would accept good deeds without prison time as making up for what Killer Frost did. That's not how justice works. If Killer Frost wasn't in Caitlin's body, I doubt she'd be getting away with all of these crimes. By the way, last year there was a news article about a 95 year-old woman who was charged as an accessory to 10, 000 murders just because she worked as a secretary at age 18 in a concentration camp and claimed to not know about the murders. I'm sure she did a lot of good deeds after the war, but justice still caugt up to her.
  9. I'm fairly certain the BLM protests of last year and Warner Brothers making statements about actively being anti-racist have a lot to do with finally bringing a problematic, criminal, and privileged character like Killer Frost to face trial. Although I'm also certain KF will still be let off the hook somehow and notice that Cait's work in human trafficking will likely be ignored.
  10. Bravo! Bravo! for this, perfectly said. That is what happens when the writers' unconscious bias and non-intersectional faux feminism leads to plots in which the heroes compromise the moral high ground for the sake of a privileged female character. It's also why the strong black female trope has haunted Iris with regard to her trauma for years. It's why Iris was written to make "amends" with and reward Cait and Killer Frost even though they are the ones who hurt Iris and have never apologized for it. It's exhausting as well as infuriating. I think that Joe and Iris mainly go along for Barry's sake and to keep team Flash intact. Barry and Cisco's moral compasses are broken because they still see Cait as the good person they first met who is a fragile victim of losing Ronnie twice. Nevermind the decisions she made in 3x7, nevermind the choice she made to work for Amunet in human trafficking to get technology when her best friend is literally a tech genius, nevermind that she risked Cynthia's life being snuffed out by the Thinker, nevermind her callous lie to get team Flash to work with Amunet again and promise to work for Amunet again to get KF back. These are not the actions of a good person who is a victim. And I don't need to rehash all of Killer Frost's criminal acts because they're plenty obvious.
  11. I loooovvvvveee this idea! Perhaps she'll leave after her "sister" bites the dust, which causes Cisco to exclaim, "No! It can't end like this."
  12. This is a much better explanation of the physical split of Caitlin and Killer Frost: https://thatkillervibe.tumblr.com/post/647189363167526912/so-thinking-back-on-what-frost-said-at-the
  13. “I would hold off on the congratulations. There is a high likelihood these writers will twist this to be another coddle session for Killer Frost when the entire city stands to declare her sins forgiven and she is their hero. I don't trust that these writers will actually hold Cait or Killer Frost accountable for anything; they are too dedicated to the toxic privilege given to Cait/KF all these years. So, KF mentioned "Mark" as the person who gave her up to the cops.
  14. Cisco's greatest fear had nothing to do with Kamilla based on his behavioral history with her. He lied about what he saw. I suspect his greatest fear was about Caitlin. Cait is Cisco's highest priority.
  15. True, especially if those criminal deeds includes accessory to HR Wells' murder. I still doubt KF will actually pay for her crimes; she's not even whispered an apology to all the team Flash members she hurt. And she lied to Ralph saying all she did was kidnap and stab her friends. Ugh!
  16. On a YT video, someone brought up the following: "Sooooo, what about Caitlin's ALS? Thomas froze it but without Frost in her what is gonna happen? It might rapidly speed up the process once unthawed- ;(" Can't imagine the writers actually thought of the ALS plot at all; continuity has never been the writers strong suit.
