  1. The mother of the baby who played baby Hope Swan-Jones posted a picture of her in "costume" on Instagram. The CS fandom immediately dissolved into SQUEE. (I may or may not have joined in.)
  2. Well, that was the Worst. Reunion. Ever. By FAR. It was already truncated, and then Jeff talked to Kevin Hart more than any contestant, including the winner. And I'd rather have seen this year's contestants than James and Erik. Absolutely awful. But congrats to Wendell! He was my fave.
  3. I guess Once really is a metaphor for Hollywood, after all. I really hope they don't drag Colin into this. Lana, of course, is a given. It would be just like A&E to stick it to JMo and CS fans by casting them as love interests in something.
  4. A&E have signed big new deals, and I just want to know WTF these companies are thinking. ABC isn't going to rebound if this is who they're banking on. Seriously, WTF???? They must be desperate after losing Shonda. Or they're showing how clueless they are and why exactly the network is faltering so much.
  5. OMG, there's going to be a Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries movie!!!!
  6. I have a very concrete fanfic idea, but I doubt I'll have time to do it. I figure somebody else will get to the same idea first.
  7. As a general rule, I'm bored by superhero movies. Or at least the Marvel ones -- I do enjoy the X-Men movies (perhaps more for the actors than the stories, and I generally watch them on DVD rather than in the theater). Before "Wonder Woman," I think the last superhero movie I saw in the theater was "Iron Man 2," and that was so offensively bad, I think it destroyed all interest I had in the genre. Man, I hated that movie. But I wanted to support the studio for FINALLY making a WW movie, so I went to see it, and I liked it a lot -- it had far more emotion and humor than I expected. You could tell it was made by women, and that's a good thing. Though I agree the climax was a bit lacking and could have been better.
  8. There were some from early in the series, I think. As for who negotiated not filming together, either way is possible. I doubt we'll ever know for sure, though gossip may come out (which always has to be taken with a grain of salt depending on who posts it). Given that Lana has always been the one who tried to push for pics/interaction while JMo avoided or demurred, I think she's the less likely option, but who knows.
  9. Season 7 is the first time that JMo had any room to negotiate that, though. She was on contract before that and couldn't insert any "I don't want to work with Lana" demands. There wasn't any way to refuse to work with Lana without causing a real stink and being in violation of her contract and subject to repercussions, and JMo strikes me as too professional for that. But the second her appearances were subject to new negotiation? Boom.
  10. They strike me as very different type of people, so I think it's understandable that perhaps they just didn't relate to each other well. I think most of us work with people that we'd never be friends with or hang out with, while other co-workers we enjoy hanging out with outside of work. Sometimes you can work fine with the co-workers you don't like, but sometimes it's so difficult it's untenable. This is absolutely nothing but speculation on my part, but I think at some point JMo had enough of Lana baiting and playing to SQers and trying to force JMo to do the same. There were a few instances where I thought Lana kind of threw JMo under the bus with them, so that probably didn't sit well. IMO Lana has always tried to draw attention to and elevate herself, sometimes at the expense of co-workers or their characters. And I wouldn't be surprised if there were some issues with the way A&E shifted the focus from Emma to Regina and started treating Emma like a secondary character and Regina as the lead.
  11. Thank you!! Lord, what a mess. Typical A&E ridiculousness that doesn't stand up to thought. No wonder I wasn't seeing good explanations, just questions. At least it leaves it open to all sorts of fanfic interpretation (and ways to reverse it). But hasn't that always been how Rumple wanted it, having Belle all to himself? So I guess it's his heaven.
  12. At least they didn't give Regina a love interest on top of her being made Queen of the Universe. That would have been too much. I mean, it was obviously already too much to have her be UltaQueen, but a love interest too would've been TOO TOO MUCH. I'm assuming they didn't give her a new true love/soulmate as a nod to the OQers and SQers, but for whatever reason they didn't, that was a good thing. She doesn't deserve to have romantic love on top of everything else. I have a few questions, because I have a fic brewing. I realize since I didn't watch, that's rather cheeky of me, but I simply couldn't stomach the Regina worship. I realize it's probable possible they didn't actually answer all some of these. 1) Did Regina actually bring all the realms to SB, or just the people in them? And was it everybody, or just "the people I love and the people who love me"? 2) What exactly went into the spell/curse to do it? I saw something about pieces of people's hearts -- was that literal or metaphoric (like "part of their love for me")? Who all did these pieces come from? 3) Did they address what happened to the rulers of all these other worlds, like Elsa, Merida, Tiana, Rapunzel, etc.? Did they just happily give up their thrones to Regina?
  13. Honestly, having Snow crown Regina Good Queen of all the Realms is such a perversion of everything. It's disgusting, but perfectly in keeping with this show and A&E's Regina permaboner/Snow hate.
  14. In my headcanon, some of them figure out a way to undo that nonsense. But not before they force Regina to abdicate because they realize how awful she is.
  15. In case anybody just wants some Captain Swan gifs. Kudos to the poster for getting them up pretty much instantly. At least JMo Emma didn't have to clap for Regina since she was holding the baby. Heh.
  16. Yay!!!! So glad! I know how stressful it is to wait for test results like that!
  17. Given how little A&E gave Regina to do this season -- and they actually LIKE her character -- JMo would've stuck around for probably Granny level scenes.
  18. Jennifer Morrison doesn't regret decision to leave OUAT (As well she shouldn't!)
  19. We should've known A&E wouldn't be able to come up with many Untold Stories.
  20. Yeah, no doubt CS would've missed out on raising their child -- a second time for Emma! -- so I am also super-thankful JMo didn't sign up for S7. It would've been a watered-down, more annoying version of S1 Snowing. Dodged that bullet!
  21. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms on the forum (including moms of furry babies)!