  17. Jordan Fisher cast as "Bart Allen" https://tvline.com/2021/03/30/the-flash-bart-allen-impulse-cast-jordan-fisher/
  18. Cisco checking Killer Frost for dark matter made no sense because KF is not a dark matter meta. We spent all of season 5 with Cicada killing metas only to have them emphasize that KF was immune because she was born with meta DNA and didn't have any dark matter in her. The lack of continuity in the writing room continues. KF has been in front of the entire police force, along with Barry and Cisco, without getting arrested; she's also been at Jitters without being arrested. Only now can she be arrested?! Splitting KF and Cait might be from their stupid use of Velocity X in 7x2; all synthetic speedforce drugs have had negative side effects on the user. Hopefully, the writers will use VX as the cause, especially since cold and speed should not be able to coexist. Also, I suspect
  19. Cait and Killer Frost need at least three people telling them how awesome they are per episode. Ralph is gone; Sue called her "Dr. Perfect" before leaving. No female friendship between Iris and Cait exists since they just used that SnoWest arc in season 4 as an execuse to get Cait into Iris' wedding. Allegra is left as the de facto CS/KF brown-noser while Cisco or Cecile is busy. They already had Allegra praise KF's fighting skills despite the fact that KF's fighting skills are poor. Allegra standing next to Cait is also supposed to say, "Look, it's female friendship!" And Iris gets almost no one on her side alone, not even her own father. I'm waiting for them to put some praise for CS/KF into Kamilla's mouth when Kamilla still deserves an apology from KF for trashing Kam's photography.
  20. After rewatching, Iris says, "We need you, we need you" twice before saying, "We need you, I need you." I'm wondering if the first two were actually the speedforce aliens talking to Barry through Iris, saying they need him.
  21. I will forever believe that they depowered Cisco so that Ralph could be Barry's next in line, so to speak. In fact, before Crisis, Barry named the Elongated Man Central City's protector, if you recall. That position should have rightly gone to Vibe, but they depowered Cisco to make certain it would go to Ralph. And look how that turned out?! And I just can't believe in Cisco and Kamilla's love; it's like neither actor musters the energy to pretend to be 'in love' with the other.
  22. The only person Cisco is completely devoted to is Killer Caitlin Frost Snow, not Kamilla, who Cisco has said is the most important person to him. Time and time again, Cisco has proven that Killer Cait is his number one priority. Therefore, Cisco has no issue laying waste to Barry or telling Barry when Barry's messed up. Ironically, correcting Barry and holding Barry accountable for Barry's mistakes is a sign of a healthy friendship. No real friend would let you hurt yourself or hurt others without saying or doing something about it. Cisco's unwillingness to set boundaries for Killer Cait and hold them accountable for wrongdoing is a sign of an unhealthy, one-sided friendship. And Killer Cait clearly does not value Cisco as they should; Cisco is there to feed their ego and sop up their frosty tears. Now that Ralph's gone, it'll be Cisco's full-time job again to tell Killer Cait that, "You is kind, you is smart, you is important."
  23. I'm wondering if using Velocity X will have any unexpected consequences for Killer Caitlin Frost Snow. Canonically, the use of Velocity has been fraught with negative consequences for Trajectory and Zoom. Perhaps its use might kickstart a splitting of bodies for Killer Cait, especially since KF dating w/o Cait's consent would be disgusting and highly problematic.
  24. My fear is that, based on BTS pictures of KF getting arrested, that Joe's story will be dealing with issues of police corruption & brutality towards meta-humans. This plot is meant to be a reference to BLM and the 2020 protests about policing in the real world. I shudder at the thought that KF will be used to represent POCs or other at-risk communites in a story about policing in the USA.
  25. This is why Killer Frost and Cait are sociopaths and villains no matter what retcon they keep doing. Neither has yet expressed empathy for all the friends they tried to murder or for helping to murder HR. They have yet to apologize to all these people either. She and Cait are both selfish to the extreme, and no one calls them out on it. Anything bad Barry does, at least he feels and shows guilt for it and has also paid the price for it, but nothing for Cait or Killer Frost. I'll take Barry's genuine good heart, mistakes and all, over the sociopath/narcissist combo of Cait/KF any day. They rarely show remorse, never take responsibility, & are never held accountable to a moral or legal standard. ETA: And Cisco Ramon is Cait/KF's primary enabler. Cisco will take Barry to task anytime Barry steps out of line, like he did w/Flashpoint, the meta cure, and in this episode with the ASF and being emotionless. Cisco will never let Barry get away with anything. But Cisco has remained silent when Cait nearly got Cynthia murdered, silent when KF trashed Kamilla's work, and silent when KF tried to murder him and the rest of the team. That's not how genuine friendship works.
